"Him?" ken and Freya said simultaneously while pointing at each other.
Don chuckled back. "Looks like you guys would fit in with each other."
The Japanese man only glanced at the girl at a glance, but Freya looked at Ken with a frown.
"Where can he be a bodyguard? Caught by Papa's bodyguard he's not struggling," ledek the girl. "I was thinking, he's the one who shot Papa yesterday."
"Oh, no. It was precisely he who helped Papa yesterday from the bad boy, because he dared to hit the bad guy and take Papa away with a motorbike."
The girl glanced at Ken with an incredulous look. "Why not lie, right?"
"Papa always wants to give you the best, baby. Don't you not like big bodyguards with fierce faces?"
The girl again noticed Ken even though the Japanese man was careless to be noticed like that from earlier.
Mmh, you think I want to be a bodyguard girl as talented as you, inner Ken.
"But I'm sure, other than guts, she can't do anything" said the girl.
"In fact, he works in a circus. Must be a lot of noise."
Netra the black-haired bule girl glanced back at him, and snorted in annoyance. "As for Papa," he broke up later. The girl also came out of the room.
"Well, you heard me, didn't I mean to bring you here?" don asked the Japanese man.
"But I think you chose the wrong people. I'm just the oddball worker at the circus, sir. My job right now is to help replace one of the injured acrobats. Outside of that, I'm still a new person there."
"What's your job there?"
"Sometimes help sell, but yesterday I helped the acrobat team over there become clowns."
The middle-aged man held back a laugh. "Oho. Clowns huh? It doesn't really matter what you did before. Doesn't everyone want to have a job that can raise their level?"
"Yes, I understand, sir, but I can't accept your offer."
"Why? His salary is even greater than your salary working there."
"I still owe them."
Don frowned. "What debt?"
"I've broken their rules that I didn't actually do, but because they didn't believe me, I was forced to work there so I could pay my debts so I wouldn't go to jail."
"Pay a fine, you mean? How many?"
Ken shakes. "I don't know."
"What did you break?"
"I actually kicked out the little boy who was watching the circus by peeking, and I accidentally saw what the kids actually saw, but they still think I'm peeping. So I had to work there to pay the fine or they'd put me in jail."
The man was silent for a moment. This man is too honest, he avoids the court when he could have escaped and found not guilty because actually the mistake he did was not heavy. No court would take care of things like this. It's just circus wits willing to take advantage of it. "Where are your parents?"
"I'm an orphan, sir."
"Oh." He glanced at the man. "Do you not want to work for me, because you can have a decent salary."
"Actually you were lied to by the circus. Nothing because of watching their free shows, you suddenly go to jail."
Ken flabbergasted. He looks confused.
"I can help you get out of them, but in exchange, do you want to help me become my son's bodyguard? I'm not paying you cheap either."
Ken was silent, still in shock. Seeing that Don glanced at the hand of the Japanese man who was still tied up. He pulled the knot. "I can trust you, can't you just walk away from me?"
The rope also came off.
"Today I'll take care of it, so wait for me. You can go back to your room right now," throw the man out with a gesture of his hand.
Ken could say nothing but salute with a slight bow. He then left accompanied by one of the bodyguards waiting for them there.

Don now sits opposite Lucille and Bill while he takes his lawyer. He looks relaxed while Bill looks annoyed at the woman. "I don't understand how you guys recruit employees, but frankly what you're doing is cheating. You tricked a poor, orphaned man just so he could work with you. Is it not low? Threatening that he's going to jail? Where are there such rules?"
"So what do you want from us?" asked Lucille with a cold face.
"Take him off. Let him go."
"The one who suggested working in this circus was her own."
"Because you tricked him, didn't you? For years I was ridiculed as a lowly human being but it turns out that there are people who look good as well as his efforts, instead of committing crimes behind. What difference does it make, you and me?"
Bill cleared his throat making everyone turn to him. "May I ask, does Ken want to work with you?"
"Oh, of course. I offered him this good job. He was still shocked to learn he was tricked by the owner of this circus," said the middle-aged man slightly insinuated the woman.
"If Ken likes his job, that's okay. I'll take it off."
"Bill!" shout Lucille. Now the woman is upset at the bule man.
"Why? He's not tied to us? He doesn't owe me either."
Lucille's face looked sour.
"Regarding the losses incurred, certainly not much, 'will he only work as a clown." Don added.
"Oh, don't get me wrong. Indeed Ken replaced one of our circus performers but his position is not arbitrary. The clown was the most senior position, actually in the circus and Ken only absorbed about 40% of the clown's science. He can just get into aerial acrobatics and it's not just anyone can and he can do it in just 2 weeks. Even at his age, he was too old to learn this."
Don was surprised to hear that.
"I had an ambition to teach him magic and everything else but given the obscure circus salary, I was resigned to it if he wanted to work with you. She deserves a better life considering she also takes care of her sister elsewhere."
"His sister? She got a sister?" ask Don in shock.
"Yes. That's why if he's looking for money for his sister, I'm very, very familiar."
Don glanced at Lucille who looked sullen as he chatted with Bill. For the first time, he and Bill agree on one thing, Ken. "Eh, but of course I won't harm you. Since I took one of your employees, I'll pay for the compensation." He looked at the man next to him.
The man placed the square bag he had been carrying on the table. He's opening. The contents were full of sealed banknotes, leaving Bill and Lucille shocked.
"This is the money for the change. Everything is for you guys."
