Dusk In Moorea
HR#87

Irgi stared at the beautiful bead that was now looking at him with a mist of hate enveloping it. No more tenderness and love emanated from the pair of beautiful eyeballs that belonged to the girl before him for Irgi. It broke Irgi's heart full of pain until it felt he could not afford to linger to accept the hatred.

"Aru, can't you give me a second chance to fix everything ?" Irgi held both Arumi's arms. Staring at his ex-wife full of plea.

"Repair what, Brother ? Didn't I just say that the business between us is done ?" Arumi held a growl in her heart. For whatever. He will not be stuck twice in the same circle again with Irgi. The pain of his heart for Irgi's treatment used to make Arumi not necessarily able to apologize let alone a second chance. He even condemned his old folly that was too blinded by love in the figure of the man in front of him so that he was willing to withstand all the harsh treatment and abuse of Irgi. And, above all, Arumi hates herself for not being able to avenge the actions of Irgi and Beverly who cheated on her behind her.

"I beg you, Aru ! I've regretted everything. I now know that it wasn't you who was guilty. This is Beverly's plan and your parents ! I should have known that. I should have trusted you more !" lirih Irgi was full of regrets.

"Isn't it too late now to realize, Brother ? How much time did I spend convincing you ? In fact, until the last second you still hurt me, sister ! This heart of yours, was too blind to see my truth back then !" Arumi pointed at Irgi's chest.

Irgi grabbed Arumi's fingers pressing against her chest. He kissed the back of his ex-wife's hand with tears. Really ! Irgi really felt sorry for wasting a woman as good as Arumi. And, now that he wanted to return, his path turned out to be much more steep than he had thought.

Arumi pulled out her hand. Forcing the man crying in front of him to take a step back with a look of disbelief. Arumi's heart, which was warm to her, has now turned into an ice pole. Cold and heartless.

"Aru !" Irgi tried to reach for the beautiful woman again. However, what happened was that Arumi instead went and took shelter behind Devan's back. His fingers tightly gripped both sleeves of Devan's shirt from behind with his head resting on his wide, sturdy back.

Arumi cried there in silence. Devan knows that and he knows what he has to do. Meanwhile, Irgi who was looking at the scene in front of him felt completely burned with jealousy. Arumi shunned him and took refuge in another man. It was no longer her that girl needed, but Devan.

"Aru ! Come here !" Irgi tries to pull Arumi's hand again but is soon stopped by Devan. The man held Irgi's hand and pushed Irgi's body hard.

"Stay away from her, Irgi !" devan said coldly.

Irgi laughed heartily. Both hands held both sides of her waist. A moment later, his eyes shot back sharply towards Devan.

"You have no right to ask me to stay away from my own wife, Dev !" say Irgi emotion.

Injunctive. Now it's Devan's turn to laugh. "What did you say ? Wife ? Have you forgotten that you've filed for divorce from Arumi ? He's not who you are anymore, Gi ! Aru deserves to be with anyone she wants as long as she's happy !"

"Dev ! You're my friend ! But, why did you even corner me like this ? Can't you find another woman for you to date ?" Irgi breathed in despair. It feels heavy to take off a woman as good as Arumi even for a Devan once.

Devan swallowed his saliva with great difficulty. Now he understands that Irgi considers himself to have a relationship with Arumi at this time. That's natural. Because, Devan never told anyone other than his extended family about the relationship between him and Selina. So far, friends who know their relationship is indeed new Arumi.

"Can't, Gi ! Didn't I ever tell you that I liked Arumi before you married her ? I gave up because I thought you could make Arumi happy. But now I won't do the same again. This time, I want to act selfish by thinking only about my happiness and Arumi. And, you have no right to interfere in that at all."

Irgi tried to stay calm even though his heart had screamed unacceptable. Jealous. Yeah, she's really jealous. Is this how Arumi used to feel when Irgi had a relationship with Beverly behind the woman during their marriage ? No. gabe. That's not the right thing. Arumi must be much more sick than Irgi now.

"You heard it yourself, didn't you ? So, now go home, Gi !" pinta Devan's.

Irgi was devastated. Arumi's hatred managed to hit him so hard. Sharpen his heart mercilessly until Irgi felt his mind could have gone mad just for holding back this feeling. Be late. It was a word that could represent all the hatred that Arumi showed her.

"good. I'm going, Aru ! But, just for today. Tomorrow I'll be back. In fact, tomorrow and tomorrow again I will still come here until you really want to accept me back !" said Irgi firmly. After that, he got back into his car. Drove the iron horse gallantly away from where the woman was.

"Damn !" Irgi hit the driver of his own car. "Why is it like this, Aru ? Why would you prefer Devan to me ?" lirih Irgi's. He leaned his head against the back of the car seat while sighing faintly.

"Is this karma because I've wasted you in the past ? Are you punishing me, Aru ?" The man continued to monologue with a series of questions that kept circling his brain. Meanwhile, the iron horse he was driving had already entered an elite residential area of the place where he lived.

"Irgi ! What's wrong with you ? You sick ?" Madam Berta placed the back of her hand on her forehead and her son's cheeks.

Irgi grabbed his mother's hand. He held Madam Berta's hand while smiling.

"He hates me now, Mom ! She really hates me !" Irgi was powerless not to blow up his cries.

"Who do you mean, Gi ? Who hates you ?" ask Mrs Berta to worry.

"Aru !" answer Irgi briefly.

"You found him ?" Madam Berta's eyes widened in disbelief.

Irgi nodded. He wiped away the tears that had come out. "Unfortunately, she already doesn't have the slightest taste in me, Mom ! He already had another man beside him."
