Find Me in 1000 Years
Policeman

"You're not angry, are you, if you don't give me new clothes?" Mom looked at Ken who was tidying up her hair.

"Mmh?"

"You'll have to wear those clothes to facilitate the investigation."

"Eh, yes, Mom." Though Ken was not at home to change clothes because he had been days since the plane crashed, he had not cleaned himself and changed clothes. Therefore, he wanted to rush to his destination and complete his task just so that he could take a bath and change clothes.

"Remember ya? Don't call me, 'Mother'. Call 'Your Majesty' when you come out."

"Yes." Yeah."

"Don't tell just anyone about who you are, okay?"

"Yes." Yeah." Ken, who was layman about this matter, could only agree.

The woman approached Ken and grabbed his head while peeping. "That's Mom's new son."

Ken feels strange to have parents who are inversely proportional to what he ever imagined. His gentle father who never said rude even though he was yelled at, and a mother who was sometimes soft and sometimes rough depending on his mood when talking.

Even so, he is grateful to have parents who care about him even though they are out of expectations, not normal families in general.

Ken is now riding a different horse than the one his mother was riding. Even so, it was his mother who ran her horse from the side by holding the rope of his control.

Ken's heart is beating fast. He is a little nervous about going up against a lot of people with agreed scenarios.

Sure enough, as the goddess said that morning there were already some people from the officer who had started searching for the remains of the corpse and looking for the possibility for the living. Their arrival from far away was already a common concern.

The officers immediately gathered to see a horde of Mongols coming at them. Surely that arrival also marked Ken who was dressed differently. Of course they've been wondering what this is really about.

Ken's in front with mom. When he arrived, a bodyguard came forward with his horse and told him about the reason for their arrival. Ken was later demoted.

After he saluted his mother, he went to the officer. The officers and Ken then saw the departure of the Mongols to a safe distance, only after that they began to busy asking the man questions.

"Are you right, the only survivor of this Indian Air ship?"

"Why did you meet the Mongol King?"

"Why can't we find you?"

"Why did you survive?"

Flocked to such questions, Ken just gawked. He doesn't know whose question to answer. Finally an officer took the initiative to bring the man to the city for health checks.

Ken was taken down from the hill and drove into town in a car.

"Include my name Asraf" he said as he drove the car, thrusting his hand and shaking hands. "I'm from the red cross team and will take you to the hospital for a check-up, but weird too huh? It's like you weren't hurt at all by the accident." The man scanned Ken's body at a glance.

"I'm Ken. I wonder why I can still live when others lose their lives, but I'm grateful to be given the opportunity to tell you what happened. I was lightly wounded but was briefly cared for by the King. After that, he released me."

They arrived at a large hospital. There are already some journalists who are eyeing the news. Seeing the state of Ken in a slightly shabby shirt coming with a member of the red cross, they were curious and tried to approach.

Asraf is easily recognized as a member of the red cross because of his clothes. He tried to avoid them when the reporters came to them. The reporters were forced to leave, as Asraf and Ken entered a heavily guarded hospital with guards.

Ken gets intensive treatment, a full-body check and an X-ray. After being declared healthy he was taken again to the hotel by officers from the red cross.

"The mayor wants to meet with you" Asraf said.

"Right, but I don't have proper clothes."

"Ok, don't worry. I'll bring it to you. Uh, this hotel is paid for by Mr. Mayor and you'll also be invited to an interview for TV."

"Oh, so."

"Eh?" Oya, family. What am I supposed to say?

"Where does my father live? Maybe I can call your family."

"Oh, I'm just an orphan." Ken started his first lie.

"Oh, really? Sorry I didn't know. Oya, your job?"

"Oh, it's, uh, learning to be a businessman."

"Oh, so. What business is it?"

"Oh, uh." What do I have to answer? Gosh darn. Suddenly Ken's stomach rang. "Oh, sorry, I can't think because my stomach is hungry." He rubbed his stomach.

The man smiled. "Oh, please order. You don't have to be sad." He gave Ken the menu book inside the hotel room.

"Thank you." Ken picked up the recommended menu book.

"Oh, yeah. I went out to prepare her clothes. Looks like standard size, huh?" The man scanned Ken's body again.

The Japanese man examined his body. "Yes, that's it."

"Ok, I'm out. Please if someone knocks on the door, check first by peering out of the door. If it's not me, don't open it?"

"Oh, yeah. Thank you." Thank you."

The man also left. Ken then ordered some food, although it was not time for lunch. I'm getting hungry. Lunch is still .... He looked at the clock on the table. Half an hour, huh! The man took off the sleeveless sweater he was wearing leaving behind a shirt that had been tangled and dusty.

An hour later the man returned when Ken began to fall asleep after lunch. " This is the dress you asked for."

"Oh, thank you. I wanted to take a shower because I haven't had a shower in days." Ken rubbed his eyelids.

The man laughed. "Yes, later tonight you will be interviewed by television and also met with Mr. Mayor at the same place. It will be about seven o'clock in the evening. Then, soon the police will come here to ask for information about the accident."

"Oh yeah? Then I should hurry up and take a shower." The Japanese man hurriedly grabbed the newly brought clothes and half ran over to the bathroom.

There remained Asraf who was smiling looking at the Japanese man who was panicking like a child and then went to the bathroom.

When Ken came out, he found Asraf talking to someone.

"Oh, he's out, sir. This is the man I mean," Asraf told the two policemen.

"Oh, noon," said one of the policemen.

"Siang" said Ken. He then gave information about how his plane rolled up in a storm and he survived. The police were surprised to hear it.

"Great. You can think up to it, at such a time, absolutely amazing, sir. I guess if I was in the position of Father, not necessarily I can think to that extent, sir. You're really clever," praise one of the cops who's a higher rank than his friend.

"Ah, not really," replied Ken lowly.

"Then you were saved by the Mongol king? That's a rare opportunity, sir. Whatever you talk to him, because frankly it is difficult to be with the man, because he is often moving and very difficult to approach. Mr. Mayor who wants to meet him until now is still not done."

"Eh, but I fainted when I fell in a storm and woke up with a fever. After recovery they immediately handed me over to the rescue workers." Ken is lying.

It was hard at first for Ken to lie, but he had to. This is to protect the Yeti. And again, he must begin to be adept at doing so because in the future he will often do this in order to hide his true identity.
