Find Me in 1000 Years

Find Me in 1000 Years
New Place

"Have you found the place I asked for?" The man listened for a moment and then replied back. "OKs. Send the address and map. Let me find that place." He closed his HP.

Not long heard the notification on the man's phone. He checked it immediately.

"Dad!" The young man came. "I'm hungry."

Jack smiled as he rubbed Ken's head. "Yes, we eat." They stepped into the car.

"Where's your cat?" ask the man.

"That's it, Dad." Ken pointed to the back. A black white male cat followed the young man from behind.

"Come, we'll eat first." Jack grabbed the young man's shoulder.

------------+++-----------

Ken looked around. His area was in a densely populated area, not a residential complex like before, so much he could see. Small houses, large houses, restaurants, workshops, laundry, shops and so on so the young man was busy looking around until the car stopped in front of a large house fence. The man went down and opened the fence.

There was a man who came to greet them as he sat on the porch. He then handed Jack a key. Ken went down with his cat and accidentally looked back. He saw a girl whose face was so familiar, walking alone. He glanced at Ken then pretended not to know and continued to leave.

"Mira ...," the young man muttered.

The cat turned his head because he heard what Ken said. He was of course surprised, how the young man could get to know the girl, while they had just moved out of the city that was very far from where they had previously lived. Does this guy move house often?

Ken just followed the girl without a second thought. He touched the girl's hand because he was so sure of what he saw.

"You live in this area?"

"Yes," replied the girl smiling at the foreskin.

"Hey, look. I got a funny cat." Ken showed me his cat with thick hair.

"Yes, funny. Uh, but I'm sorry, I'm working?" The two-headed girl turned in a laundry shop.

The young man just kept quiet and looked at the shop. Jack of course saw Ken following the girl. Just this time he did not rebuke her, because the young man's eyes were on the girl who looked different. He called out to her after Ken had stood there for so long without doing anything. "Kenzie!"

The young man looked up and rushed over. "Sorry, Dad."

"Mk."

--------+++---------

"Dad." Ken approached the bule man by leaning his body forward. He's a little agitated. "May I have some pocket money?"

"What?" Jack, who had just finished his dinner, rubbed his mouth with a napkin, and highlighted the young man's face meticulously. Not that he did not want to give, but Ken who never had a problem because he never held the money suddenly asked for pocket money, and it sounded strange. He immediately knew what the money was for but pretended not to know. "For what?"

"Well, I'm an adult. I want to try buying anything myself and want to have friends out there."

"Mk."

"Yeah ...."

"What's that girl who works at the laundry you call a friend?"

"Well, I'm a man who needs a friend."

"Is your cat not enough to be a friend?"

"I'm a human, yes his human friend also dong, Well," said Ken remembered the words Gojo at that time.

"So you don't need that cat anymore?"

"Eh, it's not, Dad." Ken immediately grabbed the man's hand. "Humans are social beings who are friends with anyone." He tried to correct his sentence.

The man smiled broadly. "You're getting good at talking now, aren't you?"

"Dad ..," whine Ken.

The young man looked pleased with a big smile.

----------+++----------

Ken peeked out of the window accompanied by the cat. The cat meowed at the young man until the young man realized he had ignored him. Ken crouched down and grabbed the cat. "I'm sorry, but I'm waiting for him to come out. It's important."

He soon saw the girl coming out of the store. Hurriedly he ran towards the stairs and down, then opened the door and rushed out. He tried to get to the girl who passed by his house. "Mira ...."

The girl had already seen Ken coming.

The young man tried to line up the girl's steps from the side. "You want to go home?"

"Yes." Yeah."

The black-and-white cat was staring from across the street that wasn't too big. So is that girl really called Mira? So he doesn't look like anyone but they already know each other. This tease makes it harder for me because Jack doesn't seem to know Mira, so where exactly does Ken know him? Why one more person who is suspicious? The cat scratched his ears.

"Have you had dinner yet?" ask Ken again.

"Not yet."

"I'll buy, will you? In front of the restaurant is a fast food. We're eating burgers, yuk?"

"Can."

The cat crossed over and followed Ken. The young man immediately carried her. Not being able to bring animals into the restaurant, Mira waits for Ken to order food at the outdoor table with the cat. He couldn't believe Ken could keep that cute cat with him. The cat was in his arms because he was happy.

The young man came with their orders. "Here, sorry for long."

"Where did you get this cat?"

"The forest."

"Times?"

"Nobody believes it, even the people who live in the forest say so but it's true, this cat emerged from the forest. I think only Jack believes it because he saw it for himself."

"Jack who's your father?"

"Yes." Yeah." The young man sat down and divided their food.

The cat was stunned to hear the conversation of the two. 'Who is a father?' He called his father 'Jack'? What the hell does that mean?

After dinner, Ken drove Mira who lived in a boarding house not far from there and went home. Jack who was waiting in the living room had made sure the young man returned home safely. He felt relieved.

"Night, Father," said the young man cheerfully.

"Night."

Ken went into the room and put the cat on the bed. He climbed into the bed and played with the cat for a while. But then he had a grim face. "My father-given money is over. How can I buy it tomorrow." He muttered to himself and turned to the cat, then grabbed it.

"Do I have to work? But I won't let you." The young man sighed. "Do I have to open up savings? But people will be suspicious. How can I have more money?" He looked at the cat. "Mmh?"

He looked at the cat with the fur on the animal's face. He covered the cat's face. "If you could talk ..." he said anxiously and hugged the cat again, now he turned to look at his palm.

He was silent for a moment. Then he flipped his hand and clapped the other. When it was opened, there was a coin on top of his hand and it was made of gold.

The cat was surprised. Can he be magic? The cat's eyes did not blink.

Ken took the coin and looked at the piece for a moment. He then put it back into the palm of his hand by thrusting it like a piggy bank. The coin disappeared. "Ah, not yet."

The cat gawked!
