Find Me in 1000 Years

Find Me in 1000 Years
Journey

As Mira packs up, Ken tries to find a gap. "Can I come?"

"For what? After all, this marriage is closed only to the palace and the family. What would they say, if a person who had no blood relation to him participated? I was lazy to make up stories and this could have affected their engagement. Please, just pray for Mira's happy marriage from afar."

"Eh, yeah." Ken finally gave up disappointed. Besides, it doesn't feel like he's gonna be able to see Mira with someone else. Hearing the news from Ejiro alone, it was enough to make his knees limp, let alone see the woman happy with another man.

It is only now realized how much he loves Mira, but maybe he can step over his position as the older sister, plus Mira may have rejected him. Should he be a coward like Yumi did to him? In addition to fear of rejection, he is also afraid of losing Mira.

The woman finally came out with a cloth containing her clothes. He walked slowly and heavily towards his half-brother.

"Come, Mira. We're going." Ejiro opened the door and went towards where his horse was resting. It turned out that he had prepared another horse to ride the younger brother. He rode his horse and waited for his brother to ride. The man also holds a horse harness for Mira. "Come on!" call him impatient.

Gojo approached the horse reserved for the woman while Mira seemed to wait for an unachievable miracle. The Japanese man was silent.

"Sir Ken, I'm leaving" the woman recalled.

Ken just stared at the woman's departure. Mira approached her horse but did not board.

"Mira!" Ejiro.

Suddenly the woman turned her head and ran towards the Japanese man to Ken's surprise. "I want to say goodbye" he said, looking intently at the two men's eyes.

"Oh." Ken's tongue is slurred. "Se—"

Instantly the woman leaned forward and tiptoed. He kissed the man's lips. Of course Ken was shocked, but before he could speak, Mira had turned around and rushed to leave him. The woman rode a horse with Gojo's help. Ejiro just glanced at Ken at a glance and went to bring his sister.

Gojo and Ken stared at the departure of the two as dusk was almost over. The light felt miserable, as if it wanted to disappear. When Gojo looked back it turned out that the Japanese man had entered the house.

Seeing Ken who had laid his body on the couch near the dining table, did not seem to want to talk to. Gojo who did not want to interfere too much, finally went to the room.

Just half an hour into the room, the door was knocked on. Who else if not the former Japanese boss. "just enter. 'Can usually be that." Now the gentleman stared at the door as Ken stepped in.

"I want you to answer my question honestly" said the Japanese man with a serious face.

"I'll always be honest with you" Gojo said casually.

"Did I go crazy falling in love with Mira?"

The gondrong man snorted softly. "Indeed you've fallen in love with her, Ken," he said, sitting on a bed leaning against a wall.

"Does it look obvious?"

"Why indeed?"

"I am his sister."

"Then why weren't you invited by Ejiro?"

"Our money is also very far away. I used to carry it when I was a kid." The Japanese man's fierce gaze showed how frustrated he was right now.

Gojo cleared his throat for a while, then folded his hands on his chest. "Actually you two have no problem. There are blood brothers who fall in love, especially those who do not. Regarding the age difference is also not important as long as you both love each other."

"That's one of them. Does Mira love me? What if it doesn't? I'm gonna lose my sister." Ken's face looks crumpled.

Ken began to be able to see what Gojo said. Why is he so afraid of losing because in the end he has lost. Before the gondrong man finished talking, Ken ran outside. He heard her voice screaming as she opened the front door. "Thank you, Gojo. You are my best friend!" There was the sound of the door closing.

Gojo sighed while lowering his hand. Back he was alone left Ken. "Yes," he murmured alone.

I heard the door re-opened. "Gojo, I borrowed your horse!"

"Yes, just take it!" the man shouted from inside the room.

Then, there. Ken chases Ejiro without knowing where to go. He had wondered but in the end needed help and who else could help him besides Gojo. He finds a dog on the street that turns out to be his best friend, Gojo.

"I know you'd be lost without me" said the gentleman, proud.

Ken took her along, riding a horse. It took them several days to ride a horse until they reached the Han king's palace. They claimed to be a group of Ejiro family who were asked to come, so that he could enter the palace.

As he entered the palace, Ken saw Mira running around in a long green robe down the stairs. The woman was shocked when she saw the man coming there. "Sir Ken?"

"Mira ...."

"Mira," call Ejiro from the side. It turns out that the woman tried to escape but instead met Ken and found out his half-brother.

"Eh, who is he?" Apparently the king came out and met them all.

"Oh, king." Ejiro bowed in respect. "Eh, he's still my family" he said he had to lie.

Ken got down with the dog and handed it to Mira. "I came with this gift. He can accompany you when you're lonely."

Mira was moved and accepted the gift. He was moved with teary eyes because the man came looking for him, though he did not know what would happen next. The woman clutched the dog Ken gave her tightly.

"Sst, it's me, Gojo" whispered the dog in Mira's ear. That woman is so happy. "Oh, I'm so happy. Thank you, Brother Ken."

The king came down to Ken. "Oh, are you his family too?"

"Oh, yes, right. Mira and I grew up together since childhood before Mira finally met her brother, Ejiro." Ken glanced at Mira's brother who looked furious.

Suddenly a handsome man in the Imperial robe came and chased after Mira with his firm steps. "Mi La, where have you been? I've been looking for you, honey." He held the woman's hand up, and pulled her with him.

Mira could only glance at Ken who was silent but his eyes were unceasingly staring at the woman, who was taken away by the prince.

"Then, I'll invite you to their wedding tomorrow. How's it?" ask King Han of Japan.

"Oh, thank you." Ken smiled. That smile he looked at Ejiro who was frowning. He was invited by the King himself. The man got a room to stay in the palace. This opportunity will not be wasted.
