Chapter 32. The Strange Dream

The sun was already shining quite hotly upon the earth. Dewi Sekar has just awakened from her sleep. He immediately rushed towards the bathhouse. Just now he stepped his feet a few meters, suddenly there was the sound of Jaka Someh greeting from behind,

“ Nyai, just woke up ?”

That time, he woke up late.  Usually before dawn Dewi Sekar has woken up to practice silatnya.

The night is getting late, Dewi Sekar still can not feel a good sleep. His mind was always filled with the shadow of Jaka Someh. He felt astonished by the situation, on the bed he looked so agitated. He changed his sleeping position many times.

In his heart he wondered,

“What's wrong with me ?”.

Then he pensively long enough,

“Why do I keep thinking about Kang Someh? Am I starting to like kang Someh?”

The night continued to grow late, but Dewi Sekar still could not close his eyes. The situation outside was already very quiet, only the sound of crickets screeching a few times.

By early morning, Dewi Sekar finally fell asleep.

There were only wild shrubs surrounding the forest. Then he began to walk to find a way out of the forest.

He continued walking, but was still unable to find a way out of the forest. Dewi Sekar felt very tired, and realized that now he was lost in the forest. Suddenly he saw some snakes trying to get close to him. Dewi Sekar was very scared. He ran and kept running, to get away from the snakes. But the snakes were chasing him.

Dewi Sekar keeps trying to find a way to get out of the forest. But still unable to find a way. Desperate, he sat down from exhaustion.

Suddenly the Goddess Sekar saw a terrible creature approaching her. Even the serpents that were chasing him were already close to approaching him Fear and confusion had already taken hold of him.

He almost resigned, suddenly he heard the voice of the person who was reading the Quran. Her voice is so sweet. Suddenly the beasts and serpents ran away. They shouted loudly as their bodies were suddenly burned to the ground by the flames.

Dewi Sekar tries to get back up and look for the origin of the sound. Suddenly he saw a beam of light from the right corner of the forest. Dewi Sekar came to him. The light is getting brighter and clearer. His heart became very happy that it had found a way out of the forest.

Across the forest there was a grassland that looked green and beautiful. There Dewi Sekar saw a man sitting while reading the Quran. Read tartil and melodious. Dewi Sekar shook her heart when listening to the chanting of the holy verse of the Quran. He also approached the man.

Dewi Sekar was surprised when he saw the person turned out to be Jaka Someh,

“Kang Someh ?’.

Jaka Someh turned to him and smiled. Dewi Sekar was stunned to see the smile of Jaka Someh. He looks handsome and dignified. His face was like a gentle light.

Just now he was going to call again the name of Jaka Someh, suddenly Dewi Sekar had awakened from his dream. He saw the day was approaching dawn.

Dewi Sekar sat beside her bed, thinking about the dream that had just happened earlier.

“I koq can dream strange like this, what was the meaning and meaning of the dream yes ?”.

Dewi Sekar muttered softly. Suddenly he heard footsteps outside the house. Dewi Sekar was curious then peeked out from the gap of his window. He saw Jaka Someh walking in neat clothes towards the village mosque to perform dawn prayer.
