Jaka Someh's

Chapters 16. Lust Infidelity.

After saying goodbye to the merchants on the south coast, Jaka Someh continued on his way home.

He had originally planned to spend the night in the region, but since his fight with the black dragon gang had taken up a lot of time, he decided to immediately continue his journey. He drove his cow cart last night. Thankfully, the sky looked clear that night. Although there is no moon, but it is filled with a sprinkling of luminous stars, so Jaka Someh can see clearly the way around it. The streets seem quiet only heard a few times the noise of night animals such as wild dogs and owls.

Jaka Someh wants to get to his house immediately, he also drove his cow cart. He misses his wife and children. Although Jalu is not his biological child, Jaka Someh loves him very much. He was the one who had cared for Jalu from birth with great affection.

Jaka Someh continued to drive all night. He rested at dawn, after performing the dawn prayer. Having no power to endure sleepiness, Jaka Someh fell asleep in his cow cart. He woke up when the sun had already risen as high as a spear, as it felt the warmth from the morning sun. Waking up from sleep, he felt hungry.

Jaka Someh then ate the timbel rice he brought, after which he resumed his journey.

It was late in the afternoon when Jaka Someh reached Cikaret village. His house looks lonely. A few times say hello but no one replies. When he was about to enter the house, suddenly someone called out to him,

“Meh, Someh, you just came? Your father-in-law from yesterday afternoon went to the field, until now it seems not to have come home, if Asih I see go alone, somewhere, even the Jalu was tucked away in the house of mamang. Mamang does not know where Asih went, because he did not say anything to Mamang” said mang udin.

“Oh, yes mang Udin, thank you. Sorry to be troublesome mamang, then I bring the jam ya mang !“

Jaka Someh also went to the house of mang Udin, and saw that the widow was asleep in the bale of the house of mang Udin. Jaka Someh carried her while taking her home. Arriving at the house of Jaka Someh laid Jalu in a bed in his room. Jaka Someh also went to take a shower to clean himself. After that he cooked water to make his favorite ginger wedang. Bakda magrib Pak Rohadi has just returned from his field. While Asih just arrived home after Isya, he felt clumsy to see Jaka Someh had returned home.

Jaka Someh himself was amazed by the Asih attitude that seemed clumsy to him, but he pretended to smile to hide his astonishment. There was not much conversation between them in the room.

In just a few moments, Asih had fallen asleep without caring for her husband who had just come from a distant place.

Jaka Someh just shook his head to see Asih who was already asleep. He felt sad, his wife still did not seem to have any feelings of love for him.

The next day, Jaka Someh set out for the fields to help her in-laws take care of the garden. He brought along the pest. Go alone somewhere. He left without saying goodbye to Jaka Someh or Pak Rohadi.

By Ashar, Jaka Someh had returned home with Mr. Rohadi and the Jalu. They found the house empty, there was no Asih. Mr. Rohadi was astonished by his daughter's attitude, then asked Jaka Someh,

“Si Nyai go where ya Jang Someh,?”

Jaka Someh replied,

“I also do not know father, Asih said nothing, maybe there is a need outside?  “

Mr. Rohadi was not happy to hear the answer, Jaka Someh,

”You're her husband's tea. Yes in Tanya dong!  if he wants to go out, where are you going? Same who? how-how long? do not let him act as he pleases ! “

Jaka Someh felt uneasy hearing her somewhat elevated tone in-law.

Jaka Someh asserted the advice of Mr. Rohadi,

“Iya Father, Fine. I'm sorry. Later I try to talk about it with Asih “.

Until 8pm it turned out Asih still did not go home, Mr. Rohadi looked so worried about his daughter who still did not go home, he said to Jaka Someh, he said,

“While, the Nyai tea where ya Jang, ? Until now still not home “

Jaka Someh tried to calm Mr. Rohadi,

“Let me just look for sir, Later I try to ask Nyi Darsih, his friend Asih, maybe he is there “

Mr. Rohadi assented,

“Iya atuh, you find Asih ya jang! Tell her to go home quickly!  not good women out of the house alone let alone until late at night like this “

Jaka Someh immediately went out to find his wife who still did not come home even though it was late at night.  With a feeling of sadness mixed with the feeling of was`was Jaka Someh walked gontai around the village of Cikaret. After walking for a while, Jaka Someh decided to go to the house of Nyi Darsih, Nyi Asih's best friend. He hoped to find Asih there. Arriving in front of the ruman nyi Darsih, Jaka someh said his greetings,

“Assalamu aleikum, Punten “

Not long after, a female voice answered Jaka Someh's greeting.

A young woman came out of the house,

“Eeh, kang someh, what's wrong?  night-`night like this to Darsih's house, ?”.

The woman was Nyi Darsih. Jaka Someh smiled at Nyi Darsih, then said,

“Punten Nyai, I'm sorry I'm having tea at night like this, anu, akang teah again nyari Asih, akang's wife, maybe Asih teh is playing at Nyai's house?“

Nyi Darsih's face was slightly surprised to hear the words of Jaka Someh. Suddenly his face looked sad.  Nyi Darsih then said to Jaka Someh,

“Sorry Kang Someh, Asih has not played in my house for a long time, but, anu kang ? “.

Nyi Darsih seemed hesitant to continue his speech so that made Jaka Someh become curious.

With a curious face, Jaka Someh asked Nyi Darsih,

“Anu, why Nyai, ?”.

With a feeling of worry Nyi Darsih then continued his words, saying,

“Ah no kang, sorry, Just, anu kang, I heard Asih tea now often go alone with Kang Panji, I'm sorry,  does kang Someh not know that kang Panji tea has returned to our village?”

Hearing Nyi Darsih's description, Jaka Someh's heart felt hot and sad. He imagined Asih back to making out with his ex-lover.

Jealousy began to overwhelm him. His heart felt slashed. Never before had he felt the pain he was now feeling. Although his heart began to falter, Jaka Someh tried to remain calm. Jaka Someh said to Nyi Darsih,

“Ya already oruh Nyai, if indeed my wife is not here, I want to excuse me, want to leave, let me just find it to another place “

Nyi Darsih invited Jaka Someh to leave,

“Iya kang mango “

Jaka Someh then left Nyi Darsih. He kept going around the village to look for his wife, suddenly there was someone calling his name from behind.

“Meh!  Someh wait! “

Jaka Someh glanced towards the origin of the voice. Mang Udin was approaching him. Jaka Someh smiled at Mang Udin,

“Eh mamang, what's wrong?”

With a serious face mang udin said to Jaka Someh,

“Where are you from Meh?  not usually you walk until the nights like this”.

Jaka Someh answered Mang Udin's question,

“Anu Mang, I tea, again nyari Asih, my wife, from earlier koq has not returned also ”.

“Nah so atuh, have a wife tea must be considered ”.

Jaka Someh turned his face to Mang udin in surprise to hear Mang Udin. Just now that he was about to respond to the words of mang udin, mang Udin had already preceded him by saying,

“Your wife tea is now home, I happened to cross paths with Asih when I left the house, yes it is now mah you just go home!  try chatting with Asih in a good way!  if there is any problem of tea household should be discussed together “

Jaka Someh though filled with feelings of wonder with the words of Mang Udin, but he agreed to go home soon.

“Iya Mang, then I say go home huh?  nature nuhun mang, Mango “

Mang Udin convinced Jaka Someh to come home soon.

Arriving at home, jaka someh directly into the house that looks lonely. Mr. Rohadi had already entered his room. Jaka Someh went straight into his room, saw Asih had fallen asleep. There is a sad feeling in my heart. The attitude of his wife until now still can not appreciate him. Jaka Someh muttered in his heart,

“Aduh, Nyai akang tea was panicking, worried about your situation, I'm afraid that if you get into trouble, uh it turns out you are now sleeping fast like this, like this,  Where did you tea from?  make it difficult and worry, do you not know that I love you very much?  ”.

After being satisfied to look at his wife who was asleep, Jaka someh then lay her body in the bale-bale room next to the body of the Jalu.

The next day, Jaka someh prepared breakfast for them.  Finished breakfast, while being alone with his wife, Jaka someh started a conversation with Asih.

“Punten Nyai, where did you tea yesterday? Akang tea until you're worried you haven't come home too until night”.

Asih did not seem happy to hear Jaka someh's question, she answered tightly,

“i just play with my friend kang, I also need to hang out, need refreshing, so as not to saturate at home continue “

Hearing Asih's reply like that Jaka Someh sighed, then said,

“Punten Nyai, not Akang's intention to interfere in his affairs, Akang heard Kang Panji tea has returned to this village?  there are people who witnessed that you often go alone with Panji kang, sorry is that true ?”.

Asih was shocked to hear Jaka Someh's question, his face immediately turned red, showing anger and shame. He loudly said to Jaka someh,

“Akang, I need to hang out and have fun!  can I live like a mama? Kuper and stiff, please don't understand women's feelings, I want to be happy too! “

Although Jaka Someh already thought Asih would be angry with his frank question, but still he felt surprised to see Asih was so emotional.

Jaka someh understood the nature of his wife. He also softened with an Asih attitude that seemed hard to respond to his question.

When he was about to continue the question again to Asih, Asih directly cut it while saying ketus, saying,

“Already kang!  I'm tired now, please don't bother me!  although akang is my husband but I do not like to interfere in my personal affairs “

Hearing Asih's words that were so ketus, Jaka someh could only be silent. He was trying to spread himself. Then said softly to Asih,

“Ya already nyai, I'm sorry if I so annoying you, actually I'm just worried about your situation “

Asih just nodded his head hearing Jaka Someh's apology to him. As if there was no guilt in her heart for having been strict with her husband. Soon Jaka Someh said goodbye to Asih to go to the fields.

Jaka Someh actually did not go to the fields, he deliberately lied because he wanted to investigate Asih activities as long as he was not at home.

Jaka someh stands behind a grove of trees that are not far from home. After waiting for a while, jaka someh saw Asih coming out of the house while carrying the hammer. Jaka someh followed him from behind. Asih turned out to go to the house bi Kesih to leave his son. After that he went eastward towards somewhere rather quiet. After arriving at a place with many trees, Asih stopped. Shortly thereafter, a man approached her. The man turned out to be Panji.

Panji immediately embraced Asih. Then they went towards the forest hand in hand with the message. Seeing the intimacy that Asih showed with Panji, Jaka Someh's heart became hot, angry and sad. His heart was so sick to the unexpected, seeing the affection of his wife with another man. Jaka Someh felt very angry and hated. His body trembled as it held back the anger. He had never felt such a deep sense of jealousy.

Jaka Someh then walks towards them, intending to crash. But just a few steps he walked, Jaka Someh suddenly stopped his footsteps. Jaka Someh fell silent and stared in the middle of the road, while looking at Asih and Panji. His mind raged violently. Whether to continue his intention to hit them or to let him.

If he hit them, and spilled all his anger even to the point of killing them both, maybe at that time his heart would be satisfied,  but continued what was he going to do after venting his anger and killing them both? Jaka Someh was worried that he would regret his actions.

Crossed the faces of Jalu and Mr. Rohadi alternately, Jaka Someh continued to think hard. By force Jaka Someh finally undo his intention to hit them.

“Yes Allah, what should I do? If I hit them right now, I'm afraid I can't control My anger, and subconsciously kill them both. Though I don't want to hurt my wife even a little bit also “

Jaka Someh was afraid when he could not control his anger. Then unknowingly killed Asih and her lover. Maybe it will be his regret for life. If Jaka Someh kills Asih and Panji, then Jalu will become an orphan. And he'll hate Jaka Someh forever. Jaka Someh was very fond of Jalu. Mr. Rohadi who he respected would feel sad and angry with him, if he knew Asih died at his hands. On the other hand, Jaka Someh also did not want to hurt Asih who is now his wife.

Jaka Someh confused not a bitch, then pensive long enough. His heart is very sad and hard.

Crashing them at that time, might also cause Asih to become more disobedient and rebel. Not consciously, but Asih will be angry and will deny his actions. Jaka Someh is very familiar with the temperamental nature of his wife. Their households would definitely be crowded with quarrels. So that all residents will know with household ulcers. Of course, this will damage the dignity of Mr. Rohadi who he greatly respects.

According to the view of Jaka Someh, divorcing his wife is actually the best solution. Because Jaka Someh and Asih will no longer persecute each other. Jaka Someh will no longer be angry with Asih, because whatever Asih does is no longer his business.  Asih has also no longer betrayed Jaka Someh, because Jaka Someh is no longer her husband. They will live their lives. But the decision to divorce was a very tough decision for Jaka Someh. A very big thing. His great feelings of admiration for his in-laws plus his sincere affection for Jalu and Asih made Jaka Someh think a thousand times to divorce Asih. Jaka Someh realized that the problem would continue to float if he did not immediately make a correct decision.

Distraught, and unable to endure anger and sadness, Jaka someh chose to leave the place towards his field.

Don't ask how angry and sad he is. Because his heart was indeed very sad, angry and disappointed.

Although in a difficult situation, Jaka Someh tried to stay strong. Several times he breathed.

“Astagfirulloh, this wrestling ordeal is so heavy for servant “

He snuck while saying istigfar. Then dhikr said the name of God hoping that his heart could be airy and calm again. Jaka someh continues to advise himself to be patient and sincere in the trials he is facing.

The night when Jaka Someh was alone with Asih in the room. Jaka Someh tried to talk to Asih. In a soft and gentle voice, Jaka someh said to Asih.

“Nyai Punteun. Akang just wanted to ask nyai, without any bad intentions. Sorry is it really Nyai Now being close again to kang Panji?”

Of course the question made Asih feel surprised and angry with Jaka Someh. With a loud and rough voice, Asih snapped at Jaka Someh violently, because he was considered to have interfered in his personal affairs.

“Kang Someh!  Is this what the fuck? making my heart unhappy, why this Akang likes to be bad to think to others, especially to his own wife. Who is this who?  I dare to interfere in my privacy. Even if I really close with other men, it is natural that I also need to hang out. Not like the one I worked for. Although I am my husband, I do not like it when I interfere in my personal affairs. Watch out if I dare like this again!  I will not be ridho, no longer want to talk with akang”.

　

　

Asih said so loudly to Jaka someh. Even said Jaka someh as a man who likes to be bad. Jaka Someh was very surprised to see the face of his wife who was very angry with him, even though he just wanted to speak well, discuss with his wife. He hopes to fix the household problems that seem to be starting to experience problems.

If it is true, Asih has been in a relationship with Panji again, then let himself give up to leave the Asih life. They can get divorced without having to fight. But Jaka someh felt hesitant to continue the conversation again because he saw an Asih attitude that seemed unable to be invited to compromise.

The nature of Jaka Someh who always relented and tended to avoid conflict with others, made him choose to apologize rather than confront his wife, hoping that Asih's emotions came back down. His heart actually felt very sad compared to his anger.

“Ya is sorry, I'm sorry. Please nyai no longer angry to akang. Akang will no longer interfere in nyai” affairs.

With sadness and disappointment Jaka Someh was forced to give up for a while to Asih. He felt very weak and stupid. How could he face such a formidable enemy, even facing his wife alone he felt helpless. It may be true what Babah Liong said to him, that he was a man who was too shy, often hesitant and easily felt sorry for people; besides, that to people who had clearly hurt him.
