Jaka Someh's

Jaka Someh's
Chapters 1. Jaka Someh's. Independent Youth.

In Kampung Cikaret, under the foot of Mount Halimun. It was the day before dawn.  The cold was so pierced into the bone marrow. The sky still looks dark, but Jaka Someh is busy with his activity of cutting firewood. His age is still very young ranging from 13 or 14 years, but his body already looks stocky and muscular.

At the age of 10, Jaka Someh became an orphan.  His mother died of a chronic illness. His father died when Jaka Someh was seven years old. He died horribly after being gang-raped by members of Juragan Permana.

Juragan Permana is a loan shark from Rawa Balong village, a village under the foot of Mount Halimun.

Jaka Someh's father was an ustadz who was quite reluctant by the community. An ustadz who is firm, authoritative, and has a generous heart. Frequently speaking from one village to another.

That day, when he returned to lecture from the village of Rawa balong, he was stopped by several temple of Juragan Permana who was not happy with the content of his lecture. He was killed and killed not far from his hut. Even Jaka Someh who was 7 years old at that time also witnessed the event. He could do nothing but cry over the dead body of his father. His heart was very sad and angry.

Jaka Someh's mother was shocked to see her husband die. After that he was sick until he finally died a few years later. The trauma of his father's death is quite evident in the heart of Jaka someh.

Especially after the incident, his mother often advised Jaka Someh to always be careful in speaking, so as not to offend let alone hurt the feelings of others. Must maintain manners, politeness, patience, must be pessimistic, and must always be humble. His mother's advice is quite imprinted in his heart has even formed a character on him.

Now, Jaka Someh is 13 years old. Living in a hut left by his late parents. A very simple hut, made from a worn bamboo booth. Inside were only bale-bale bamboo and a fireplace made of clay that had been dried.

Bathed in torch light, Jaka someh was so engrossed in his work, splitting pieces of dry wood with a machete. Cut some whole wood sticks into small pieces so that they can be used as firewood. The sweat looks like it's wetting the body.

Jaka Someh is a hard worker who is full of tenacity. Lazy is his enemy. He hated having to spend time in his life. The principle is that nothing should be in vain. As long as he is loose and healthy, he will do whatever is useful for himself or others.

Jaka Someh is a light-handed man.

Not feeling too good to help others. It doesn't matter even if the person doesn't appreciate it. His heart was satisfied when he saw others had been freed from the distress that was being experienced.

Jaka someh suddenly remembered one of his late father's messages.

At that time Mr. Sabarudin once said to him ,

“Ujang, anaking, the most handsome brother in the world, you do not be afraid to be tired or never

feel loss when you do something, as long as it contains goodness and benefits.

Just do it seriously. Work with a sincere heart and a sense of pleasure. Never expect praise from others. The important thing is that you get the Divine Ridho “

At that time Jaka Someh may still be around 6 years old, but his father has often given the temples. Once he asked his father,

“Change, what if we have worked hard but it turns out that our intentions and ideals are not achieved, is the work to be in vain ?”

Her father smiled at Jaka Someh's question, then hugged her while saying ,

“Anaking, my poor brother, you must inget this message, nothing is in vain in charity, no matter how small the work you do, no matter how small,  Insha Allah there is an impact, there is a benefit, just do it until it is complete, if it has not been able to be resolved at that time, yes continued again at another time, Long-long, long-time,  Insha Allah will arrive at the goal you want, the important thing is that you are patient, continue to strive and pray. Never give up, do not be afraid of Capek, after all, it is actually a blessing, try you think, if we are Fatigued, God willing we sleep so soundly ,  the food we eat will feel more delicious, even though the dish is just the taste, if only you know anaking, can sleep well and eat well is there a gift, duh if only you know anaking, can sleep well and eat well is there is a gift,  a pleasure, after enough rest, our bodies will also return to freshness, that is the barokah of life jang, one good will produce another good, life will be full of happiness, happiness,  the important thing is that we should always be grateful for the blessings that have been given by the Almighty ”.

Jaka Someh nodded his head. Whether he understood or not his father.

His mother was ironing using a charcoal iron, which is an iron heated by the Bara API from charcoal. His mother said to Jaka someh,

“Iya jang, right said your brother, try you see, ambu what is it now ?”

Although surprised his mother asked like that, Jaka Someh still tried to answer,

“Now ambu is ironing clothes, indeed why ambu atuh ?”

His mother smiled at his son's answer, he asked the child again just that wayangnya,

Jaka Someh spontaneously answered his mother's question,

“A lot of ambu, until it piles up like a mountain ”.

His mother smiled at his son's answer,

“Betul casep, anaking, try to notice, ambu ironing these clothes one by one, if the ironing ambu one shirt, do you think the pile of clothes will look reduced ?”

Jaka Someh was a little hesitant to answer it, worried that the answer would be wrong,

“How is ambu?  in my opinion, heumm if the ambu only iron one shirt, the pile still does not look reduced, let alone the pile of ironing ambu, mountain like that “

His mother laughed happily at his son's answer,

“Anakking tube, if only one shirt is ironed, the pile does not look reduced, as if it does not change, when in fact it is not so, by ironing only one shirt, the pile does not look,  ambu has reduced his pile of clothes, although only a little, if the ambu continue, iron one more shirt and continue again, one by one, for sure, the long-duration of his pile of clothes will disappear, he said,  because of the lack of ironing everything, the important thing is to be patient, to be done, so that if you try to work, do not half!  continue to work patiently until the desired purpose and goal is realized!  how to understand ?”.

Jaka Someh nodded his head, as if understanding the meaning of his mother's words at that time.

Mega red has now been seen in the eastern sky, the sign of dawn will rise. The sound of chicken crowing began to sound unpretentious, disperse the daydream of Jaka someh who reminisced about the time with his parents. Jaka Someh also transport the new firewood in the cut, put into the hut. He prepared to make a fire to cook water.

While cooking, he took the time to go to the Cikaniki river not far from his hut. The sound of the water was so exciting. Jaka Someh took a bath and wudhu with that water. The water still looks so clear and fresh without being exposed to the slightest pollution as well. Even so clear, seen some fish are playing chasing each other with his friend. Jaka someh smiled at the fish. It was one of the free entertainment that could help him calm the soul.

Jaka someh felt dependent on the existence of the Cikaniki river. Bathing, drinking, washing clothes and all the usual furniture are done in the river. As for B-A-B affairs Jaka Someh prefers a special area in the forest that is a bit far from his hut. He felt it was a pity that the river would be polluted by his organic waste. Maybe because there was no toilet at that time, so he had to BAB around the trees in the forest.

After wearing clothes that are no longer clear color, Jaka Someh pray in his hut. The distance of the mosque is quite far making it always pray itself in the hut ususnya. Since childhood Jaka Someh has received a good religious education from his late father.

After the prayer, Jaka Someh immediately returned to his kitchen to lift a container of water that seemed to have boiled. Place the container on a wooden bench that is next to the fireplace. He dipped the water with a dipper made of dried coconut shells. Making his favorite bitter coffee drink. After that, he burned some tubers for his breakfast menu. Soon there was a distinctive fragrant smell from the mature bulbs burned. Awakening his appetite that has been turbulent since. Jaka Someh muttered as his left hand scratched the scratching of his butt,

“Walah, the smell is really tempting, making me even more hungry, delicious to eat while drinking this bitter coffee mah “

Once the food is ready, Jaka Someh immediately devours it while occasionally sipping bitter coffee, his favorite drink. His face became as comfortable as enjoying a delicious dish. After being filled with breakfast, Jaka someh thanked him.

“Alhamdulillah Gusti, I feel full, very good, thank goodness I can eat well like this “

After finishing breakfast, Jaka someh began to get ready to go to the fields behind Halimun mountain.  After shaving a machete in

at his waist, he held a drinking container made of bamboo. Not to be left with his favorite bamboo flute.  After everything was ready, Jaka Someh came out of his beloved hut, with his lips committed to kamit, praying for goodness to the Almighty, the Almighty,

“Bismillahi Tawakaltu Allahu La haula wala quwata illa Billahi, mugi Gusti paparingan kasalameutan and kaberkahan ka sim servant “

After that he walked casually with a radiant face, leaving his beloved hut that had been buttered because of age eating.

Farming is a routine activity that Jaka someh does in his daily life. Since childhood, he has been used to farming. His beloved father had taught him the science of farming. Now Jaka Someh has grown into a reliable and skilled farmer. His love for the world of agriculture seemed to have penetrated into his heart. Although most people consider the farmer profession as low class, but Jaka Someh actually feel proud of the profession. He imagined what would happen if in the world there were no farmers, who would certainly bother because the community would have difficulty to get foodstuffs. As a minimum farmer he has been able to live his life independently with not much life dependent on others. He remembered with his father's advice, when he first got his agricultural studies,

“Ujang, anaking anu bageur, Allah is almighty, creating all things in vain, everything that God created, all must have their own functions and benefits, he said, it's just that many times we don't know much, we farm this is to seek the gift of God, hoping that with this effort we do, we,  Allah is Ridho and gives us a fortune in the form of food that is useful as a provider of life, yes we are one of God's creatures, as strong or as great as anything still needs something to connect life, and we need something to connect, we still depend on food, drink, clean air, residential land and others to be able to continue life. In contrast to Allah, the Most Perfect has no weaknesses, Allah does not need anything to live because He is the Most Alive, He is the source of all things,  everything came into being because of His will. It is God who gives all that his creatures need, the God who created the heavens, the earth, the earth, the earth, the comfortable air, the light of the sun and so on,  all that is one form of the love of God of the universe, we just manage it to get something we need or want, Allahu shomad, that is why it is called God, God,  since everything depends on Him, including us, relying on the goodness of the Lord of All Nature, farming is one of our ways of seeking His riddho and gifts “.

Jaka Someh nodded his head when he heard his father's lecture, at that time.

Without feeling now he has become a reliable and skilled farmer. Even because the results are always excessive, Jaka Someh often gave some of his agricultural products to villagers in need.
