The atmosphere at the cafe is getting crowded. Rian's hot head was getting uncomfortable with the condition. After his head could not find the answer to what he was asking, Rian finally decided to go home.
Rian will wait for his father to come and he will continue his act of being a detective while at home. He drove his car faster. I can't wait to find out what really happened to Mr. Felix.
Unfortunately Rian had not had time to shower and gantu clothes, Mr. Felix was already standing in the doorway. He greeted Rian with a less pleasant look.
"Father," said Rian in surprise.
"Why are you in that cafe alone? Are you having a problem with Mpus? Or with your grades?" ask Mr. Felix to the point.
Rian rounded his eyeballs perfectly. He did not expect that Mr. Felix was doing the same with him.
"Nope-no. I'm just hungry" said Rian nervously.
"Hungry? Papa didn't see any food plates on your desk. Don't try to lie to Papa, Rian!" said Mr. Felix.
"It's not a meal message because I saw Papa and went straight home when Papa was home" said Rian.
"So you saw Papa?" ask Rian.
Rian nodded. His heart was pounding unbecoming.
"Why don't you go near Papa? Sit down and order food if you're really hungry?" asked Mr. Felix while pulling Rian's hat to cover his face.
Rian lowered his head and fixed the position of his hat. He could no longer avoid. Go forward to retreat. He could only be silent and without daring to look into Mr. Felix's eyeballs.
"Rian, Papa knows you're not okay. You should have told me the same Papa. You know that Papa will always support you, no matter what. It's both about hope, and taste. Why do you always hide everything from Papa?" asked Mr. Felix in a sad tone.
"Bah, it's not so. I may be hiding something from Papa" said Rian guiltily.
Rian hugged Felix and apologized. While Mr. Felix smiled broadly when he saw Rian losing.
You can't possibly beat Papa.
The smile of victory returned Mr. Felix hid as Rian took off her embrace.
"Well, I'm sorry!" said Rian again.
"No problem. I just don't want you to repeat the same mistake" said Tuab Felix.
"will not. I promise," said Rian.
"Shower and rest. Remember if there's anything you should know there's a Papa here. Papa is always there for you" said Mr. Felix.
"definitely. I will always remember all that Pah" said Rian.
After returning to his room, Mr. Felix leaned behind the door leaf. He felt more relieved when he finally could turn things around. There are things that Rian almost knew but eventually he could make Rian no longer suspicious of him.
"Sorry Rian. It's not that Papa doesn't trust you, but you don't need to know about all of Papa's past. Your job is just to learn and realize all your dreams. It's my business. I can solve everything myself" said Mr. Felix.
Mr. Felix's phone rings back. With an agitated face, he answered the call. After the call was over, he clenched his hand.
"Based on the bad woman! Still less satisfied you messed up my life?" grouse Mr. Felix.
Mr. Felix re-set his emotions as Rian knocks on the door of his room. He was already smiling when he saw Rian coming to bring him a tray filled with lunch.
"Papa hasn't eaten yet because he was just spying on me?" rian Goda.
Mr. Felix laughed and immediately accepted his lunch. He almost forgot his lunch. Apart from his chaotic mind, he also had no appetite for food. But seeing Rian's attention, he forced himself to eat.
"Enak Pah?" ask Rian.
"Enak" replied Mr. Felix.
"For dinner, what do you want to eat?" ask Rian.
"We're eating out?" ask Mr. Felix.
"Come on Pah!" answer Rian.
"Of ordinary cafes!" mr. Felix said before they left.
"Yes Pah" replied Rian.
Having dinner together with Mr. Felix makes them feel closer. Yes, it is rare for a boy of Rian's age to be so close to his father. But that's how Rian and Mr. Felix are.
Maybe it all happened because they needed each other. Rian really needs the figure of a father and Mr. Felix needs the figure of a child. They can complement each other.
"Hope you're not ashamed to be like Papa. Although maybe later Papa is already sitting in a wheelchair," said Mr. Felix suddenly.
"Papa don't think so. Hopefully we stay this way in good health, Pah," said Rian.
"Ri, Papa's getting older. If Papa doesn't have any possessions, do you still want to take care of Papa who already has nothing?" ask Mr. Felix.
"Bah, what the hell. Better now Papa order food only," said Rian.
"Jawab first," said Mr. Felix.
"So Papa thinks I just need Papa's money? Papa's Treasure?" ask Rian.
"Ri, Papa didn't mean to offend you. Papa is only afraid that Papa's old age is very bad" said Mr. Felix.
"I wasn't just going to school to fill my brain. But Papa himself told me I had to fill my heart. Educated people do not just have to rank one. Isn't the main thing that is taste? And I learned that Pah," said Rian.
"So you're still gonna love Papa, right?" ask Mr. Felix.
"What the hell is it? Yes obviously Pah. I'll love Papa as sincerely as Papa loves me. Didn't I have nothing until now?" Rian asked back.
"You have Rian's heart and love" Felix said.
"And that's all Papa's legacy. I became like this because of Papa's teachings to me," said Rian.
"I'm so proud of you" said Mr. Felix.
Pray Papa, Rian. Pray that Papa can get out of this problem soon. Papa is afraid if it turns out Papa lost. Papa has nothing but you and Mia. But you? Papa can't prepare a company for you yet.
"If only," Not done yet Mr. Felix spoke, Rian had already cut him off.
"Enough Pah. There is no need to think about what is bad. I prefer to think of something good. Think of it as prayer." Rian looked closely at Mr. Felix.
"Ri, one more time. Papa this promise is the last one" said Mr. Felix pleading.
"What else is Pah?" ask Rian.
"If you graduated from college, but Papa couldn't build a company for you, what would you do?" ask Mr. Felix.
"I'll find a job. I know it's not easy, but that doesn't mean I should give up. I'm sure I'll definitely get Pah's job" Rian assured Mr. Felix.
"Then you will become a worker. Only an employee can be taken for granted. Not to mention the wages. Not necessarily your salary in accordance with your college struggle so far," said Mr. Felix.
"Well, a man's self-esteem is work. The problem of results is that only God has the right to judge. We're just trying to Pah. The rest is just patience and gratitude. Being a worker is no problem. Because big things start small" Rian said.
Mr. Felix smiled. He was proud of Rian's answer. Although his heart was still agitated, but at least Rian's answer could treat that bit of uneasiness.
"Why? I'm a grown-up, huh, Pah?" rian asked so confidently.
"More to old anyway. Like a ripe fruit, you're closer to rotting." Mr. Felix laughed.
"Just son," said Rian.
Rian was indeed upset by Mr. Felix's banter. But he was happy when he saw his father was seen laughing.
"Have a meal, order a meal first." Rian tried to stop Mr. Felix who was still laughing when some people were watching them.
"Yes, let's order the food" said Mr. Felix.
Mr. Felix's happy laughter was only a moment, now he was again agitated when he saw his ex-wife in the same cafe with him.
