"I need someone who can speak Arabic as well as Chinese" the man said.
Ken raised his hand, but the man only caught a glimpse of it and looked the other way. Damnit damnit! Why did he become so expensive to sell so anyway, pretending not to know but did not know him badly. What's my fault with her?
"Have you ever worked other than with an Arab?"
Ken raised his hand again as the man asked in Chinese. Twice the man spoke asked in Chinese, and it seemed that only he understood what the man was saying, for only he had raised his hand.
"Ck!" The man was lazy to admit. "Yes, here you are!" The man got off his horse.
Some slaves gave Ken his way forward and the Chinese man thrust his hand. With the help of the other slaves who pushed Ken from below, he was finally able to rise to the top.
Sales transactions were then completed by other men until Ken could finally be brought by the traveling troupe. Ken sat down in front of the burly man who had chosen him, as they shared the same horse. They also began their journey elsewhere.
The man cleared his throat. "I'm sorry, I have to pretend."
"Why were you so bad to me!" nagel Ken. The face of this man is now back to his 20-year-old origin.
The Chinese man laughed.
"Gojo's! You must have recruited Mom. You're supposed to help me not ignore me like that, okay?"
"Good, Boss."
"Don't yell at you, Gojo," circus Ken.
The man laughed again.
"So where are we going? How's the story going you finally recruited my mother?"
The Chinese man's face looked tense, but Ken did not see it because of Ken's position sitting in front. "Eh, I'm sorry Ken but I was just assigned to drive you to the city in front of it, after that you adventure yourself."
Ken looked back. "Why?"
"My job is just that, Ken and I can't ask."
"Oh." The Japanese man faced forward. "Then what am I supposed to do there?"
"Oh yeah, one more, Mira's message."
"What's? Mira's got a message?" The Japanese man looked back at me.
"Don't look for him. When you meet, ignore."
"What?" Ken looked over for the second time and was shocked. "What does it mean not to look for it? Does she have a boyfriend?"
Netra Gojo looks confused and Ken catches the irregularity.
"Tell me, what's wrong? Never in his whole life did he not want to be sought by me. Usually he comes first and teases me. You remember when I moved house with Jack back then, knowing he was past my house walking alone. Was that not intentionally teasing me and hoping I would look for it? It doesn't feel like that. You're kidding me, aren't you?"
But the one asked his face looked serious.
Ken is confused. "Gojo," he rebuked.
"But you can't look for him. You just do something else like work in a store or something, and if you meet him pretend not to know him, anything and wherever you see him, ok?" Gojo's face looked serious.
"What's this really about, Gojo?" Ken felt a mysterious alarming air.
"Please, Ken. This is my first assignment. Don't you get busted. I can't level this up."
The Japanese man touched Gojo's arm holding a horse's harness. "You know, even though Mira's job is to help me, but I'm a man in his position who should help a woman and always, when I'm with her I always obligate myself to do that. So don't argue with me if it's his problem. Let's say, what happened!"
Gojo threw a sideways glance in annoyance. He knew, if this was about Mira, the Japanese man would definitely be as stubborn as that. It's nothing, Gojo can feel the familiarity between the two and Ken has not met Mira for a long time because he had been in college for a semester, so it's natural when he delivered this news, the man was a little inflamed.
"It's definitely not a new boyfriend because Mira never betrayed me" the Japanese man murmured.
"E, betrayal?" What the hell does that mean?
Gojo looks doubtful. He actually had to do an order, but hearing this 'stonehead' talk, inevitably he shared the information he knew. "Mira came to this age hundreds of years ago after you got here, but she's stuck. So I had to take his place to save you from that bondage."
The Japanese man frowned. "stuck? Stuck what?"
This time Gojo did not dare to speak. He only dared to look at Ken's face with compassion.
"Say Gojo, what's he stuck in?" Ken's voice began to rise.
The Chinese man was only able to bow.
"Don't tell me SOMEONE SET HIM UP."
Gojo grunts violently.
"Gojo!" Suddenly flashed across Ken's head someone's face. "Lucille?"
"Look, maybe not as bad as you think ...."
"What is not. That fucking woman!" sniff the Japanese man.
"Maybe Mira can take care of it on her own without your help ...."
"Where possible! The last time the damsel stole his crystal ball, he cried! How could I leave him alone like that!" The Japanese man was getting angry.
"But maybe he can do it himself, and your help will just ruin his plan."
Ken wouldn't listen to the Chinese man's advice and even took over the reins of his horse. He tried to control the horse but could not. The horse is moving around.
"Gojo's! Horsemen to that town!" ken's orders.
Gojo frowning.
"Now!" tell the Japanese man firmly.
Gojo had to run his horse fast.
Ken was holding on to the horse's hair so as not to fall. "If something happens to Mira, you're responsible for everything!" yelled the Japanese again.
Gojo is speeding up his horse. The other travelers followed the man's horse.
----------+++----------
They finally reached the entrance of the city.
Ken got off the horse. "You coming, huh?"
"I'm done with my job, Ken."
"Just a second. Come with me for lunch, I'll buy you."
"With what? With the coin?" Gojo sighed. "Preferably don't use that money just yet. Here, I'll treat you." The man came down and pulled his horse. The other travelers also came down. They followed Gojo from behind.
They stepped along the large street in the crowd until they found a restaurant. They stopped and entered the restaurant.
"When viewed from their clothes, this is a long time past. Their clothing model is very simple" Ken said, looking around. That sizable restaurant, almost half of it has been filled.
A servant came to them. "What do you want to eat, sir?" ask him to Gojo because Gojo wears the best clothes.
The Chinese man looked around. "Oh, I order food like that guy and that," he said as he pointed at someone else's table that looked good.
The waiter recorded it. "Mmh, fine. I'll bring it." Then the waiter left.
