Find Me in 1000 Years

Find Me in 1000 Years
Hiding Place

The man in shabby clothes started to enter the forest. He jumped from tree to tree like a bird. He stomps on branches and twigs easily without fear of falling or breaking. Though he was carrying Ken which means his body weight is not light.

Ken realizes he is being kidnapped by a man with very high martial arts. There's no way he could escape from her, but the question is, why did this man kidnap her? What does that man want from her?

He could no longer see Ejiro, meaning the man failed to catch up to him. He's resigned.

During the trip, he tried to enjoy by looking at the scenery that passed by him. It is different to see things from a different point of view. From above he sees people who are busy with their own activities. Exactly like looking from the 2nd floor, but this difference is even higher. It is like taking a low-flying plane. Moreover, the atmosphere of the morning made him able to see more people on the streets.

When entering the forest, a breeze and cool greeted him with an occasional look at the animals that inhabit the forest. There were birds shocked to see them passing near their nests or to see a group of monkeys hanging and surprised to see them passing by. He also saw the fish from above as it passed through the small lake. Everything looks cool in the eye.

Yet another when they stopped at the lip of the abyss. The man in shabby clothes was silent for a moment.

"Sir, we're not going downstairs, are we?" Ken asked doubtfully.

"Why not?"

The short-haired man was in shock as the man leaped into the deep abyss while jumping over the slightly protruding ravine wall until he reached the top of a tall tree. From there the man jumped from tree to tree. The scene was truly terrifying but the man did it lightly.

They went back through the trees and found a big hole in the ground. The man went back down the hole and Ken saw a beautiful view underneath. A land with a lake beside it. It's really amazing.

There was a hut on the ground and the man took Ken there. After entering, he placed the man tied up on a cot. He himself rested in a chair not far from it.

Ken turned his gaze around the room. The house is made of solid wood. The hut house was not too big but the lighting was lacking. Maybe because it is located in the hole so it looks dimly lit.

Suddenly the short-haired man's stomach rang. The man in the shabby shirt laughed. "You gave me money to eat, but you haven't eaten yourself" he said in Japanese. He came back laughing.

"You ... do you speak Japanese?" ask Ken for wonder.

"Yes, of course, because I'm Japanese."

The short-haired man noticed the man. If the attention is deeper, the man looks more like a Japanese than a Chinese but how can he? He even has Chinese students!

The man in shabby clothes came to the young man's bed. He then sat Ken down and opened a thread of silkworms on the skinny man's body. "Now you have to call me, 'Sensei'. Starting tomorrow we'll practice breathing to store and expend energy in."

"Huh?" The young man did not understand. "You mean, I'm your student, right?"

"Yes, because I chose you."

Ken smiled broadly with half a heart.

Now the shabby-clothed man was astonished to see Ken's slightly different face. "Why?"

"I never asked, why did you suddenly say I'm a disciple of the Father?"

The man dressed in shabbiness then stopped untying him. "Therefore I kidnapped you here. You can't choose!" He took that bond back.

Ken's smile disappeared, frowning. "That's cheating on his name. I didn't do anything bad to you."

"There's."

"What?"

"You lost my student."

"It was you who killed him" said the young man.

"But because of a fight with you."

Ken is getting whimpery. "Father cheated, just like his student."

"What did you say?" The eyes of the shabby-clothed man glared.

"Eh, no." Ken lazyly quarreled with that stubborn man.

"It's a Bakpao, I bought it in the market." The shabby-clothed man took out 2 large Bakpaos from behind his clothes and something wrapped in leaves. "It's Onigiri(a Japanese-style rice head) too."

The hungry Ken of course saw it tastefully, but before he could reach it, the shabby-clothed man pulled him back.

"Call me, 'Sensei'."

"What rules are they?"

"My rules, for living in my house."

"I didn't ask to come here" said Ken fiercely.

"Am I a child to be persuaded by food?" The young man folded his hands on his chest while still frowning.

"really? It's delicious!" The man in shabbily clothes teased her again.

Ken had to swallow his saliva because he saw the man bite the bakpao with a happy face.

"Mmh, delicious. Right, you don't want to?"

The young man threw his hand forward in annoyance. "Why didn't you ask me first? Why would you kidnap me?"

"Do you want to come to my place like this?"

Ken rolled his eyeballs looking around. "No."

"Well, my guess is correct, right?"

"But still, this is the imposition of his name!" The young man spoke again fiercely.

"When it's for the best, why not?"

"What's the best?"

"I chose you. Aren't you flattered to hear that?"

"No."

"Why?"

"Because I'm studying somewhere else too, but that's not the point. If you want a student, you can open Silat College or Martial Arts, you can even have many students, again. Why force others to be your students when others don't want to? You're just troubling yourself, don't you know that?"

"Are you not going to?" asked the shabby-clothed man, curious.

"No."

"Even if I'm the number one hero in the world?"

"Ck, this Father."

The man in shabby clothes thrust his Bakpao at Ken. "Try thinking about my offer. A lot of people want to be my students!" persuade again.

"Then why not just them" said Ken while biting his Bakpao.

"But they're not Japanese."

"So you chose me because I'm Japanese?"

"Yes. That was my wish for a long time."

"Father'll be able to find somewhere else or go back to Japan."

"The thing is I like living here but I want to have Japanese students."

"That's not a name to trouble yourself, sir?" Ken glanced at the man annoyed.

"Eh, not hard. I've found you" said the shabby-clothed man confidently.

Ken was really upset. "Mr ...."

"Already, don't call me, 'Sir'. Call me, 'Sensei'." The man in shabby clothes got up. "Where is that going?"

Ken patted his forehead dizzy from talking to the stubborn man. The man's request was overrated.

"Meow." The sound of cats meowing. The young man looked. A cat entered the house.

The man dressed in shabbiness then carried her. "Suchan, are you looking for me?" he said softly to the white cat.

How is this cat here?
