I Found Love At the End of the Dusk

I Found Love At the End of the Dusk
As cold as Snow

I immediately fell silent a thousand languages after hearing Sam's words. Never mind looking, even though I did not dare, it felt very awkward and afraid, I did not want Sam to suddenly stop the car I was riding in and then immediately kissed me without warning.

"Sam," I said as I looked at Sam's usually quiet house now looks crowded.

"Yes, dear," said Sam with a sweet smile that had never worn off.

"What events are there in your house? kok tumben crowded," I don't want to just sit still and harbor curiosity that is now controlling my mind and I continue to disturb, I directly most of what I want to ask Sam.

"Today is the anniversary of Papa's death, and almost all of my family came to help with the houl event that will be held later that night" Sam explained what I asked.

"Why didn't you tell me from the beginning Sam?" my question comes from if Sam should have said everything from the beginning.

"Sorry, I forgot," Sam answered my question very lightly.

"I can't go in empty-handed Sam, let's go!" I feel like right now I have to bring something for Sam and his family.

"Where to go?" sam asked with a confused look on his face.

"We have to buy something for your family's souvenirs, if I go there without bringing anything, what will your family think of me?" I explained why I wanted to go and buy something for her family.

"Oh, you don't need to be confused! wait here!" said Sam who now understands what I want and I mean.

Sam opened his motorcycle seat and took out a medium-sized black plastic bag that looked so heavy, and I'm sure it must be something very heavy inside.

"What is that, Sam?" I asked while looking at the package in the black bag that has now moved into Sam's hand.

"Bring this up and give it to my Behek later!" tell Sam who I immediately reply with a nod and a hand that immediately touches the package.

"Thank you for the understanding, honey," I said, holding Sam's hand, gesturing for a hold.

Sam and I walked in with smiles.

"Assalamu'alaikum," I said shortly after arriving at the door of the living room.

"No greeting! they won't listen, we'd better just go in." Sam's voice immediately brought me into the house, even though I felt bad, but I still followed Sam's steps.

"Oma!!" sam's voice sounded so clearly calling his Grandma.

"Samuel!!!" granny Sam said no less loud than Sam's voice, the two hugged each other releasing a longing that emanated clearly on the faces of both.

"Based on a bad boy," Sam's grandmother suddenly hit Sam's head customer who smiled getting a punch from the Grandma.

"Ishhh, I just came home, instead of being greeted with a smile and a warm hug, Oma even hit me," complained Sam who now even put on a sad face to ask for sympathy from the Grandmother

"You should go home first! but even late and made Oma worried since then," Oma's cerocos that made me feel a little unwell because of it.

"Ishhh, I'm picking up Oma's future granddaughter-in-law, so I'm a little late, '" explained Sam who actually makes me feel bad.

"God! Oma paid no attention to anything when she met you, now where is Oma's granddaughter-in-law?" oma's question got me straight ahead then kissed the back of Oma Sam's hand that was smiling kindly towards me.

"Sorry for what, son?" oma who is now watching me.

"Sorry, for picking me up, Sam's getting late" I explained my reason for apologizing to Oma Sam.

"It's okay, you take it easy," replied Oma who seemed to accept my presence with open arms and enough hospitality to make me happy because of it.

"Oma, this is a little souvenir for Oma and the others." I gave you a black plastic bag that Sam never gave me.

"What is this, son?" Oma grabbed the plastic bag I thrust. But I can only smile without being able to answer the contents of the plastic bag I gave, all because I did not know what it contained.

"Geez, this is Oma's favorite food, you know what Oma likes" Oma exclaimed with a happy smile that flashed clearly on her face.

"Yes, Oma," I said clumsily, I'm really sorry why I didn't see what it contained before giving it to Oma who looked so happy with what I gave her.

"Oma, where's Mama?" asked Sam who was delicious earlier did look wry looking for something that turned out to be his mother.

"He was in the kitchen checking the workers so that nothing was lacking" Oma replied.

"Then I go first Oma. I want to meet Mama." Pamit Sam, she walked into the house holding my hand. And I just smiled at Oma as a sign of farewell because I had to follow Sam who was the owner of this house.

"Sam, why are there so many people wearing uniforms?" I asked again when I saw there were many people who were wearing uniforms were passing by and did something that was indeed his responsibility.

"Mama always does everything perfectly, she doesn't like it if something breaks the show she's making, Mama's a perfectionist" Sam goes back to explaining how her real Mama is, I'm a little creepy to hear Sam's explanation, if Mama's someone who has a perfectionist nature how about this imperfect me, in fact I have many flaws that may never be perfect and may not even be accepted by a perfectionist like Mama Sam.

"Mama!" call Sam who is now directly approaching him with a face full of joy that is now emanating on Sam's face.

"Have you come home?" mama Sam answered, hugging Sam lovingly.

"What about your job? is everything okay? is there a problem?" ask Mama Sam.

"Everything is fine, Mama, and I came home safe and sound, too" Sam replied.

"Thank God" said Mama Sam.

"Ma, I invite Dusk so that he can get to know and be familiar with our family," said Sam.

Mama Sam's reaction was very much different from the reaction of Oma Sam when she met me, Mama Sam just glanced at me and then turned her eyes back towards Sam.

"Take him with the others!" tell Mama Sam.

What Mama Sam showed me was enough to make me feel inferior and scared.

"Tante," I said, grabbing Mama Sam's hand and kissing her back, Mama Sam let me kiss her back, but she didn't say anything.

"Hm" said Mama Sam in a cold tone as cold as snow.
