The next day, Irgi kept his word. Early in the morning, the man had already come to meet Arumi with a packet of food that he was holding in his right hand. The man smiled sweetly which only greeted Arumi with a look of dislike.

"What else are you doing here ?" Arumi has a chest. Looking at Irgi with cynicism.

"Want to see you ! What else is ?" The man shrugged his shoulders while putting the parcel he was carrying on Arumi's desk.

"Can't Brother Irgi knock on the door before entering ?"

"For what ? You definitely wouldn't open it if I did that, Aru !" Irgi still sows a sweet smile. Unpacked the food he brought and gave the contents to Arumi. There's a glass of warm coffee and a piece of red velvet. He offered it to Arumi.

"Eat !" irgi Pinta.

"I'm not hungry" said Arumi who then returned to focus on the sketch of the design he was making.

"Aru ! I know you haven't had breakfast ! Eat a little bit !" please Irgi with a clear tone.

Arumi sighed. The girl put back the pencil she was using to draw and stared intently at Irgi who was sitting opposite her.

"I told you I'm not hungry, sister !" arumi repeated her words.

Irgi slid his back on the back of the chair behind him. Disappointed again he had to swallow roundly when rejection became a reward for his efforts and hard work in getting Arumi's trust back. Irgi heartache. However, he also understood that his past sins against Arumi were indeed too great. It was only natural that Arumi still put her heartache on her. But, it's okay. Irgi will keep trying until the love he once had for her grows back in Arumi's heart.

"All right ! If you don't want to eat yet, keep it ! I'll be at the office soon ! Take good care of yourself !" Irgi stood up and stroked Arumi's head.

Meanwhile, Arumi was silent. Receiving Irgi's gentle treatment now meant nothing to him. If only Irgi was as gentle and attentive as this to her when they were still husband and wife, surely Arumi would be very happy. However, darling. Now it's all over. For the girl, Irgi's treatment like this will not be able to change the direction of her heart back who had already moved away.

"Uncle Xander ! Uncle !" Claire screams like an outcast as soon as she walks into the Wellington mansion.

Ronald and Frederick came out together and looked at each other in wonder when they met Claire in the living room with a messy face and appearance. I don't know what just happened to him.

"Jane ? What are you gonna do here ?" Frederick approached and looked at Claire full of questions.

"Where is Uncle Xander ? I want to see him !" said Claire who tried to break through to Duke Xander's study but was immediately arrested by Ronald.

"You can't just walk in, Miss !" ronald said firmly while holding both arms of Claire who was still trying to break through.

"Take me off ! I want to talk to Uncle Xander !" claire's screaming hysterically.

Duke Xander who was working on some files in his study suddenly stopped and decided to get out after the commotion Claire did sounded into the room. Duke Xander stepped quietly with both hands clutched behind his back approaching Claire. It seems that he had predicted that the former daughter-in-law would come here.

Ronald and Frederick quickly turned around and found Duke Xander already behind them. Ronald immediately bowed respectfully and then did what his master asked. He took off Claire's hand and took two steps back from where she was standing.

"What are you here for ?" Duke Xander looked at Claire.

"Uncle ! Why did Uncle cancel my marriage to Leon ? Didn't Uncle promise me that marriage will only be postponed until Leon is healed ? Then, why did Uncle change his mind now ?" attack Claire blindly. The girl was frustrated and lost her way as her dreams were shattered when her parents told her that Duke Xander did not want to continue with the wedding plans anymore.

"Why don't you ask your dad yourself, Jane ?" Duke Xander raised next to his brows. The man took a leisurely step and landed his butt on the sofa of his mansion's soft living room.

"My dad ? What does Uncle ?" mean ?" arumi insisted she did not understand.

Duke Xander called out to Ronald by waving his hand. The butler immediately approached and brought his ears closer when Duke Xander gave a code that he wanted to whisper something important. Before long, Ronald looked mangosteen and walked quickly into Duke Xander's study.

A minute later, the butler returned with a brown envelope in his hand. He handed the envelope to Duke Xander and stood up next to Duke Xander.

Duke Xander took out the contents of the envelope and threw it on the table. There are several photos and company report files. Claire immediately grabbed the photos along with the company's report and read them carefully.

"Uncle ! What the fuck is this ?" claire panicked.

"That's all the evidence that your father sold my company secrets to my business rivals. He even planned to take over the company I'd been guarding for generations right when you married my son. Do you think it's forgivable, Jane ?"

"Impossible, Uncle ! My father's company is no less big than the Uncle company ! It's impossible if my father can act so evil on Uncle !" talk to Claire quickly.

"You don't know yet that your father's company is on the verge of collapse apparently," Duke Xander sneered faintly.

Claire retreated upon hearing Duke Xander's words. He never knew about it all this time.

"You better go home, Jane ! I'm grateful I just canceled your marriage to Leon instead of putting your father in jail."

"Don't, Uncle ! Please !" Hearing the word prison made Claire even more shocked.

"Then, just accept my decision and look for your happiness out there !"

Claire shook her head hard. He doesn't want to do what Duke Xander asks because for Claire, he's happy just to be with Leon.

"No. I don't want to leave Leon, Uncle !" Claire was crying sobbing.

"Unfortunately, you must ! Or, your pictures with the guy you used to meet at the apartment and at the hotel will be shared" Duke Xander said.

Claire huffed for a moment. He did not believe that his stealth action found his mistress was discovered by Duke Xander. Right now, there's nothing else Claire can do. The only way to keep the scandal unraveling is to let Leon go. Above all, Claire's career was still at the top of the girl's heart.
