Arriving at the office, Mr. Felix walked faster. Mia immediately followed and tried to calm him down.

"Not to think about. Everything is fine" said Dion, embracing Rian's shoulder.

"Thank you, brother" said Rian.

Dion invites Rian to tell a lot about his college experience and future plans. He tries to divert Rian's mind about Mr. Felix who is still upset because of Maudi's arrival.

"I'm sure one day you'll be a very successful person" Dion said.

"I want to be like Big Brother" said Rian.

"You will be much more successful than I am" said Dion.

"Ah Sister is excessive," said Rian.

Dion always believed in Rian's ability. His bitter life leads Rian to make it a whip. Now he has shown his maximum effort. Just waiting for time, Rian will definitely grow into a successful young entrepreneur.

"Rian, here! Papa wants to talk, " said Mia while waving her hand.

"Don't be afraid. Meet Papa," Dion said as he watched Rian get so tense.

"Yes, sister" said Rian.

Before long, Mia came out of the room and met Dion. Letting Rian and Mr. Felix talk to each other in his room.

"Papa's mad at Rian?" ask Dion.

"Maybe disappointed. Papa thinks it was Rian who gave the address of the house and invited Maudi. Though Mia believes that Rian is not possible to do that," said Mia.

"I'm worried about Papa and Rian's relationship" Dion said.

"What's that worried about?" mia asked with a curious face.

"Papa was too blatant to blame Maudi. And we all know how Rian loved Maudi" Dion replied.

"So I mean, Papa was wrong?" ask Mia offended.

"Not so Mia," said Dion, when he realized his wife's silence.

Dion again explained the meaning of the sentence he said. He just doesn't want the two to be bad just because of Maudi. Dion also did not endorse his relationship with Maudi. But he was worried that Rian would become depressed if he kept being pressured like that.

"So who's wrong?" ask Mia.

Dion sighed as his wife still did not forgive him.

"Nothing's wrong. Feelings cannot be forced. I'm sure Rian will also understand Papa's good intentions" Dion replied.

What Dion said is true. Rian was indeed depressed when he had to follow logic or his feelings. But he finally realized Mr. Felix's sincerity for him.

Even now, Rian was embarrassed by himself. Lately Mr. Felix has often been angry with him because of Maudi's presence. All this time Rian had never seen Mr. Felix so angry, unless it was about Maudi.

"I'm sorry Papa ya Rian" said Mr Felix.

That phrase Rian had heard a lot lately. The more you hear it, the more you feel guilty. He was sad to see Mr. Felix always look guilty for what was not his fault.

Growing up, Rian understood what Mr. Felix meant. As a father, of course Mr. Felix would want Rian to be someone who is in accordance with his expectations.

"Father, I don't know what to say and do. I can only convince myself to give the best of my life. I can't convince Papa at all. Let Papa judge for himself later," said Rian.

Mr. Felix's embrace was warm in Rian's body. There was a calmness as the older man clutched him. He's afraid he can't please Mr. Felix. While Rian can get all the happiness from Mr. Felix.

Rian gets the affection of a father and family from Mr. Felix. He also received a very good education thanks to Mr. Felix. There was no reason to disappoint the good man before him.

"When do you want to go back to Germany?" asked Mr. Felix when he had released his embrace from Rian.

Rian knows his time off is still long. But he also realized that Mr. Felix's job could not be abandoned. As for letting Mr Felix return to Germany alone, it felt impossible.

"Aren't you going to spend your vacation here?" ask Mr. Felix.

"It looks like I'll have to go back to study to prepare for the next semester" Rian replied.

"Isn't it because Papa wants to go home?" ask Mr. Felix reassuringly.

"Don't Papa need me?" ask Rian back.

"I don't need anyone" replied Mr. Felix, laughing.

Rian laughed. Mr. Felix's answer is a sentence that is often issued when both want to be accompanied but mutual prestige.

"They seem to have gotten along" Mia said as she heard her second laugh from inside the room.

"Are they not getting along?" dion asked with a plain pretended face.

"Aa's insinuating Mia?" ask Mia.

"I asked. Don't be angry" Dion replied.

Not long after Rian and Mr. Felix came out. They have permission to go home. Ah, not coming home. They want to go to one of the shopping centers. Buy souvenirs for Mr. Felix's partner. While Rian bought a special batik cloth for Mr. Arics.

"Sweet once you get to him" seduced Mr. Felix.

"I plan to meet Mr. Aric again. In order not to be ashamed, I brought this. It is nothing compared to the science he taught. But at least this could be a memento for Mr. Aric," said Rian.

"Buy a lot. Whatever, just buy it. Let Papa pay. Papa likes your way of thinking" said Mr. Felix.

Rian refused again. He felt the money he held was still enough to buy souvenirs for Mr. Arics. For Rian, gifts need not be expensive. Especially for a rich man like Mr. Arics.

Batik cloth is a symbol for Mr. Aric always remembers Rian when he sees a gift from him. Typical of Indonesia which he introduced to successful people in Germany. The price is nothing for Mr. Aric, yet Rian's sincerity will be costly in Mr.'s eyes. Arics.

"What are you shopping for?" lady Helen asked as she looked at the items that Rian and Mr. Felix were carrying.

Instead of answering, Rian could only stare in disbelief while Maudi was still in the house. While Mr. Felix just smiled there was Lady Helen and said goodbye to his room.

Rian also followed in Mr. Felix's footsteps. But his hand was held by Lady Helen. Apparently Maudi managed to instigate the woman that Rian had considered her mother.

"Rian, you're a man. Be gentle with Maudi. She's a good girl. Accompany her" whispered Lady Helen to Rian.

Rian and Maudi were only silent after Lady Helen's death. Mrs Helen wanted Rian to accompany her and talk to her. But Miss Helen's hopes ended in vain. Rian and Maudi quarreled until Maudi left the house.

"Rian, here!" said Mrs Helen to pull Rian's hand.

Take Rian to the back garden. Stay away from Mr. Felix's room.

"Is this how Mr Felix taught you to treat a woman?" ask Mrs Helen.

"Mama why?" dion was confused.

"Mama doesn't like the way you treat Maudi. You're a man. Act like men. Don't be so with Maudi" said Mrs Helen.

"Ma, me and Maudi have nothing to do" replied Rian.

"If there is nothing, there is no way Maudi came to this house many times. Learn to be a manly man. Don't hurt women" said Mrs Helen as she left Rian.

"Mama why?" rian asked confusedly.

Rian went to his room carrying an unanswered confusion. He did not know what Maudi said to Lady Helen, so in the eyes of Lady Helen only Rian was wrong.

Do not use Maudi. How could Mama not defend me at all? In my mother's eyes I was completely wrong. What did you tell Mama, Maudi?

Rian rubbed his face rough and scrambled his hair. He put his body on his bed. Close his eyes for a while and look back at the ceiling. Living his increasingly complicated life.
