Duke Xander sipped his coffee while sitting casually opposite his future daughter-in-law, Claire. Both of them smiled with satisfaction when their plan to separate Leon and Arumi could be said to be perfect one hundred percent.

"You've been working so hard, Jane ! Let's toast to it, " said Duke Xander, raising his cup of coffee into the air.

"Thank you very much, uncle !" Claire smiled and lifted her cup of tea.

"Don't be hurt by Leon's harsh treatment. Once that Asian girl has completely disappeared, Leon will definitely turn to like you. Trust in Uncle !" Duke Xander tried to convince Claire.

Claire who heard Duke Xander's words widened her smile even more. The woman who works as a celebrity jumps in her heart. His biggest rival had him run over as evenly as he could. He can even make sure that his fiance's beloved Asian girl can't possibly have face anymore even to just look into Claire's eyes.

Yep. Everything that happened today was a scenario that he had planned together with Duke Xander. That day, when she learns of the relationship between Arumi and Leon, Claire meets Duke Xander. Crying sobbed in front of the man while complaining about the attitude of Leon who continued to ignore him all this time.

Of course the story of the essay about the ugliness of Arumi did not escape Claire's complaint. And, Duke Xander who had hated the Asian girl from the beginning immediately swallowed the bait containing the lie Claire gave. No need to know which story is right and which story is wrong. To him, Arumi was already like an insect that he had to exterminate as ruthlessly as possible so as not to disturb the peace of his life and that of his son.

Not long after, the sound of knocking from the outside door made Duke Xander's gaze shifted toward the door. Duke Xander's secretary came in and told him that a young man wanted to see him. Duke Xander grinned. He knew who the young man the secretary was referring to.

"Please let him in !" duke Xander's orders.

"Okay sir !" the secretary nodded in understanding and closed the door of his superior's room.

About a minute later, the young man she was referring to entered the room. He first saluted before greeting Duke Xander and Claire of course.

"Sit down !" Duke Xander invites his new guest to sit next to Claire.

The young man complied and glanced at Claire who seemed to snort seeing her arrival. It'sit's okay. After all, he did not like that arrogant woman either.

"It's good to see you again" said Claire, who Zack could have guessed was just an image in front of Duke Xander.

Zack still returned Claire's fake friendly greeting even if only with a smile.

"Have you done your job well, Zack ?" duke Xander asked as he took another sip of his coffee. Making Zack's mind reverted to the purpose he was told to come here by the cold man in front of him.

"It's uncle" replied Zack weakly. His hands were shaking each other nervously. The guilt of having done something so very wrong continues to eat away at every inch of his body.

"Good job, Zack ! Stay by Leon's side and persuade him to accept Jane's existence slowly" Duke Xander says.

Zack nodded despite his small heart expressing the opposite.

After meeting Duke Xander and Claire, Zack decides to return to the office where he works. He weakly stepped foot into his parked car in the basement of the 'W Corporation' office'. The large corporation is privately owned by Duke Xander.

"Let's get br*hsek !" swearing someone who instantly pulled the collar of Zack's shirt and slammed it hard into the body of the car.

Zack's eyes round when he finds out that the one who did that to him is his best friend, Leon. The person he had been deceiving by pretending to be his most loyal friend all along.

"How much money did my Daddy give me in return for tricking me, huh ?" Leon punches Zack in the face until he falls on the basement floor.

"Leon ! I don't understand what you're talking about !" zack defended himself. He rested on one hand to support the body so as not to fall flat on the floor. His hand that was next to her again, moved sweeping the blood coming out of her nose.

"You still want to pretend it looks like ?" Leon attacked Zack. Hit the face of the person who had been considered as a good friend but instead became an enemy in the blanket.

"Unsatisfied are you ruining my life with my father ? Not satisfied you saw me and Arumi crumbled like this ?" Leon kept beating Zack's face in despair.

"Stop Leon !" Zack takes Leon's hit. Punching as hard as he can until Leon slightly retreated to the back and away from him.

It was used by Zack to take a gap in order to stand back.

Leon also wiped the blood that came out of his mouth. The brown-eyed young man laughed loudly in his own foolishness.

"Why can I trust you to be Zack's friend ? I told you all my secrets all along because I thought you were my friend. But what actually happened ? You, Daddy and Jane conspired to separate me from Aru !"

Now Leon rushes and settles on the floor. Both of his hands squeezed a tanned mane over his head while prostrating and banging his head on the floor.

"Stupid ! I'm really stupid !" crying Leon.

"How can I trust your mean people ?" continued.

Zack immediately ran towards Leon. Holding Leon's body to stop the young man from banging his own head into the cold basement floor.

"Don't be like this Leon ! Please !" pinta Zack.

Leon looked up and looked down at Zack's guilty face. The young man smiled in between his cries of sadness while tightly gripping Zack's shoulder.

"Honest to me Zack ! Why would you do this cruel thing to me ?" ask Leon again.

Zack bowed. She clenched her lips together while crying. Regretting his stupid actions for wanting to obey Duke Xander and Claire's crazy plan to separate Arumi and Leon.

"Tell me everything you've been planning all along !" pinta Leon is serious.

Zack nodded with resignation. "All right ! But not here," he said.

The two of them then rushed to Zack's apartment. About a 25-minute drive away, Leon and Zack finally arrive at their destination. Zack rang the bell of his apartment. A few seconds later, a woman in her 50s came out and opened the door for them. The woman's face seemed shocked when she saw Zack and Leon coming over with a battered look.

"What happened to your faces ?" Inessa, so the woman's name. The birth mother of a son named Zack Murphey.

Inessa checks Zack's and Leon's faces in turn. But, it seemed that his son's face was much worse than Leon's.

"It's okay, Mom ! Earlier, we were just having a little bit of trouble with a few people" Zack replied lying as he glanced at Leon.

"Come in ! Mom will take medicine to treat your wounds first !" inessa's Pinta darted to pick up the P3K box in the kitchen.

Zack and Leon sit on the couch waiting for Inessa to bring a medicine box. A few minutes later, the middle-aged woman who looked much younger than her age came out and directly put the medicine on Zack's wounds and Leon alternated.

"You wait a minute ! Mom will go to the supermarket first to buy groceries. Leon ! Stay here for dinner !" inessa smiled.

Despite feeling a little awkward at the kindness Inessa showed, Leon just smiled lightly agree. In any case, it was Leon who had already battered Inessa's son. And if Inesaa knew that fact, Leon no longer knew what to explain.

After Inessa's departure, Zack and Leon are still fighting in silence. Until finally Zack chose to open the voice first in the end.

"Once again forgive me, Leon !" said sorry. Although the sentence had escaped his lips repeatedly, Zack felt that it was never enough to say it again and again.

"What really happened ?"

Zack closed his eyes while sighing. Both of his palms rubbed against each other.

"Your Daddy and Claire have been planning to separate you and Arumi all the way. All the events you've experienced today are the result of your Claire and Daddy's designs."

"And you ? What's your role ? By acting as the one who got kidnapped ?" Leon grinned at the sarcasm.

"Not only that." Zack. His eyes were filled with guilt.

"What else ?" leon's eyes squeaked. Didn't think that it turned out that Zack's role was not just on that.

"Duke also asked me to see Arumi a few days ago. He asked me to convince Arumi to leave you."

"And you did it ?" ask Leon in a high tone.

"No," Zack's bell is weak.

Leon punched the air in front of him. His emotions were burning every joint in his body.

"So, what are you doing ?" leon again.

"I just told Arumi that you're going to hurt her one day" I'm Zack without trying to cover anything up again.

Leon again squeezed his brownish mane. The young man was so frustrated that he wanted to tear something apart right now.

"I'm sorry, Leon !" zack said again without any disgust.

"Sorry ? You think an apology can fix my relationship with Arumi ?" leon became angry. "You know Zack ? I let Arumi know my secret just for your sake. Just for the life of someone I've taken for granted like my own brother. But what do I get ? Not only did Arumi hate me, but I also learned that Daddy and my own best friend were involved in this evil plan."

"Sorry !" Lirih Zack with a voice that could barely be heard anymore.

"Keep your sorry nonsense for yourself" Leon said, rising from his chair.

He decides to leave Zack's apartment and returns to the mansion. Zack had tried to chase after him but not in a huddle by Leon in the slightest.

"Leon ! Don't be rash !" persuade Zack while trying to stop Leon's wide stride.

"Keep out from before me !" furious Leon while pushing hard Zack's body so as not to block his way.

"Leon ! Listen to me !" Zack hasn't given up. He's still trying to prevent Leon from going any further.

Be late. Leon had already entered the elevator and disappeared from behind the door of the box-shaped room.
