The inauguration of Leon as vice-chairman in his father's company was lively. Duke Xander looked very proud because Leon finally wanted to take up the task after a long time Leon only asked to serve as advertising manager in his father's company.

A week later, Duke Xander left for London, England. He has requested leave from his job for the next ten days and promised to return before Leon's 26th birthday.

"Be careful, Dad!" leon said as he hugged his father briefly.

"Sure," replied Duke Xander. "Zack! Take good care of your sister!" he continued, staring at Zack.

"Well, Dad!" zack's nod obediently.

"Send our regards to Uncle Fred!" leon shouted as the car that Duke Xander was riding in moved sluggishly out of the mansion. He waved at his father while holding Zack's shoulder.

After that, the two brothers entered their respective cars and headed for their respective companies.

"Doris, please pass this file to the legal counsel. Ask them to check if the contract of the agreement is a problem or not!" pinta Leon to Doris, his Secretary.

"Good, Sir!" doris's nod obediently.

Half an hour later, Doris returned. The beautiful secretary smiled and returned the file containing the company's cooperation contract to Leon.

"How's it?" ask Leon when he receives the file.

"There's no problem. Everything's safe, sir!" answer Doris.

"good. You can come out!" leon said with a slight smile.

After Doris's departure, Leon resumed his work. This is the routine every day. Always immersing yourself in work so that his mind can be distracted from Arumi. However, sometimes it doesn't work. Arumi sometimes still shadowing suddenly without Leon thought.

"You're still busy?" the light sound accompanied by a knock on the door made the focus of Leon who was thinking about Arumi shifted.

"Zack?" Leon immediately closed the laptop in front of him and allowed Zack to sit down.

"It's late afternoon, Leon! You don't want to go home yet?" ask Zack.

"Just go first! I still have a lot of work."

"All right! Happy working! But, before 8 p.m., you should already be home. Youunderstand?"

Leon rolled his eyes lazily. " yes. I understand!"

Ten days later, Duke Xander returns just as Leon's birthday is about to be held. Although, Leon had refused many times, but Duke Xander still insisted that his son's birthday be held festively.

Leon looks handsome with a black tuxedo. With a lazy step, he still tried to be as friendly as possible with his father's business partner who is now his business partner as well. The young man kept smiling. Stabbing their words with enthusiasm and trying to follow the flow of their conversation. Duke Xander who noticed that was getting more and more astonished. His son is fully grown and responsible.

"Daddy is proud of you now, Son!" duke Xander said.

"It's all because of Daddy too."

"For that, Daddy thinks you deserve a big prize." Duke Xander smiled widely. Something he rarely does.

"Surprise?" Leon's eyes narrowed.

Finished blowing out the candle and saying a word from him, Leon decided to go alone. The young man grabbed a glass of champagne and chose to sit at one of the tables at the very back. No one's gonna bother him here. He is free to show the look of his face that is sad because of the dim atmosphere that is more domineering.

Leon laughed at himself as he sat back in his place and sipped the rest of his champagne.

"Ohuk!" The champagne came out from inside her mouth as soon as she saw a woman in an ombre-colored dress standing on stage and joining some of the artists who were there.
