After obtaining enough shock from Frederick, Duke Xander decided to return to the mansion. He then rushed to his room to take a bath and headed to the reading room wearing only a bathrobe to contemplate there.

A few minutes later, the sound of knocking on the door rang out and displayed the figure of Ronald with a cup of green tea in his hand. He placed the tea in front of Duke Xander before permission to come back out.

Duke Xander kneaded the tip of his temple. He stared at every word that had come out of Frederick's mouth. Is it true that he forced Leon to marry Claire just because he wanted his son to feel the pain he used to feel ? Instead of making his son happy, he plunged his son into a valley of suffering that was even more painful than he used to be.

For a moment, Duke Xander's thoughts now brought the man back to his past. Remembering all the dark memories that once stopped in his life. Until in the end, he not only injured one woman at that time, but three women at once. Greysha, Inessa and Yuka. 3 women who revolve in her life that she destroyed overnight.

At that time, about 28 years ago, Duke Xander decided to elope along with Yuka, the Japanese orphan girl he loved. He wanted to follow in the footsteps of his brother, Frederick who had already done it and it turned out to be successful. However, in the middle of the road Duke Xander spun directions. Thinking about how he would live a hard life when he got out of the house, made him stop to do the escape.

That night, he meets Yuka at the airport who has been waiting for her for almost 2 hours. The girl smiled welcoming the arrival of her lover in the first moment. However, the next second Yuka had to swallow the bitter pill. Xander Syre Wellington has just said that he agreed to marry Greysha. The girl of the man's parents' choice and asks Yuka to go alone. Although, Xander has said that he will come looking for her one day, but Yuka does not want to hear anything more. Enough he knew that his lover was not that big in fighting for him.

Devastated, Yuka finally returns to Japan alone with her hard-earned broken heart.

Destroyed Yuka, destroyed also the young man named Xander. On the same night, heavily intoxicated, she desecrated Inessa and asked her to abort her womb if she accidentally became pregnant because of her caliphate. Without a word of apology, she left Inessa in the morning without caring about the pain Inessa was suffering from.

Meanwhile, Greysha who became his future wife also knew on the same night that her future husband did not love her as much as he loved the man. Greysha follows Xander all the way to the airport and hears Xander's words to Yuka who says that he will divorce Greysha right at the age of their marriage to one later. Greysha's heart breaks from that night and is further broken when he learns that Xander has impregnated Inessa, his own secretary.

The days passed very quickly. Greysha was determined to stay strong on the anniversary of her first marriage with Duke Xander. Divorce never came out of Duke Xander's mouth. Later, Greysha finds out that Yuka is married and refuses to return with Duke Xander. Whether you have to be happy or just grieve with the heartbreak experienced by the husband, Greysha still tries to be a good wife for Duke Xander. Trying to be the most powerful woman until the disease that took his life came without any of his family knowing. Greysha left her son and husband whom she loved dearly with feelings of sadness. Sad because of his love until the last second never get a reply.

"Come on, Leon ! You have to eat !" persuade Zack to despair.

The young man who was still lying in a hospital bed did not heed Leon's plea. He was stubborn enough to torture himself.

"Son ! Eat ! You can really die if you keep doing this !" added Frederick.

Leon's still flinching. His stubbornness really resembled someone he was so familiar with.

"You gotta eat, Leon ! If you stay weak like this, how can you catch that Asian girl to her country ?" Duke Xander's newly arrived baritone voice made everyone gasp in disbelief. Including the young man lying on top of the gurney.

"What does Daddy mean ?" ask Leon not to believe it.

"Do you need Daddy to repeat ? You know, don't you, that Daddy doesn't like it the most when it comes to repeating words ?" said the flat man as he walked closer.

"Did Claire and I get married ?" leon asked doubtfully. He was afraid that his father would only ask him to make Arumi a mistress. Like his crazy plan all along that is impossible to be realized.

"Yes. Daddy's already cancelled the wedding" Duke Xander nods reassuringly.

"But why ?" As if gaining strength from nowhere, Leon got up and forced himself to sit down. Zack who saw it immediately took the initiative to raise the back of Leon's gurney until his sister leaned back comfortably.

"No why. It's just, Daddy just realized that Daddy's attitude has been outrageous to you ! Forgive Daddy !" Duke Xander bowed down full of regret.

"Daddy's not playing me, is he ?" ask Leon to make sure.

"Thanks, Dad !" leon was happy. Duke Xander returned the hug was no less tight. A happy feeling filled his chest cavity. Lifting all the burdens that have been mounting in the heart.

Zack retreats and joins Frederick by the couch. Standing there with an incredible feeling. If only, he could also get such a hug from Duke Xander.

"Come on, Zack ! Don't dream !" the young man's inner voice warned him not to expect too much.

"You don't want to join them ?" Frederick nudged his eldest nephew's shoulder.

"No, Uncle !" ring Zack while smiling wryly. Really ! He's very eager. However, he also knew that Duke Xander would not do that.

"Zack, come here !" call Leon who makes Zack flinch.

"Ha ?" confused answer.

"Come ! Daddy wants to hug you too !" leon smiled.

Zack looked at Duke Xander for reassurance. However, the flat man actually looked at Leon with a gaze that seemed to imply a tone of protest. Zack was again sad. Dreams are just dreams.

"Come here !" the cold flat voice cried out to make Zack again jerked in disbelief.

"Hurryup ! Before I change my mind !" duke Xander said again. Both of his hands were open, waiting for Zack's presence to enter inside.

Zack had already shed his tears and immediately ran to hug his father. Clenching tightly while crying. Duke Xander patted Zack's back gently. His eyes were in tears feeling how much the young man missed him. It feels so crowded. Why has he been so stupid all this time ? Why would he let a son as good as Zack grow up without any affection from him ? Inessa is a great woman. He's been raising Zack well all along. To make their son a kind and sincere man.

Frederick was overwhelmed. He raised both his thumbs to Duke Xander before exiting the room. Fred wants Duke Xander to enjoy valuable time with his children who have been a lot of missed.

"I'm sorry Daddy, Zack !" lirih Duke Xander.

The young man he hugged was still sobbing. "I miss you, Daddy ! Thank you for hugging me, Dad !" he said with great difficulty.

"I'm sorry, Daddy for just doing it now !" Duke Xander increasingly tightened his embrace to Zack's vibrating body. He did not expect that Zack apparently missed him to this deep.

After all managed to master each other's feelings, now Zack has fed Leon who ate so voraciously. Duke Xander who witnessed it was truly so greatly relieved. His two sons get along well and love each other even though they both know the sad story behind their brotherhood.

"We're going to the apartment to see your mother, Zack ! There's something Daddy has to talk to him about" Duke Xander later said.

"About what, Uncle ?"

"Daddy, Zack !" said Leon interjected while shaking Zack's head. Duke Xander only smiled faintly in response.
