Chapter 31. The Humble Physician

The next morning Raden Karta invited Dewi Sekar and Jaka Someh to come to his house. He told his wife to cook a meal in honor of Jaka someh and his new niece. Raden Karta's wife was a woman from the common people. A friendly and humble woman. They have two children. A man and a woman. Both are married and have children. They live in their own homes, but still together with Raden Karta.

His first child was a man, named Suradita, aged one year under Dewi Sekar, but already has a baby. Her first child was 4 years old, her second child was 2 years old.  His sister, Santika, was married about a year and a half ago. The age difference with Dewi Sekar about 5 or 6 years.  Santika just a few months ago just got momongan. Raden Karta said to Goddess Sekar and Jaka Someh,

“Nyai, for a while you just stay at Mamang's house!  coincidentally in the house of tea mamang many empty rooms, jang someh too huh ? “.

Dewi Sekar actually objected to linger at his Uncle's house, he wanted to immediately find his father and sister.

But somehow there is a sense of hesitation to reject the request of his uncle. Half was forced to answer his uncle's request with a slight nod ,

“Ooh iyy ya mang, ga nothing “.

The next day after breakfast, in a half-casual atmosphere Raden Karta chatted with Jaka Someh and Dewi Sekar. He asked a lot of questions to Jaka Someh. Jaka Someh told me a little about himself. His style of speech seemed official and full of politeness. Dewi Sekar also shared a story about the personality of Jaka Someh to his uncle, who he considered good and full of sincerity.

Dewi Sekar also told about the personal Jaka Someh who impressed religiously to his uncle. There was a sense of admiration in the story. Raden Karta smiled at the attitude of Jaka Someh who always lows. Somehow there is a sense of pleasure to see the person of Jaka Someh simple. He just knew her.  Dewi Sekar then added the story to his uncle,

“Oh Yes Mang Karta, Kang Someh is also a medical expert you know “.

Jaka Someh smiled shyly at the words of Dewi Sekar, he also tried to humble himself.

“Ah is actually ordinary father, nothing special, just a coincidence I have learned a little about the science of medicine from kyai Thiban, my knowledge is still not how father, but I have no knowledge of how, still far from calling an expert “.

Raden Karta glanced at Jaka Someh, with a friendly smile,

“oh yes? wow that's great! ahh what a coincidence then, that, uhhhh her husband Si Entin has long been in the pain maybe jang Someh can treat, the pain of tea has been almost two years road “.

“Ceu Entin her sister aunty mang?” ask Dewi Sekar.

“Iya, Mang Adang, sister-in-law mamang “ Said Raden Karta.

“Iya, of course Jang. Of course it is possible, Maybe Jang Someh understands about his illness, hopefully there is a way to cure, when about Jang Someh can check it?” ask raden karta.

“Mangga Sir. Now also it's okay, is his house far from here, ?”. Jaka Someh.

“Not too far jang, not up to a kilometer and at most, that's the east side of the mosque, support oruh, then we leave now!”. Answer raden Karta.

Jaka someh said. They also say goodbye to Dewi Sekar and Raden Karta's wife to go to the house of Ceu Entin.

Arriving at Ceu Entin's house, Jaka Someh was immediately asked to check the situation of Pak Adang by Raden Karta.  Ceu Entin and Raden Karta also accompanied Jaka someh into the room. Jaka Someh immediately checked the condition of Pak adang by fingering various nerve points. After checking, Jaka Someh said to Raden Karta and Ceu Entin,

“why not now or jang?”. Tanya Raden.

“Sorry Father, I have to concoct some medicinal ingredients first, the ingredients I tried to find first, easy2an only around here “. Jaka Someh.

At night that same day, Jaka someh had returned to the house of Ceu Entin accompanied by Raden Karta. Not wasting any time, she immediately gave treatment therapy to husband Ceu Entin. Jaka Someh incised several points of reflection in his patient's body. Mr. Adang felt tremendous pain.

“You are sick Jang, geez, you are not strong anymore, slow down, fight “

Mr. Adang said while grimacing in pain.

But Jaka Someh did not care about it, he continued to spy on some points of the patient's limb, while occasionally comforting him with words.

When finished, Jaka Someh gave ramuaan to his patients. Some of the ingredients are washed, and the rest are drunk.

Jaka someh gave the treatment therapy for three nights in a row. The second night, when in the massage, Mr. Adang no longer feels pain like the first time in the massage. The next day, Jaka Someh and Raden Karta were told that husband Ceu Entin had started to walk, although still limping and stiff.

Ceu Entin said with his excitement,

The words of Jaka Someh and raden Karta coincided with a happy tone.

Raden Karta glanced at Jaka Someh. He looked at the face of Jaka Someh, as if amazed by the ability of jaka Someh in the field of medicine.

“Wah, great you jang “.

Raden karta praised Jaka someh sincerely.

“No Father! I am not great, I only strive, The Healing is the Gusti of Allah, Alhamdulillah Allah grant our prayers “ Said jaka Someh.

Raden Karta nodded her head with a happy smile at Jaka Someh's tawadhu speech. His sympathy also increased to Jaka Someh.

After giving good news to Jaka Someh and the others, Ceu Entin immediately returned to return home.
