Arriving at the hospital, medics are waiting and take Leon from Zack and Frederick. They act as quickly as possible to save the patient. Leon was taken to the IGD room for treatment.

Zack looks so badly hit. The young man could only sit on the waiting chair while bowing down and putting both his hands behind his head. While Frederick was leaning against the wall, resting his forehead on the cold wall while closing his eyes in frustration. His clenched hand hit the wall several times.

"What about this, Uncle ?" ask Zack to Frederick.

"Come, Zack ! Pray, may your brother be okay" replied Frederick. He patted his eldest nephew gently on the shoulder.

Moments later, a doctor came out of the treatment room. The doctor opened the mask covering his face while sighing in concern. Zack immediately stood up and approached the doctor who was dealing with Frederick.

"How's my niece doing, Doc ?" asked Fred with a matted face full of worry.

"The conditions are not good. Your niece has alcohol poisoning. He also suffered injuries to his liver and his stomach had leaks. We have to have surgery as soon as possible" the doctor said.

"Just do it, Doc ! Whatever, if Leon can recover, we'll follow !" reply Fred.

The doctor nodded and went back into the room where Leon was being treated. A little while later, Duke Xander just arrived with Ronald.

"How's Leon ?" ask him to Zack and Fred.

Frederick reacted immediately to Duke Xander's question. The man held both sides of the collar of the shirt that Duke Xander was wearing and smashed the body of his younger brother into the wall.

"You're still asking about the circumstances after you did all this yourself, huh ?" Frederick stared hard.

"He's my son, Fred ! Of course I have the right to ask the circumstances" Duke Xander said, pushing Fred's body. At a glance, Duke Xander was freed from Frederick's grip.

Frederick snorted harshly at Duke Xander's words. The kid he said ? Since when was there a father who acted like Duke Xander ? What kind of father would make his son suffer to death like this ?

"You still admit that you're the father ? Aren't you ashamed of Xander ?" his Frederick.

"He is my son ! Why should I be ashamed ?" Duke Xander won't lose either.

"You're a really selfish dad !"

"And you're the one who shouldn't interfere in my business and my son's !" hiss Duke Xander did not want to lose.

"Enough !" yelled Zack who was caught off guard at the quarrel between his father and uncle.

"Are you not ashamed to fight in a public place like this ? How old are you guys ?" leon snapped at the two parents who actually acted like children.

Fred and Duke Xander just sat in hate before turning their backs on each other. After that, no more voices intertwined until Leon was brought out of the treatment room and prepared to enter the operating room.

"If something bad happens to my niece, you're the first one I'll take out Xander !" threaten Frederick.

"You think you deserve to threaten me like this ?"

Frederick smiled cynically. A smile that hinted that he was capable of doing whatever he wanted. Both then and now, Frederick will still do everything he believes is right no matter who gets in his way. He then decided to walk away from there after he got a call from someone.

"Uncle ? How's Leon ?" asked Claire who had just returned from the set. After hearing that her future husband had entered the hospital, the beautiful woman immediately rushed to get there. His face looks puffy. A sign that she must have cried on the way here.

"The operation went well. It's just that, Leon is still unconscious as well until now," Duke Xander replied flatly.

"Can Jane see Leon ?"

Duke Xander shook his head. "Doctors have not allowed anyone to visit Leon at this time. You better just go home. Come back here if Leon has regained consciousness," Duke Xander refused with a heavy voice.

Claire wiped her tears before nodding and rushing home at Duke Xander's orders. On the way out of the hospital, Claire runs into Zack who just bought coffee from a drinking machine.

Claire smiled sinisterly when she saw Zack. Quickly, he had already landed his palm on the young man who was holding the two warm cups of coffee.

"Can't you take care of Leon properly, Zack ? What kind of friend are you ?" said Claire who was filled with anger.

"You blame me ?" hiss Zack with his cynical grin.

"Yes. If you're not the one to blame, then who else ?"

Zack chuckled softly in response to Claire's fiery rage. The young man stepped closer to Claire, which caused the beautiful woman to step back step by step until her body hit the wall behind her. Zack brought his face closer to Claire's. Making their lips so close that Claire also chose to turn her face while clenching her hands down there.

Zack touched his lips on the ear of the woman who was his sister's future wife. Whispering in a tone so low that Claire's eyes could only be closed.

"Did you ever think that this could all be your fault ?"

"Don't make it up, Zack ! Why does all this have to be my fault ? You're the one who can't take care of your best friend" Claire said in a stifled voice. Zack's position squeezing her with the young man's lips still running around her ears and neck made Claire really feel uncomfortable.

"You're still not aware of it either." Zack laughed again. "Leon wouldn't be like this if you let him go with the girl he loves" Leon continued.

Claire immediately pushed Zack's body. Causing the young man to be pushed back with a dismissive smile still lingering on that handsome face.

"You mean Arumi ? That's never gonna happen, Zack ! Leon is only mine and not the woman" Claire said furiously.

"You know who owns Leon's heart, Claire ! What good are you to have her body if not with her heart ? Do you think you'd be happy living with a man who never put your heart on you ?" Zack raised next to his eyebrows.

Claire's breath was heard hunting along with her racing heartbeat getting faster. Zack's words further irritated him.

"I can make him fall in love with me as time goes on. And, if that day comes, you're the first person I'm gonna get rid of Leon's life !" Claire pointed at Zack's face confidently. Thought that threat could silence Zack.

Zack walked closer to Claire. "You're too confident, Cla ! Unfortunately, that will never happen. You don't have any power to separate a brother from his sister. It will never be !" Zack said firmly at the end of the sentence.

"What do you mean ?" asked Claire in surprise.

"Just ask Duke Xander" Zack smiled again and left Claire with a thousand questions in her brain.
