Proposal

Rian and Mr. Felix have already left his home. Several times Rian looked towards Mr. Felix, his lips smiling. Although Rian did not say a word, it seemed like Mr. Felix knew what was in Rian's head.

"Stop mocking me, Rian." Mr. Felix's baritone voice made Rian nod.

The road to Riri's house was very quiet. The two of them were silent like people did not know each other. Even Mr. Felix did not want any music to be played at the time. Mr. Felix didn't want Rian singing a little song following the song that was playing.

"You guys made a pact?" ask Mr. Felix when the car stops in the car in front of Riri's house.

Rian looked at Mr. Felix not understanding.

"Don't Papa know that Mpus and I made a pact to eat with Papa?" rian asked confusedly.

Rian drove back to where he had planned. As always, Mr. Felix's friend's cafe will be a special place when they are together.

"In the usual place!" said Mr. Felix.

Rian nodded and followed Mr. Felix first.

"Thank you, Mum." Riri walked past Rian.

A table they ordered as usual. Rian saw a change.

"So it's more beautiful. When I came here, it wasn't special like this" Rian said.

"But only this table is special, Mas. The other table still looks ordinary," said Riri.

Rian immediately spread his eyes. Until he finally realized it was just a different table.

"Can't it be like this, huh, Pah?" ask Rian.

There was a sense of suspicion when he saw that Mr. Felix was not surprised at all. Rian began to investigate what had happened.

"Papa made this table special, right?" accuse Rian.

"Of course" replied Mr. Felix.

Rian was surprised to find Mr. Felix's confession. At first he thought his father would be evasive.

"Because there's a special woman like me. Is that Pah?" riri asked with a big laugh.

Rian looked at Riri in confusion. While Mr. Felix even agreed that finally followed by laughter from Riri and his father. Rian was increasingly confused by the attitude of the two.

"This is great, Pah. Thank you," said Riri.

"Either. For the wedding date it seems like we don't need to talk about it now. It's too far away!" said Mr. Felix.

"Yes Pah. I still have to fight for two more years" said Riri.

Mr. Felix and Riri are engrossed in telling stories regardless of Rian's confused face. Until Riri finally realized Rian's confusion.

"Mas why?" ask Riri.

"Ti-no," replied Rian nervously.

"Do you disagree with this proposal?" ask Mr. Felix.

"Mu-not like that," replied Rian who was getting nervous.

Rian was afraid that Riri misunderstood Mr. Felix's question. He would not if Riri thought this was a joke. He was happy but could not express his happiness. So that he can only be nervous is unclear.

"So I'm serious about lamar?" asked Riri with a big smile.

"certain. You happy?" Mr. Felix asked back.

"But this ring seems too expensive for me who is only a maid," said Riri.

"No, this is worth it to you. I proposed to you to be my son-in-law. No matter what your job is for now. Because later you will do the same for Rian," said Mr. Felix.

"Huh?" ask Riri.

Riri felt his heart was not good when Mr. Felix spoke so seriously with him.

"I mean Papa?" ask Riri.

"What's? Don't tell me you think this is just a joke, Pus. Papa has prepared all this for you" said Mr. Felix.

Riri only realized if this proposal was really serious. At first he thought that the ring was just a birthday present that coincided with that day.

"Mas," said Riri slowly asked for Rian's explanation.

Rian took a deep breath. He did not want his father's efforts to be in vain just because of his mistake.

"To be honest I was not involved at all with this preparation. But what Papa did for me because Papa knows how much you mean to me. How scared I was to lose you, Pus. Whatever your answer, I accept. But I'm not forcing you at all. Answer according to how you feel," said Rian at length.

"You're today's birthday?" ask Rian and Mr. Felix at the same time.

"Yes," Riri replied with a smile.

While Rian and Mr. Felix stared at each other when they realized their compactness was still awake.

"The matter of marriage, for me it's up to you. I personally do not forbid if you are ready to marry young" said Mr. Felix.

Young marriage? Riri and Rian looked at each other. Their heads were filled with beautiful shadows as they could spend time together every day. Mr. Felix was imagining the happy day. Although there is actually still a fear of loneliness that can accompany him.

When Rian took her home, Mr. Felix held her back. Rian was worried about Mr. Aric if Riri comes home too late. A simple birthday cake came.

"So Papa prepared this after knowing I had a birthday?" ask Riri.

"Not so good. But later we will again celebrate this happy day with a much bigger and better cake" said Mr. Felix.

"It's more than enough pah. Thank you," said Riri.

Not long after, Mr. Felix invites Rian and Riri to go home. This short time for important and happy things will never be forgotten. Even in the car, Riri continued to hold his fingers that were filled with a very beautiful diamond ring.

Ma, Pah, I'm proposed. I'm going home with a son-in-law who will love me and you. Mas Rian is a new member of our family. I miss you guys. I will definitely meet you at the right time.
