"Aru ! Why are you coming down ? Hurry up, go up again. Let me handle this little prick." Charlie runs over to Arumi and holds both of her best friend's shoulders. The look in his eyes implied such deep worry.

"Aru ! Please give me a chance to explain everything." Leon tries to get close to Arumi but is interrupted by Charlie.

"Keep your hand away from my friend !" hiss Charlie tightly held Leon's arm.

"Let Charlie ! I want to hear what he wants to say," Arumi said as she held onto Charlie's shoulder.

"You're crazy ? Why do you still want to listen to the defense of this br*hsek's Aru ?" charlie asked not to take it.

"It's okay. Trust me !" Arumi tried to convince Charlie.

Charlie looked at Arumi asking for certainty once again. Is it true that his best friend is willing to give an opportunity to the man who has hurt him or not to explain everything. Arumi nodded. It was as if he understood the doubts implied through Charlie's eyes.

"All right ! I'll leave you two alone" Charlie said, hugging Arumi briefly. He then decided to enter the mansion with a cynical look that still led to Leon.

"Everything you want to explain Leon ?" asked Arumi coldly. He spoke without any intention of looking at Leon's face. They were now in the front garden of the mansion and were sitting far apart.

Leon bowed. It seemed that the young man was as hurt as Arumi.

"Jane and I have been married since we were kids, Aru ! But, it's all my Daddy's will. I never wanted this match for life. And when I first tried to rebel against Daddy's will, I ran to Moorea. And there I met you," Leon explained at length.

"From the first time I saw you, I've been liking you ever since. Yeah, I didn't lie that at first I was just going to play around with you..." Leon hung his words for a moment. A small smile while recalling her beautiful past made her slightly find an oasis in the midst of the destruction that was currently pounding her.

The Asian girl beside him flinched. Didn't intend to see Leon's face even if only briefly. He with all his remaining strength tried to stay strong. Maintaining the self-esteem that still remains when remembering the embarrassing events when in Claire's slap because it is considered as the usurper of prospective husband people.

Leon continued his story.

"At first I thought you would just be entertainment in the midst of the problems that are pressing on me Aru ! However, as time went on, I knew that I no longer thought of you as mere entertainment. I really fell for you Aru. I was immersed in a game I made myself. I can't even imagine what my life would be like if you weren't there." Leon started shedding tears. While Arumi was still reluctant to turn her head and still did not want to make the slightest sound.

" Aru ! For God's sake ! I never meant to hide this from you. I'm just too scared if you find out everything, you'll leave me. I don't want that to happen" Leon continued. His voice began to tremble in despair. But it is not enough to melt the heart of Arumi who has been petrified.

"Have you ever thought about how I feel ?" Arumi asked in a soft tone.

"With your behavior hiding everything, I feel like I'm the lowest woman in the world. How can I be in a relationship with a man who has become another woman's husband ?" hoarse Arumi who tried to hold back his sobs.

For once, God ! Let Arumi look strong without having to shed tears in front of the face of the man who again hurt her.

"Aru ! I really didn't mean to put you in a position like this. Daddy forced me to do everything. I just want to make Daddy happy by being a submissive child but still be happy with you too" said Leon.

"So you mean, you want to have Claire and me at once ? So ?" this time Arumi could no longer not look Leon in the face. The girl tightened her grip on the iron handle of the garden bench.

Am I that low so I just want to be made a mistress ? cynical Arumi in heart.

"Do you mind that ?" ask Leon in a low voice. As if his words were nothing wrong.

"What kind of woman do you think I am, huh ? Just because I've been married and you think that I'd be willing to be a mistress ?" Arumi hissing inadmissive. If that's what Leon thinks, then it's done. That young man had truly gone too far.

"Aru ! Please understand my position ! I really just love you, Aru ! After I marry Claire, I'll stay apart with her. Our marriage was just a status. And we can be together again without interference from my father or anyone else" persuaded Leon while trying to hold Arumi's hands tightly.

"Don't touch me !" Arumi slammed into Leon's hand then stood up with a fiery look.

"Keep that beautiful dream for you, Leon. Whatever the reason, I refuse to be second. I don't care about your father's restraints or any rules that apply in your family. And from now on, don't ever appear in front of me again" snapped Arumi who had now turned around and ran about to enter the mansion.

Leon catches up and holds Arumi's body. At her hug the girl though Arumi tried to resist and wanted to push her away.

"Take me off, Leon ! Release !" Arumi thrashed in despair. The more Leon treated her like this, the more hurt Arumi was from being tormented.

"I love you Aru ! Please don't push me away. I beg you ! Let me stay by your side, "please leave Leon while kissing the top of the head of the girl who is still struggling to let go.

"What is this ?" the baritone voice of a man makes Leon's attention distracted for a moment.

It was immediately used by Arumi to take the gap by stepping on Leon's foot hard. Trial succeeded. The man's embrace finally slipped from his body. Arumi immediately ran into the mansion as quickly as possible with tears that began to pour out.

Leon who sees Arumi running away from her intends to chase. However, a hand holding the collar of his shirt restrained the man. And shortly afterwards, he fell to the ground with a bleeding nose after getting a blow from the person who had prevented it.

"Never dare you hurt our Aru in the slightest. In fact, even if you were Duke Xander's son, I wouldn't hesitate to kill you right now." Charles's eyes turned red looking hatefully at Leon. For whatever sake, he would never allow a single person to harm his family members including Leon.
