They finally arrived at a hut house on the edge of the forest. The woman knocked on the door of the house until the occupants came out.
"Gojo's?" Ken's surprised.
The woman pushes the Japanese man's body violently towards the man in front of her until Gojo is forced to capture Ken's body. "Turn him, he's been interfering with my work!"
Ken recognized the voice even though it sounded a little firm. "Mira?" Just as he turned his head, the woman had already left by jumping on a tree. "Mira ...."
Gojo held the man.
"But Mira ...."
"You treat your hand first."
"Treating these hands is easy, but ...."
"Let me tell you where he lives. It's already night. You better treat your wounds first, and rest. You can see him tomorrow." Gojo's persuasion turned out to be powerful for Ken. The man dressed in black finally entered the house.
On a couch, while treating his own wounds with his other hand, Ken chatted with Gojo. The Japanese man felt that something had changed with the girl compared to the last time they met. Apparently, Mira had been there for two years. Ken had just been separated from her for a week. "Two years?"
"A lot's been going on and she's not what she used to be, Ken." Gojo's quiet bringing makes Ken and Mira
always be friends with this guy.
Other than Ken feeling like he had an older brother, this wave-haired man was very patient and clever at persuading.
"In addition to getting older of course," the Chinese man laughed loosely.
Ken, who had finished treating himself, asked again seriously, because he felt that the girl had changed more than just that. Mira is different. "Then what?"
Now Gojo began to show serious mimicry. "Are you sure you want to see him?"
"Why?"
"I'm afraid you're disappointed." The Chinese man narrowed his eyes.
"What's wrong with her?"
Gojo sighed softly. "Don't be too naive to remember the past, because some don't want to go back to the past by changing their present self."
"What are you talking about, Gojo? I don't understand." Ken took off the handkerchief hanging from his neck.
"Mira. Now he's a hit man."
"What?" Ken was shocked to hear that. He was silent for a moment. "You didn't lie, did you, Gojo?" The man tried to find the truth in both of his best friend's brown eye beads.
"I'm not lying, Ken. I'm here to look after him, make sure he's okay."
"Why didn't you stop him? What's the point of you being here?" Ken is getting angry. He was confused as to why his friend had let him.
"I've been advising him but if it's his choice, what can I do."
"Prevent! Ban him!" said Ken in flames.
The Chinese man still showed his calm face. "I'm afraid he's running. I was assigned Ejiro to look after her. After all, he got a great teacher so that his silat science increased quickly. So far no one has been able to beat him at the college where he studied. He was also his teacher's favorite student and the place was very difficult to get to, especially for you."
"Why is that?"
"Because it's a girls' college." Gojo laughed out loud.
"Gojo, I'm serious" Ken said.
"I'm serious too. No man can get in there but me. That is if there is anything important. That's why I live here."
This time the man dressed as the chef believed what his best friend had said.
"Yes, change your clothes first, or do you want to take a shower? The bathtub is outside."
Ken then took a shower and changed his clothes. Gojo had prepared a kimono for his friend.
"Where did you get this, Gojo?" The Japanese man noticed the clothes he was wearing.
"Oh, I just keep it."
The Japanese man glanced at his friend. He knew Gojo must have intended to keep the kimono for him. "Thank you, Gojo."
"Mmh, good night."
That morning, Ken just found out that Gojo is smart to cook. He even ate Chinese food made by the man. "Where did you learn to cook?"
"I don't like eating out. So expect to find a wife who can cook at home or me who cooks for myself." The long-haired man chewed for a while. "Yes, the effect of staying alone for long." He laughed. "Don't you want to get married, Ken?"
"But I don't have a boyfriend."
"Not the girl you like?" Gojo scoops his nasi.
"Me, my mind is full of Mira lately, so I haven't had a chance to look."
Gojo nodded. "Or maybe you've found it but didn't realize?"
"You mean?"
"Mh, do you know what it's like to be in love?"
"No," Ken replied innocently. "What kind of an adventure?"
"Mk." The Chinese man began to describe it with a distant look. "Maybe when you talk to him, you feel nothing but pleasure, but when he touches you ...." He hung his sentence.
"Yes?" Ken is still curious.
"Your heart is talking."
"What?"
Gojo pretended not to care and kept eating. Ken's speechless. He had felt this moment before when Mira was drying her hair and when ....
"Early?" ask Gojo suddenly.
"Eh, never ...." But the Japanese man's face was red. It's been a mistake. There's no way that's. Mira is my sister. My little sister and I love her so much because .. she is my little sister.
"Oh yes, I remember when we went to the palace****Lord******Z that time. There was something I wanted to tell you, but given your condition back then, I kept this information from you."
"What information?" Ken returned the rice to his mouth.
"About Lucille's description at the time. Do you believe that Lord Z killed Yumi?"
"'Can't say so."
"But how? The knife was in Yumi's body."
"'Can't you right?" the Japanese man said again.
"I mean, then who killed Lord Z? Lucille made a different statement after that. He said Yumi killed herself so Lucille could kill Lord Z. Don't you feel weird about those words?"
Ken began to realize Gojo's remarks. He who was then shaken did not realize the words of the woman were actually contradictory to each other and no one realized it at that moment.
"If it was Lucille who killed Lord Z, why would her dagger be on Yumi?"
"Oh, maybe he killed Lord Z with another knife." Ken was a little relieved, he could deduce it perfectly.
"No, both of them died by the same dagger."
"How can you say that, Gojo?"
"My sense of smell can't be lied to." You can test that knife. There must be 2 blood stains from different humans. Also I smell Lucille left behind in those two daggers."
"So what do you think happened?"
"Lucille killed both."
Ken rolled his eyes. For a moment he was at a loss for words until he could finally speak. "Be careful, Gojo. This is a heinous accusation!" He doesn't even know how to express emotions. Had Gojo's accusation been true ....
"My sense of smell cannot be proved by any means, but if you believe in my words ...."
Ken's hard to believe, but he's trying to see the truth. What if this is reality?
