Happy Birthday's

The atmosphere was momentarily silent. Rian still deduced Dion's strangely impressed answer. While Dion only observed Rian's expression in a dilemma. Between happy and confused.

Apparently Dion understood what Rian's gaze meant to her. He also explained what he meant.

"Look this." Dion confirmed his sitting position to be more comfortable. "As a man, you play an important role. You're a priest, bad for your partner, depending on how you educate him." Dion continued his words.

"So I can marry Maudi?" ask Rian.

"As long as you can change Maudi for the better, why not? The key is in you. You are ready or not. You are willing or not. Your road is still very long. Make good use of your time. I'm running around first!" said Dion.

Without waiting for Rian to comment, Dion immediately left the room. Letting Rian digest what he said himself. Dion was sure that Rian would understand his point.

After the door closed, Rian recalled Dion's words. He tried to translate the meaning of every sentence he could hear. Until he finally stopped at the conclusion that made him horrified himself.

Can Maudi change?

Rian took a long breath. It was impossible for him to change Maudi to follow him. Maudi is quite selfish and always dominant in a relationship. He was not sure if Maudi could follow him.

Because of Dion's words, somehow Rian became hopeful again with Maudi. Even though the expectations are very small.

"Rian," call Mr. Felix.

Rian was shocked when Mr. Felix opened the door to his room.

"Papa" said Rian.

"Why you?" ask Mr. Felix.

"It's okay," Rian replied with as much ease as possible.

"We're going home tomorrow?" ask Mr. Felix.

"Tomorrow?" ask Rian.

"Why?" ask Mr. Felix.

"Ah no. I just want to say goodbye to the kids" replied Rian.

"You can say goodbye tomorrow" said Mr. Felix casually.

"Yes Pah" replied Rian.

After that Mr. Felix came out of Rian's room. Returning alone made Rian feel lonely. Home tomorrow? This is even very far from his plan that will spend his time off in Indonesia.

The next morning, Rian was ready. All his stuff is neatly packed in his suitcase. But as he exited the room, he did not find Mr. Felix.

"Where are you going?" ask Mia.

"Back, sister" replied Rian.

"Where to?" ask Mia.

"To Germany, replied Rian.

"You're mad at me?" ask Mia.

"No," Rian replied as he shook his head quickly.

"Then why are you going home?" ask Mia.

"Papa brought me home today" replied Rian.

"Papa was still sleeping when you were ready to go home. If I'm wrong, I'm sorry. Don't be like Rian," said Mia sadly.

"Sister, I don't mean anything like that. I'm really going home with Papa because Papa can't leave the company for too long" Rian said.

"Papa's evidence is still sleeping" said Mia.

Rian frowned. He couldn't believe Mr. Felix was still sleeping. Though Mr. Felix himself made sure Rian to go home today.

"Om Riaaaaan" Yaza shouted.

"Yaza?" rian did not believe.

"I miss you" said Yaza, hugging Rian.

"Om too" replied Rian.

"Misa was here on purpose?" ask Rian.

"Yes, I'm intentionally leaving Yaza here. Can you?" ask Maya.

"Can, can. Let Yaza be here with Rian," Mia replied.

Rian is confused. Yaza was entrusted with him, while he himself had plans to return to Germany. Yeah, though not sure if he's really going home.

"I'll excuse you, Mi. Rian, I'll take Yaza for a second!" said Maya.

"Let's wait!" said Mia.

"Why?" ask Maya.

"Mia's going to the office too. Looks like we're the bus going together" replied Mia.

"Then Dion?" ask Maya.

"My husband left first," replied Mia.

"Oh come!" take Maya.

"Rian, be careful at home!" said Mia.

"But sister," said Rian nervously.

"When Narendra and Naura wake up, tell me that Dion and I are gone." Mia waved her hand leaving Rian who was still staring in confusion.

"Om Riaaaaan" cried Dandi.

Not yet over Rian's anxiety, he was again surprised by Dandi's arrival. The tiny body quickly embraced Rian. Jammed with Yaza who had already hugged Rian.

"Who's the same here?" ask Rian.

"Send by Papa" answered Dandi.

"Where's the father?" ask Rian.

"To the office" replied Dandi.

"Mama's got business, om. Let's play om," said Dandi.

Rian is pulled by Dandi and Yaza towards a special room for children. To be honest, Rian had indeed really enjoyed this kind of time. Playing with small children, is a way Rian forget for a moment the burden on his head and shoulders.

It's different for now. Rian felt now his head was confused thinking about what was going on with his life. He had to take care of the children, but the suitcase was waiting.

Not to mention Mia and Dion and Maya who have left so early. He was more confused when Mr. Felix who until now has not woke up as well.

"Om Riaaaan" shouted Narendra and Naura simultaneously.

"Hi" said Rian.

Rian and his four nephews played together. Trying to forget the burden inside. Slowly, he was already drifting away with the children who seemed happy with his presence.

"Rian," call Mr. Felix.

"Well, just woke up?" ask Rian.

"I'm sorry Papa's bad luck" replied Mr. Felix.

"Then the plan to go home?" ask Rian.

"Tomorrow," replied Mr. Felix so casually.

Mr. Felix is soon joined by his four grandchildren and Rian. They play together, spend time building fond memories with those cute kids. A time he will miss when he returns to Germany.

"Have you had breakfast?" ask Mr. Felix.

Rian shakes. I forgot about breakfast this morning.

"Wait a minute!" said Mr. Felix.

Using a cell phone, Mr. Felix asked for a breakfast menu to be delivered to the room immediately. Ah, not breakfast. It's nine o'clock.

"Let's have breakfast!" said Mr. Felix.

"Why not eat?" ask Rian.

"Papa ate. Bribe the children" said Mr. Felix.

Rian immediately ate and fed the children. They look so greedy. Mr. Felix saw sincerity in Rian. He believes that someday, Rian will really take care of them like he is looking after Rian today.

"Where are you going?" asked Mr. Felix when he saw Rian standing up.

"You saved this," answered Rian lifting up the empty plate and glass.

"Don't!" said Mr. Felix.

"Don't you?" rian asked confusedly.

"I mean just keep it there. There will be people who take the dirty dishes" replied Mr. Felix.

"Let me just Pah. Just keep this. Not long," said Rian.

"You better spend your time with them. Papa doesn't want you to lose this moment" Felix said.

"Thank you Pah" said Rian.

Rian is back playing with the kids. Mr. Felix also comes into play, occasionally he captures those happy moments in his sophisticated mobile camera, the latest output.

It doesn't feel like time is getting any more noon. While playing, suddenly someone knocked on the door.

"Who?" shouted Mr. Felix.

There's no answer. Only the sound of a knock was heard a second time.

"Let me just open it" said Rian.

"Happy birthday" said Mia, Maya and Sindi simultaneously.

Rian only looked at his three brothers with a confused look. Between sad, happy, moved, all mixed in his chest.

"Waaaah, tofu's birthday cake. Om Rian's birthday?" ask Naura.

"Yes. Today is Om Rian's birthday" replied Mia.

"Blow candles. It will melt into the cake" said Sindi.

"Eh yes," said Rian.

After blowing out the candle, the sound of applause and congratulations flowed for Rian. Rian still could not believe what he was going through right now.

"Happy birthday, Rian," said Mr. Felix as he spread his arms.

"Papa, thank you so much." Rian immediately hugged Mr. Felix.

"Mia, why are you crying?" ask Sindi.

"I'm moved" Mia replied as she rubbed her cheek.

"You're crying too" Maya pointed to Sindi. "Me too" he continued, rubbing his cheek.

"You guys," said Mr. Felix.

"So this is why Papa delayed our return?" ask Rian.

"Mia asked Papa to delay our return. You should know that this is a form of Mia's affection for you" Felix said.

"Sister Mia, thank you so much!" said Rian.

Seeing Mia already covered in tears, Rian immediately hugged Mia. The gentle woman was crying in Rian's arms.

"I'm sorry if I overreact to you sometimes" Mia said.

"I'm the one who should apologize to Brother. But one thing you should know, I will not snatch anything and anyone from you. So never be jealous again!" said Rian while rubbing Mia's cheek.

Mia smiled and nodded.

"I want the cake" said Naura.

"Me too" said Narendra, Yaza, and Dandi.

"Let's cut the cake. We're sharing ya!" rian said with an expanding smile on his lips.
