I just want you to know that I want you, that there I always expect you to turn and look at me.

- Kiky Wiratama

---

Is now the front street of Selly's house turned into a car display? The girl raised her eyebrows high, when she saw two cars that could not be said to be cheap filled the front road of her house.

The motorists came out, carrying an aura of their own. Rey and Kiky stand face to face, in a similar style; putting their hands in their trouser pockets.

“Ngapain lo here?” todong Rey's.

“Fetch Selly,” replied Kiky lightly, as if yesterday there was nothing strange they discussed.

Rey grunts. “Don't dream, Selly with me.”

“Oh yes?” Kiky raised the corner of her lips, smiling obliquely. “Look at it later,” concluded jumawa, coinciding with Selly's step closer.

“Again, everyone,” say hello Selly clumsy.

“Section Cell.” Rey smiles sweet honey. “Come to leave.”

Scratching the nape, Selly grimaced. “Sorry Rey, I promised Kiky to leave with.”

Rey was stunned, her eyes looking up at Kiky who was showing off her teeth, as if mocking who lost here.

“Rey first,” Kiky said before entering the car. Do not forget to give the horn as a sign of goodbye, making Rey must refrain from kicking the car.

“Lho, Ky!” Selly exclaimed as she realized the path they were supposed to take to get to the campus was missed. “You're wrong way huh?” His head looked to the right and left, watching the large road that began to be visited by various types of vehicles.

“This time is it?” Kiky puts on his brightest look yet, begging Selly to have them skip today.

“Ish!” Selly crossed her arms in the chest. “Emang where are you going? Tumben very much you are sure to do crime.”

Kiky's laughter echoed in the car, her shoulders were even shaken violently. “You don't know what a criminal I am yet.”

“You said what the hell Ky is, don't laugh. What's so funny?” Shaking her head, Selly felt her best friend had a problem with her brain.

“You must be happy when I go there,” said Kiky after his laughter subsided.

“Emang where to go?”

***

Selly's scream echoed through the air an hour later. Been in touch with some playground visitors that afternoon. The ponytailed girl rode on a roller coaster ride with Kiky beside her, the loudest sounding out. Side effects of the burden of a sneaking mind. Sometimes shouting loudly can make a feeling of relief. Even if it doesn't mean the problem is over.

Selly laughed merrily, his heart feeling dislodged as the carriage swooped sharply down in an unpalpable speed, then went back up, even rolling over, making his body overturn. Forcing the heart to pump faster.

Kiky recorded every second of that moment. Storing in a special drawer in the corner of her brain how the face pulled the corners of her lips, how they laughed, and how Selly rolled her hair up, leaving children with hair that dangles along the head line. Kiky will capture all of that, wrapping it in a special parcel titled fondest memories. Because maybe after this there will be no more opportunity to enjoy that sweet smile.

“You seneng Sel?” ask Kiky. They were sitting in a booze stand. Wait for young coconut ice as a substitute for body fluids lost after riding various rides game.

Selly nodded repeatedly. “Seneng bang.”

The drink sellers delivered their orders. Two young fresh coconuts. Receiving the order, Kiky invites Selly to sit under a coconut tree in the corner of the garden.

For the first minute, no one spoke. They especially enjoy the freshness of coconut water and the cradle of the wind. Kiky glanced at the watch on the wrist, the time has come. Irregular leaflets in the chest cavity became a sign of his fear. Afraid to uncover the truth, even afraid to see the reaction of the girl next to him.

Sighing deeply, Kiky called out to Selly without turning her head. “Selly Anandita.”

Selly frowned, feeling a little strange as her best friend mentioned her full name. “What is Kiky Wiratama?”

Kiky was unable to hide the curvature of her smile, could she expect time to stop here alone? Let Selly this cheerful mode stay by her side. It's fine if he's just considered a friend forever, as long as they stay together.

“I want to make a confession.” Netra Kiky was still pacing forward.

“What confession? Confession of sins?” Sally giggled, amused herself by her words.

“I like you.”

For a moment Selly was stunned, then the girl smiled ignorantly.

“Like more than friends.” However, his smile disappeared along with Kiky's voice that returned to greet the ears.

“You said what the hell Ky, not funny know.” Selly punched slowly at Kiky's upper arm, the grin she was trying to pull on her lips couldn't hide the awkwardness.

“I like you like a man to a woman.” Kiky was earnest in spelling out every tribe he said. “I even envied your every togetherness with Rey Atmaja.”

“Ky, you ...” Selly lost the word. Truly he had never imagined this kind of awkward situation with this teary-eyed man.

Kiky turned the body, facing perfectly on Selly. “What can still be called liking like a friend, when I get angry when you share a laugh with him? What can still be called reasonable, if it feels like anything I would do to be able to get close to you, Selly?” Netra Kiky sharpens.

Sally lowered her head, her hands clinging to her crossed legs.

“I was even reckless to cheat in order to get your attention back Sel.”

Kiky's words made him grunt. “You mean?”

Their netting clashed, for a few seconds Kiky glanced at him. Was I not a little there? The man took a breath, then his right hand reached into the pocket of his pants, taking out a five-inch metallic blue-cased phone. Tinker for a bit, then drag it to Selly.

Wrinkles adorn Selly's thin eyebrows when receiving the object. The next second the fine-haired arch rose. Her net captured those photos, the cause of the riots a few days ago. Ironically everything was complete, from the moment the girl got off the taxi in front of a hotel, then met the man, until the two reached the front of the room.

“This, what do—” mean

“At first I just wanted to make sure your safety Sel.”

“You mean?” Selly's heart beat faster, drenched in various frightening speculations.

“I told Bendi to follow you.” Kiky lowered his head.

Sally did not forget, Bendi is the person who said Bagas had uploaded the photos. Which Bagas said, the man did it on a whim. Which Bagas said had been beaten all out by Rey. And what did Kiky say? Sally looked at her best friend, what kind of coincidence is this?

“You mean, she, Bendi accidentally uploaded that photo?” selly asked hesitantly, she was just trying to create a presumption of innocence on Kiky. Isn't that too evil to do with her anyway?

Kiky raised his head, then shook his head slowly. “I told Bendi to upload it Cell,” he said stiffly.

Like a bolt of lightning in the scorching heat, Selly was unable to hide her shock. “This is not funny, Ky.”

“All the khil—”

“You know what you're doing is as bad as what, Ky!” Selly's tone of voice rose, accompanied by the roar of increasingly visible breath, exposed through intense chest movements. Also the body starts to shake. What truth did he just get? Even Selly's brain was reluctant to record it.

“I know, Cell.” Kiky rubbed his face rough with his hands. “But all of that because you changed, no more same time me.”

“What?” Swallowing her spit, Selly slapped her bead on Kiky. “I didn't expect.” Repeatedly shaking his head, for what sake his best friend would defame him. And what did he say? The darling? Selly grunting.

“I lost you who was always there for me. You are too focused on Rey and their world Cell,” said Kiky in a weakened voice, “I miss you, until it feels chest tight.” The man squeezed the shirt on his chest, then patted it repeatedly.

“But not gini how!”

“Then what?!” Their voices were earthy, carried by the wind to make some pedestrians disturbed. “You never even seriously responded to me?” Kiky's shoulders were heaving as the roar of breath grew heavier. “You always think my love is only a friend, you always tell me every time I miss.”

Netra Selly widened, jolted with Kiky's speech. During this time Kiky also never confirmed. “What kind of affection makes a loved one isolated Ky?”

“I was wrong, I admit it. But at least you turned to me. We get together more often.”

Sally laughed incessantly, a single tear drop down her thin cheek. “It's not dear Ky.” Selly got up, grabbed her bag and then waved away from Kiky.

“Sorry to say this Sel.” Selly's move was stopped by Kiky's words, “Will Rey still choose you if she knows who you really are?”

Folding his lips inward, Selly walked back, away from Kiky Wiratama. Steer clear of someone who has yet again incised a wound. Adding to his list of disbeliefs about sincerity. Hurt Selly's liver worse than anyone.

Kiky Wiratama, best friend since childhood. The person he thought was more trustworthy than anyone. The person Selly considers the most sincere. The person Selly believes is able to strengthen her when the world may be hostile.

Is that the world to him?
