Jaka Someh's

Jaka Someh's
Chapter 7. Succeeded. Discipline and patience.

After a good night's rest, Jaka Someh wakes up before dawn breaks. He woke up with a burning spirit. His strength has now recovered, ready to do his first training. That morning he planned to make a place to practice or gym on the slopes of Mount Halimun, around his own field.

Unlike the previous days, that morning Jaka Someh left by running fast up the mountain. He remembered the story of Sudin battery, that Aki sudin was also originally trained by Ki Buyut leuweung Cadas just running in the forest. Even then Aki Sudin ran while chasing a stray dog in the forest. His teacher was deliberately training the sudin battery with such hard physical training. Jaka Someh also argues Sama, that running exercises are useful to increase stamina and physical strength.

Not even a quarter of the way to the top of the mountain, Jaka Someh has been scattered. His breath gasping, feeling tired and lousy due to running hard. He wanted to rest for a while, but his little heart refused. He again strengthened his determination, to stay in the training. Jaka Someh encouraged himself not to be outdone by the tiredness and pain that he was experiencing.

Despite feeling a tremendous pain, Jaka Someh still tried to run, although his run slowed down. Until he finally arrived at his field after passing the mountain peak. There he immediately broke down because he was no longer able to withstand fatigue.

His sweat was pouring out and his breath was panting. His eyesight was also twitching. But he felt quite satisfied after making it through his first practice.

After having enough rest, his strength began to recover. After that Jaka Someh began to work on his fields. That day he planted corn.

When it was finished, Jaka Someh took the water container. He gulped down water to quench his already chronic thirst.  After that, he made various equipment from wood and bamboo as a means to practice his silat lessons. He planted a few pieces of bamboo onto the ground. On top of the bamboo pieces that Jaka Someh practiced the science of body balance, training footsteps and horses.

Every day Jaka Someh trains hard and disciplined. Without feeling like he had trained hard for a month.

Jaka Someh remembered Aki Sudin's message to visit him once every month. To Discuss and practice silat with Aki Sudin.

That day, Jaka Someh went to Aki Sudin's house in Cinangka village, bringing various crops from his fields. He walked by shouldering two sacks of rice and corn.

Without difficulty Jaka Someh found the house of Aki Sudin in Cinangka village despite having to ask several times to the residents who were there.

“Assalamualakum

Jaka someh said his greetings when he arrived in front of Aki Sudin's house.

The house seems simple, but looks neat and beautiful. Around the yard there are several types of plants and flowers.

“Wa aleikum greetings “

Aki Sudin answered Jaka Someh's greeting.

“Wah jang someh, Thank God you came also to the battery house, Nini! Here,! here thereJang someh to our house !“.

Aki Sudin greeted Jaka Someh with hospitality, then he immediately called his wife Nini Esih. Nini Esih immediately came out to welcome Jaka Someh.

“Aduh casep, kumaha damang, ? let's get the mango sock inside,! sorry if the battery and nini house is less large, hehehe “

Nini Esih smiled kindly to Jaka Someh.

“Thank you Nini, Aki, I'm sorry to come all the way to trouble Aki and Nini, hehehe, Punten Nini I brought nothing but this only “

Jaka Someh smiled, pleased with their hospitality,

“Aih, you do not bother or casep, to bring souvenirs, hihihi but nini accept ya souvenirs ? “

Nini Esih laughs happily brought something by Jaka Someh.

After meeting and chatting ngalor ngidul. Finally Aki Sudin invited Jaka Someh to practice silat.

“Sok ujang, try to show it to Aki!  how far have you been training tea ?”

Aki Sudin asked Jaka Someh to show the results of his training for a month at Mount Halimun.

“Iya battery “

Aki Sudin nodded his head when he saw the various silat movements shown by Jaka Someh. His movements looked filled and powerful. His heart was delighted to see Jaka Someh's near-perfect movements in his eyes.

“Good, good Jang, just a month, you have been able to master various movements that have been taught perfectly “

“Now battery will train your physical strength “Kata Aki Sudin.

“What exercises Aki ?”Tanya Jaka Someh looks impatient.

“Now battery will train the strength of your wrist, you try to hold as hard as you can, battery will beat your wrist with a stick of cane wood, this hold ya jang! hold on all you! Now try to stretch both of your hands forward ! “.

Jaka Someh immediately stretched his hands forward.

“Jang, learning silat it means learning about surviving to live under any conditions, the enemy will not tolerate our state of being weak, being sick or again off guard, in the rain or heat, in the day or night, before you can hit your enemy then you must be able to feel the pain in the beat and kick, you must be strong! if you already know the taste of being hit is not good, then you should not arbitrarily to others, because you will not like when hit by others “

Aki Sudin shouted loudly to Jaka Someh, the,

“Hold Jang! strengthen your hands! hold breath!  let's harden both your hands ! “

Shouted aki sudin.

Jaka Someh immediately hardened both of his hands.

Prak, prak, Jaka Someh's two hands were immediately beaten with sugar cane sticks by Aki Sudin. The blow was very hard. Despite the tremendous pain, Jaka Someh tried to endure the pain. His heart was determined to defeat that sugarcane stick.

After 20 strokes, the cane sticks began to disintegrate. Likewise with the wrist of Jaka someh who looks reddened and swollen. He felt tremendous pain.

After a short break, Aki Sudin tried to treat the wrist of Jaka Someh who looked still swollen with a mixture of traditional herbs in the form of a mixture of coconut oil, kencur and ginger.

The next day Jaka Someh resumed his training with Aki Sudin. Practice the horses and the science of locking. That ends with exercises to strengthen the wrist by using a hard cane rod. After the sugar cane was crushed and Jaka Someh's hand became swollen, Aki Sudin immediately treated Jaka Someh's hand with his mainstay potion.

Thus Jaka Someh trained for three days and three nights at the Sudin battery house, after which he said goodbye to his hut on the slopes of Mount Halimun, and continued to train alone there.

The following month he returned to visit Aki Sudin's house to receive various new lessons.

Many exercises are given by Aki Sudin in addition to physical endurance exercises. Strategy training against enemies, as well as exercises to improve concentration and the spirit to survive. Not infrequently all over the body of Jaka Someh was hit and kicked by Aki Sudin, and Jaka Someh was told to hold it.

Once Jaka Someh was told to soak in deep river water. After he felt unable to hold his breath, Jaka Someh immediately appeared to the surface of the river. Just for a moment he took a breath, Prak, his head was immediately hit by a fairly hard wooden rod. At first he was shocked and felt pain. His head is quite large. He immediately dived back and walked towards the river. Not finished he released the feeling of fatigue and pain, aki sudin immediately launched an attack on him.

Although Jaka someh felt overwhelmed, he still tried to avoid the attack, rolled over and immediately retaliated against Aki sudin's attack, until Aki sudin who next felt bad for getting a retaliatory attack from his student. That's some of the exercises they do.

After several times training with Aki Sudin, Jaka Someh has been able to overcome the various attacks that Aki sudin launched lightning and suddenly.  In fact, he was able to avoid various lightning attacks launched by Aki Sudin even though his breathing was still in a state of sting due to lack of oxygen due to long soaking in the river.

That is how Jaka Someh trained very hard by Aki Sudin to face various kinds of dangers that threaten even in conditions that make sekritis possible.

“Patience and keep fighting for your life jang! you must always be ready to face the enemy under any conditions, no matter the rain, no matter the heat, no matter in the state of illness, being weak, or being weak, because the danger of the enemy threat that actually does not know it all, you must always BE READY!  “

Aki Sudin told Jaka Someh.

Day by day it has passed. While on Mount Halimun, Jaka Someh trained alone with discipline. To strengthen the punch, Jaka someh practiced using sandbags, cane sticks and wood trees as a material for his fist. As for training dexterity, he trained by jumping on branches of trees imitating the behavior of monkeys that are good at jumping on trees.

Jaka Someh also trains hard on how to use a machete quickly and effectively. Every day he practiced cutting bamboo and wood into small pieces with his machete with just one slash.

Every day he trained the science of slashing a machete even the results of his slashes became more and more refined. In addition to practicing cutting bamboo and wood stems, Jaka someh also trains slashing the leaves that are falling from trees.

Without feeling it has been almost 2 years he practiced silat under the guidance of Aki Sudin. His body was now becoming increasingly strong and muscular. His movements became agile and fast.  Even now it is adept at jumping from one tree branch to another. It was as if his body was light as a monkey or a squirrel that was expert in jumping.
