Miscarrying

Rian's activities were proceeding as usual. Since it's Sunday, Rian and Mr. Felix spend their time at home. This week there is no holiday or just out of the house.

"Where are you going today?" ask Mr. Felix.

"I'm not going anywhere, Pah. Where are you going?" ask Rian.

"Same. Papa's not going anywhere either" replied Mr. Felix.

Both had breakfast and agreed to spend the day at home. The most important thing when they have free time is to contact Mia and her other family in Indonesia.

Their longing for his family makes Rian and Mr. Felix want to go to Indonesia again. Especially when he saw Narendra and Naura crying calling the names of Rian and Mr. Felix.

"Mia, call Papa again. Papa couldn't bear to see them cry like that" said Mr Felix.

After the call ended, Mr. Felix thoroughly prepared for Rian's future.

"You try to graduate with good grades and master all the material you have got. We have to go back to Indonesia" Felix said.

"Yes Pah. I also want to return to Indonesia soon," said Rian.

Mr. Felix contacted some of his confidants in Indonesia. He asked them to prepare a location in the Jakarta area. Although not too close to Mia's house, at least still remain in the Jakarta area.

"Why not ask for help from Brother Mia and Brother Dion Pah?" ask Rian.

"I want them to just focus on my twin grandchildren and the company. This business can still be overcome by Papa," said Mr. Felix.

"Bah, sorry! I'm troubling Papa, " said Rian.

"Don't do that. You're Papa's son. Everything you do for your children. Mia and Dion already have their own company. Now Papa's PR is setting up a company for you" Felix said.

"If I hadn't met Papa, maybe until this I would have been a lotto seller. But destiny says something else. God has brought me to good people. I don't know what to thank you for" Rian said.

The sad atmosphere was even more felt when Mr. Felix convinced Rian if he never distinguished Mia and Rian. Though Rian was well aware of how his position between Mia and Mr. Felix.

"If there wasn't you, maybe Papa would just be a lonely old man. If you have to thank me, Papa should thank you. You've kept Papa's spirit burning. At least Papa means something to you" said Mr Felix.

"Bah," said Rian full haru.

The ringing of mobile phones diverts their novelty. Mr. Felix was very excited when he heard Rian's phone ringing. According to him, it was Mia who had contacted him back because she still missed him.

"Maudi," replied Rian slowly.

The cheerful look on Mr. Felix's face slowly faded until it finally disappeared completely.

"Papa go to the room first!" said Mr. Felix.

Rian did not understand the purpose of his father's departure. Either Mr. Felix forbids Rian from answering the call from Maudi. Or Mr. Felix really does not care at all. He ignored Maudi's call. Even so, his eyes were not separated from the screen of his phone which still continued to ring. Rian had just taken back his phone when the call had stopped.

A message came in. There was no word other than crying emoticons. Rian scrunched his forehead with mixed feelings. Her cravings were too high that her thumb was able to reply to Maudi's message.

'What?' the message was not long ago read by Maudi.

Not returning a message from Rian, Maudi called Rian. Doubtfully, Rian tried to convince himself to answer Maudi's call.

"I'm in the hospital. Can you come here now?" pinta Maudi crying.

"What are you sick with?" ask Rian to panic.

"You come here. Let me tell you here later" replied Maudi.

"Why didn't you call Rey?" ask Rian.

"It has. But the number is off" Maudi replied.

"Yes I'm there now" said Rian.

Rian knocked on Mr. Felix's closed room door so tightly. Ask permission even though he is not sure he will be given permission.

"Well, can I see Maudi in the hospital?" ask Rian slowly.

"No need to ask permission. If only Papa hadn't given permission, you'd still be whining, wouldn't you have asked Papa to tell you?" mr. Felix said without opening the door to his room.

"Well, but Maudi's here alone. His family in Indonesia. Rey is also inactive" Rian said.

"Yes, I'll be careful. I won't be long either" replied Rian.

Behind the door, Mr. Felix seemed to shake his head and smile cynically. He did not think with Rian who still cares about Maudi.

What is good about Maudi? Why is Rian so hard to get Maudi out of his life? Is he wearing pellets? Riri, in case you're not busy taking care of Mr. Aric, I'd love to ask you to wake Rian up. It seems like Rian's brain has been washed by Maudi.

But Rian is Rian. The man who still keeps his feelings for Maudi. Although the taste was not as great as it used to be, he could not leave Maudi alone in the hospital.

"Rian" said Maudi, crying in Rian's arms.

Rian who was hugged by Maudi could only be silent. His chest was pounding erratically. There was a sense of happiness at seeing Maudi need him so much as back then. Ah no. Rian immediately let go of Maudi's hand that was coiled around his waist as he recalled Rey.

"What are you sick with?" ask Rian.

"Me, me" replied Maudi trembling.

"Why you?" ask Rian.

"I-I miscarried," Maudi replied as he clasped tightly onto Rian's hand.

"What?" rian asked while releasing his grasp from Maudi.

"Rian, Rian, help me. I believe you can help me. I beg you," Maudi said.

"Who's the guy who's been impregnating you?" ask Rian.

His chest was already tight to endure the pain. He was so hurt when he found the woman he loved had given his honor to another man.

"He's not important. The important thing is that you help me" Maudi said.

"not important? Is he Rey?" ask Rian.

Maudi.

"Then who?" ask Rian.

Rian is shocked when he finds out it wasn't Rey. Means not only himself, but Rey also does not know all this incident.

"I told you he wasn't important. Please help me Rian. I want to go home," asked Maudi with eyes filled with light.

"What should I do?" ask Rian.

"Do not tell the doctor if you are that man, so that I can go home." Maudi looked at Rian expectantly.

"You're crazy! There's no way I'll admit what I never did. I don't want to. You just find the guy. He has to take responsibility" Rian said.

"Rian, if he was there I wouldn't have asked you here. I beg Rian. Just this once" said Maudi.

"I don't want to go into your trouble" said Rian.

"I'm not asking you to get into my problems. I'm just asking for your help. I want to go home" Maudi said. "I promise I won't involve you in anything related to me. This time only," continued Maudi.

Maudi pleaded and cried. He also told his stupidity because he wanted to be invited by a man he had not long known. Maudi was fooled by his handsome face and his boasting.

"You betrayed Rey" said Rian, clenching his hand.

"At that time, Rey and I had a chance. I thought Rey would leave me. But Rey is back" Maudi said in self-defense.

"And you went back to Rey while you were sleeping with that guy? Where are your hearts and brains, Maudi?" rian was upset.

"Rian I know I was wrong. I've been acting so stupid. But I want to go home" said Maudi.

After arguing for quite a while, Rian finally agreed to Maudi's request. He signed a statement given by the doctor. Before long, Maudi could already be brought home.

"Rian, thank you." Maudi hugged Rian.

Rian let go of Maudi's embrace. Even Rian moved away from the woman who had just miscarried.

"Remember Maudi! Our business is done. I don't want you to bother me anymore. Don't even involve me in your business. Whatever it is!" rian said firmly.

"Yes. I promise," said Maudi.
