"I'm sorry, I didn't know you were in front of me" the old man said in a hoarse voice. He put his hands together in front of his face begging for mercy.
"Eh, no, Cake. Sorry, I was wrong. I didn't see that Grandpa wanted to pass in front of me. I'm sorry, Cake." Ken looked around and saw Grandpa's bowl that fell face down on the wooden floor. He took it and gave it to his grandfather. "This, Cake. Grandpa doesn't have a cane?" His net was still searching for the whereabouts of the grandfather's wand.
The old man nodded.
"Ah, let me buy you a stick, huh, Cake?"
But then the innkeeper prevented it. "No, Sir. Wh-wh-what for? The cane was expensive, and not suitable for a poor person like him. He should have a stick from dead tree branches, not like the one in the shops" he whispered.
"You can't talk like that, Li Nuo. Looks like this grandpa has no one to help him go anywhere."
"Eh, it's okay. Your intention alone, I've been very happy" said the grandfather. He tried to stand up and was helped by Ken.
The man was still staring at the grandfather. He wants to help her. Then he took the money out of the bag he was carrying. He gave all the money in the bag. "It's for Grandpa."
"Mr ...." Li Nuo gawking.
"Nope ...."
"It's okay, Cake," cut the short-haired man off. "Money can I find, but has Grandpa had breakfast? Buy food, Cake. Isn't that what you're looking for now? Money to buy food?"
"But that's the rest of the restaurant's shopping money?" sela Li Nuo, turned to Ken.
"Li Nuo's! Let's go home! The shopping is over so there's no need to talk anymore!" hardik the man who hung the long sword on his waist, was annoyed. He pulled the innkeeper into their cart.
"But, sir, how about Mr. Ejiro ask?"
"I'll pay with my salary later."
Ken had no idea, the grandfather netra glanced at him. Mmm, Japanese people who speak Chinese. Attractively.
Suddenly there was a commotion in the market not far from their wagon. The Japanese man wanted to see it, but it immediately prevented Li Nuo, his subordinate.
"Already, sir, don't look. It'll be a long time to go home, bother me. Mr. Ejiro must be nagging, sir if you don't get home on time."
Given the groceries awaited for the restaurant kitchen, Ken also followed Li Nuo's request. But it wasn't easy. They would not want to have to pass the place where the commotion took place if they want to return to the restaurant.
The cart passed through the place and they saw what happened.
A young man in expensive clothes, was insulting a female salesman to the point of ruining his wares. The young woman cried to the point of prostrating to the man asking for mercy.
Back the sight tickled Ken's pity on the woman. "Li Nuo, please stop the wagon."
"Sir, ck!" The Chinese man is forced to stop him because Ken is the boss. "Danger, Sir. Don't interfere."
"But men should know when to stop torturing women like that."
"Ck," grumbled Li Nuo.
Of course the man smiled wryly at Ken. "Know what you are, come and defend him! Do you know what's going on, umh?" He was annoyed with the new pretentious guy coming in.
"She seems to be apologizing to you, when you're still talking?"
the woman was still standing on her knees hoping that the man would end her, but it was quite surprising that a Japanese man had suddenly come to her aid.
The man laughed half ridiculously. "Did you know? He's a former servant in my house and he stopped without my permission, so now I want to bring him back to my house, so what's your business defending him?!" the rich man was upset.
The woman, who turned out to be beautiful in face, shook her head, even stood up and hid behind the Japanese man's back.
"Hey, step aside from the stupid Japanese, if you don't want to die silly in a country of people, understand?" The Chinese man warned as he puffed his chest towards him.
"No," Ken replied briefly. He answered without thinking twice.
The Chinese man was anxious because there were people who dared to oppose the acting child like him. Though hearing his name alone an ordinary person must be afraid, because he can easily put people into prison as he wishes.
He then took a plan to remove something from behind his hanfunya. A roll of tape. He throws it at Ken but is immediately slashed by the man's sword.
The Chinese man was furious. He took out another 4 rolls of tape and released it towards the Japanese man. Ken again slashed it many times until the ribbon became a small piece that flew in space.
"That's all?" the lead on the Chinese guy.
This made the rich man grow angry. His guards wanted to come forward to beat him up but were held back by the man. He now attacks Ken for the third time with another ribbon but this time more cleverly.
He took out two rolls of ribbon in hand and attacked the Japanese man, but when the Japanese man wanted to slash him, he could pull back the scroll and attack other places quickly. Ken was fooled to the point that his chest and arm were hit by the scroll. "ah! Uh!"
The Japanese man did not expect the deceptive attack to repulse himself because indeed the punch from the ribbon was so hard that he could feel the heat on his chest and arms.
The people watching began to retreat to distance those who were fighting martial arts. And so does that beautiful woman. Li Nuo who saw the incident hurriedly brought the wagon home and told Ejiro about the incident.
He is not to be blamed for neglecting duty and leaving Ken alone to fight the enemy. At least Ejiro would definitely help the short-haired man from the arrogant official's son.
The Chinese man added another ribbon in his hand into 4 rolls and started attacking Ken in two places, body and legs and that's not all. He attacked him with different attack styles. Sometimes soft, sometimes hard, sometimes eyeing the foot, sometimes eyeing the Japanese man's hand.
Ken survives, trying to guess which way the ribbon goes, but he has trouble because there are often attacks that outwit him several times he hit the ribbon. Lastly, one of the ribbons managed to tie his sword-grasping wrist, and forced it to come off.
"Uhh!"
Ken is very clever. He turned his hand and finally the ribbon could easily be slashed.
The Chinese man was not out of his mind. He took out a ribbon with an iron barbed tip. He again throws the scroll at Ken with unexpected attacks like that and Ken starts reading the pattern. Darling, he had to feel the pounding of the iron pendulum on some of his body before he could finally dodge. "ah! Uh! Uh!"
