Arumi sat on a hospital iron bed with a wrist that had been sewn by a doctor. The girl looked empty. Jonathan sat on one of the chairs in the room while Leon stood right beside Arumi.
Slowly, Leon grabbed Arumi's hand. In his face the scar that had been covered in white bandages with reddened eyes. After that, he again placed Arumi's hand carefully.
"Please don't do it again!" The man tried to smile in order to disguise the destruction of his heart.
Arumi is still flinching. For a second, he didn't want to look at Leon's face.
"I'll leave if that's what makes you happy." Leon smiled again. Tears filled his eyes again. Making his view of the surroundings become blurry.
"Please promise to be married and happy with the man who loves you with all his heart. I'll be back in France later tonight. I will not appear before you again forever, Aru. Keep smiling and live better without me!" Leon's approaching. Peeking at Arumi's forehead for quite a while before rewinding his sturdy body.
"I'm leaving!" The young man waved his hand. Slowly retreat with a smile and turn around and step quickly after passing through the door of the room.
Simultaneously, Arumi's sobs were already heard loud. A gasping Jonathan immediately got up from his chair and ran to hug the princess.
"All will be well, Aru!" said Jonathan.
Although he is not sure that everything will happen according to his words, Jonathan still tries to strengthen and convince Arumi.
Leon smiled in his tears. He repeatedly wiped the tears that came out while still trying to swing his pair of legs that seemed limp without energy. At the end of the corridor, he found Alarick who was already standing there. The look on his distant cousin's face was saddened by what Leon was going through.
"He chose to give up on me, Rick!" leon said after he was in front of Alarick.
Alarick patted Leon on the shoulder before hugging his cousin without saying anything. There were no words that could calm or comfort Leon at this moment. Alarick knows that.

At 10 p.m., Leon flies back to France with the memories and wounds that Arumi gave. That girl will still be the most beautiful in her life. Every trace that Arumi left behind would never be written off by Leon for a second. Arumi is the first love although not the first lover for Leon. Arumi is an extraordinary love that always manages to make Leon forget to tread the earth back so happy. However, Arumi is also a toxic love that managed to paralyze Leon to the bones. It slowly seeps through his blood tissue. Mastering each cell nucleus of Leon's body until that time comes, Arumi's Love crushes it. Strangled him until he had trouble breathing. And, his final move was to shut down Leon in an instant.
The sound of Leon's footsteps entering the large mansion belonging to his family was heard. Duke Xander and Zack immediately came out to greet him impatiently. Both of them smiled happily. However, when they met the fragile figure of their son and sister, both fell silent. That smile is gone.
Duke Xander stepped closer and hugged his son. Leon returned the hug was no less tight.
"I failed, Dad! He doesn't want me anymore" Leon's cry broke. Complaining like a child to Duke Xander.
Duke Xander patted Leon on the shoulder. "Patience! Daddy's sure you can get through this!" consolations.
Zack rubbed the corner of his eye. The young man was saddened by what had happened to his brother. His heart also felt sliced when he saw Leon again crushed to pieces.

Two weeks later, Arumi remained silent in the room. Repeatedly Jonathan, Devan and Selina try to comfort him. However, all these things are in vain. Arumi only smiled in response to a surprise or joke from them. Not infrequently, Arumi even left them in the middle of the conversation with the reason of being tired and wanting to rest.
"This is all because I married Arumi to you! And now, I'm really sorry. If Arumi hadn't been hurt by you, she wouldn't have met him. My daughter won't suffer this much now!" jonathan blames himself every day.
Yep. This is all his fault. If only he had loved Arumi more. If only he hadn't asked Arumi to replace Beverly on her wedding day. Maybe none of this will happen. Her daughter may have been happy with someone who was lonely and loved her sincerely. Not a man like Irgi who can only hurt and not one like Leon who only gives empty hope.
"Go! Arumi will never come back to you! " turn Jonathan out when he finds Irgi on his doorstep again today.
"Let him in, Dad!" The faint voice interrupted Jonathan's hand movements that were about to close the door.
Jonathan inevitably complies with Arumi's request. Di dikaya returned the door even though she snorted annoyedly at seeing Irgi.
"Give up, brother!" arumi opened the conversation.
"Did I really not have another chance?" ask Irgi.
"Do I look like a man who will love again after his departure?" arumi asked back. His empty gaze hit the netra Irgi who still looks so longing.
"We can start slowly, Aru! At least, give me a chance to help you forget."
"I can't give Kak Irgi false hope. My wounds will not heal anytime soon. In fact, it may never heal." Arumi smile.
Irgi nodded his head. Is correct. There was no chance left for him. In the eyes of Arumi there is only love for the man from France. The opportunity for her was long gone. Ever since she decided to have an affair with Beverly behind Arumi who loved her so much with all her heart. Long ago.
"I'm sorry I told your dad everything!" Irgi bowed and apologized sincerely.
"It's okay. It's all over, brother!"
"You forgive me?" asked Irgi half in disbelief.
"Of course."
"Can we stay close even if we're just friends, Aru?" ask Irgi again.
For him, if he can't get Arumi as his love again, at least he can still see Arumi even through the friendship window. That was more than enough for Irgi to make amends for his past mistakes.
"Of course, Brother!" reply Arumi. The girl tried to smile sincerely even though the look on her face did not support that. He's still hurt. However, not because of Irgi anymore but because of the brunette-haired youth with brownish eyes that he met on Moorea Island.
In other parts of the continent, Leon's condition is not much different from Arumi. The young man was more silent. He prefers to be alone or busy himself with various office jobs.
"I'm ready, Daddy!" leon said one day. It has been two months since he returned from Indonesia. Now, the young man is ready for something new. It has changed a lot in a short time. He has become more mature, responsible and personal that people can rely on.
