Blood donation

Rian wriggled as the alarm went off loud beside his ear. Groped his phone and turned off the alarm that was bothering him. His eyes were still closed and Rian fell asleep again.

"Rian, Rian," called Mr. Felix while knocking on Rian's room door many times.

Rian who felt it was a dream just squirmed and pulled the blanket. He slept again. Without him knowing that Mr. Felix was grumbling outside his room.

"Riaaaan," cried Mr. Felix as he knocked on the door getting louder.

Rian woke up soon. His eyes opened perfectly. His chest is beating unbecoming. With his head still dizzy, he immediately opened the door and found Mr. Felix standing firmly in front of his room.

"Bah," Rian said in a hoarse voice while whispering his eyes.

"Jeez Rian. What time is it?" asked Mr. Felix in annoyance.

"I'm sorry, Pah" said Rian.

"Dress and go to the dining room. Papa will be waiting for you there" said Mr. Felix.

"Yes Pah" said Rian slowly.

Rian only dared to raise his head when he saw the footsteps of Mr. Felix getting away from his room. He took a shower and prepared.

The fastest shower in history that Rian has ever done puts him to shame. While tidying up his shirt, Rian saw that soap foam was still in his ears.

"It's not clean" said Rian, wiping his ears.

Looking at the clock that kept going, Rian just sprayed more perfume than usual. He immediately met Mr. Felix who was waiting for him in the dining room.

"Rian, you didn't take a shower?" asked Mr. Felix who was fanning his hand in front of his nose.

Rian raised his hand and kissed his armpit.

"Mandi," answered Rian after believing that his body was already very fragrant.

"How many bottles of perfume did you spill on your shirt?" ask Mr. Felix.

"Little bit" replied Rian slowly.

"What a little. It stung Rian very much" said Mr. Felix.

"Later also if the wind smell decreases Pah," replied Rian.

Mr. Felix some snorted and showed his dislike. The uncomfortable Rian immediately changed clothes and sprayed the perfume as usual.

"Well, this is normal" said Mr. Felix.

"Yes Pah" said Rian.

"You were like that last night? Doing errands?" ask Mr. Felix. "Are you thinking about Maudi? Or is it Mpus that keeps you from sleeping all night?" continued Mr. Felix when he saw Rian would defend himself.

Rian was silent because he was confused by the option mentioned by Mr. Felix. He just smiled while scratching his head which was not itchy.

"Breakfast first Pah," said Rian who tried to divert his language this morning.

"Mpus's business must be. Sure enough," said Mr. Felix.

"Bah, let's have breakfast." Rian is still trying not to talk about Riri this morning.

"But Papa is happy that you are getting closer to Riri. Finally you know that there are good women who deserve to be fought for" Felix said. "Father breakfast, here." Continue Mr. Felix while feeding bread into his mouth.

Rian could not answer Mr. Felix's words. He just kept quiet and continued his breakfast. They went out of the house together. The opposite direction of the office and campus kept them separated since coming out of the gate.

Like what Mr. Felix, Rian was actually waiting for Riri. But it seems like Riri did not enter today. Rian's bad thoughts were on Mr. Arics.

Rian brushed off his bad thoughts. He is always trying to think positively now. But until finally the lecture was finished, Rian could not stop thinking about Riri.

"I have to go to the hospital" Rian murmured.

"Rey, I go first!" rian patted Rey on the shoulder.

"You're going home with Riri?" ask Rey.

"No. I'm alone" replied Rian.

"He's not coming in anymore?" tanya Rey held back Rian's hand that was preparing to run away.

"I don't know" replied Rian.

Rey scrunched her forehead. He sees something strange about Rian. But his mind was distracted when Maudi called him.

Rian took a long breath. He's leaving soon. He was upset when he heard Rey was so friendly with Maudi. But this time his heart wasn't as sad as it used to be. Either because the love had begun to fade, or precisely because the pain was too often he felt.

Rian drove his car at high speed. He's headed to the hospital where Mr. Aric in nursing. There was confusion because no one told him whereabouts. Arics. He was very sure if Mr. Aric was admitted to the hospital.

Armed with such a strong sense of confidence, Rian walked into every room of the hospital that was so big. Looking for the figure of Riri and the secret room where Mr. Aric. At last he heard a woman's cry.

"Pus" call Rian.

Slowly Rian patted the shoulder of a crying woman in front of the operating room.

"Mas Rian" said Riri.

Riri who was shocked as she raised her face and saw the figure of Rian immediately hugging her.

"Pus, what's wrong with you?" ask Rian.

"Mrs. Aric Mas, Mr. Aric," replied Riri while sobbing in Rian's arms.

"Mrs. Aric why?" ask Rian who panicked.

Riri calmed herself down. He explained that Mr. Aric is in need of a quick blood donation. The blood type needed by Mr. Aric was empty at the hospital.

When he found out his blood type was the same as Mr. Aric, Rian immediately registered himself as a donor.

"Mas, I'm not sure this will be a good path. I'm scared" Riri said as she waited for Rian's lab results to come out.

"Don't be afraid! What I'm doing is my way of helping Mr. Arics. Calm down" said Rian.

Unknowingly, Rian clasped Riri's hand to strengthen her. But Riri who is unusual with such treatment makes him feel uncomfortable. Riri took her hand out of Rian's.

"I'm sorry, Mommy" said Riri.

"Oh yes. I'm the one who's sorry if you feel uncomfortable" Rian said.

They looked at the lab door. A wide smile appeared on the faces of the two when Rian could be a donor for Mr. Arics.

"I'm in!" said Rian.

"Mas, thank you!" said Riri.

Rian raised his thumb. He smiled broadly as he looked at Riri. Trying to calm Riri down if she's okay.

Time keeps rolling. Riri waited outside in agitation. Afraid of anything happening with Rian. he is also worried by Mr. anger. Aric if he knows Rian is a blood donor for him.

His anxiety grew even more when Rian's phone that was placed on Riri rang did not stop. Mr. Felix contacted Rian many times. Riri felt that all this would get complicated.

Not just the anger of Mr. Aric, but also Mr. Felix's anger at Rian for not answering his call.

"What do I have to do?" riri Gumam.

Riri seems to be walking there to try to reduce his anxiety. But he chose to drop his body on a waiting chair while crying.

"I'm sorry and thank you" said Riri.

"That's it. My ears are tired of dropping those two words" said Rian.

"Oh yes this is my phone. Papa kept calling Mas. Quickly home. Don't worry Papa" said Riri.

"Why not answer?" ask Rian.

"Where might I use someone else's phone carelessly" Riri replied.

Rian immediately contacted Mr. Felix but his phone was immediately grabbed by Riri and foiled the call.

"Don't contact here. I'm afraid Papa's worried about Mas and picked Mas up here. The problem will be more runyam Mas," said Riri.
