A walk to the Park

"Mom don't know, you ask yourself the same person later!" answer Mother.

The real me still feels sleepy to have to wake up to see Sam who actually bothers me this morning.

With a lazy step I forced myself to step towards the bathroom to clean myself to be fresher when I met Sam.

"What's the morning here?" ask me shortly after arriving in the living room.

"Your questions hurt you, honey," answers that confused me for not being in line with what I was asking.

"Hurt how? I was just asking why did you come so early? is something going on?" I was astonished by Sam's question without waiting any longer.

"Am I not your lover" Sam answered my question again with an answer that confused me even more.

"Yes, you're my girlfriend, but what's the connection?" I asked back.

"Sunday is a holiday that's why I came here to see you and take you for a walk." Finally Sam explained the purpose of him coming to see me.

"Geez, what do I think is going on?" spontaneous talk.

"Why did you say that? don't you like me coming and taking you for a walk?" sam asked feeling strange about the reaction I gave.

"Who said I don't like it? I love it, where do we go?" I asked after hearing Sam ask.

"How about we go to the park this morning? Take a morning walk while looking for a snack, after that we go to the mall," bargained Sam.

"May as well, wait here! I'll get the bag first." Pamit.

"Where are you going Dusk?" mother asked as she watched me walk out of the room carrying a sling bag on my right arm.

"I'm going to the park, Mom. What's up?" I answered while throwing a question at Mom.

"Mom's going to work first. Before leaving don't forget breakfast I've prepared a meal for you at the table. Take Sam too!" mother's Decree.

I who was very understanding of Mother's nature just nodded then called Sam to take her to breakfast according to Mother's orders.

"Why are you looking at me like that?" I asked as I looked at Sam who was staring fixedly at me without blinking a single bit.

"So it feels legal to be a husband and wife if you believe it," replied Sam.

"Ishh don't fuck Sam! we are still invalid" I replied trying to resuscitate Sam who seemed to be imagining something that had not happened.

"Since childhood I've wanted to have a wife like my mother's friends" said Sam, which is quite confusing.

"Mother of your friends how does that mean?" I was confused by Sam's statement.

"My friends' mothers can always eat with them, serve rice to their children and husbands, it's very different from me who can never eat with Mom at the dinner table, she's always busy working and busy hanging out with her social friends, which is why I want to marry someone who can make as much time for her family as possible," Sam started telling me what really happened to him in the past.

"Sorry, Sam, for now I still want to work, which is why I don't want to get married first" I tried to say what really happened.

"It's okay, I'll wait for you until you're ready to be a housewife" an answer that really made my heart relieved after hearing it.

Finally we ate with gratitude, even though Mom only cooked tempeh and eggplant taste so good because we eat when the stomach feels hungry.

"Hand!" tell Sam shortly after I'm on the bike.

"Slow down!" I told Sam not to push the bike too fast.

As I wanted, Sam drove his bike at low speed so I could feel the breeze blowing.

"It turns out there are a lot of people who spend their time off here now" I said shortly after I arrived at the park that looks so crowded with many visitors.

"Did you never come here again after graduation?" search Sam after hearing my words.

When Sam and I graduated from school, we didn't go home to celebrate graduation with other friends, the reason was simple, I still needed the white uniform I bought to apply for a job, and Sam who understood my situation chose to accompany me to the Park rather than with other friends, in the Park was not so crowded as it is now, only a handful of people spend time here, but now the park is so crowded complete with people selling on the side of the road makes this Park a great choice to spend time off.

"I didn't come here Sam, who I knew after graduating was just one, looking for a job to help Mom, not infrequently I also help Mom do laundry at home, that's why I don't have time to come here" I replied.

"Well," spontaneous Sam.

"Why why?" I was confused by what Sam said.

"Nothing, would you like to buy some fir?" tawar Sam's.

"I'm still full Sam" answered my heartless appetite to eat after finishing a plate full of rice and fish that had been prepared by Mother.

"Alright, if so we just go for a walk, enjoy the atmosphere of the morning in this park," said Sam who again grabbed my hand and then walked to enjoy the atmosphere of the park that feels so cool.

We walked around enjoying everything that looked ordinary, but as we walked with the feeling of being filled with love all the ordinary things became beautiful until one voice surprised me.

Dddrrrttt .. dddrrrttt .. dddrrrttt ....

Sam took off the finger grip in my hand and took the phone that was stored in his pants pocket.

"Hello, why?" sam said shortly after he picked up the phone, Sam's forehead shriveled as if something happened that I don't know what it is?

"Honey," said Sam as he stared fixedly at me with a regretful look.

"What's up, Sam?" ask me who understands if there must be a serious problem right now is happening to him.

"There's a bit of a problem and I have to go to get it done, aren't you mad if I take you home now?" sam asked with a face full of regret.

"It's okay, you go home first! I still want to enjoy the atmosphere here," replied I who still want to enjoy the atmosphere in the park, it feels like I have not come to this place for a long time.

"Will there be no problem if I leave you alone here?" Sam hesitated to leave me.

"Sam, I'm not a five-year-old boy who would cry and cause trouble if he stayed alone, so don't worry! go!," I replied trying to convince Sam to leave and not to worry about me anymore.

"All right, I'll go first. You be careful here! and this is for you!" Sam gave me some red money.

"For what?" I asked who felt strange about Sam's sudden attitude of giving me money.

"Have, save and use this money! I'll go first." Sam immediately put the money in my hand and then stepped quickly leaving me who was silent at my place.
