This morning Rian did not leave for college. There should be morning classes.

"Why not go to college?" asked Mr. Felix when they were in the dining room.

"I'm in afternoon Pah. Take evening classes" replied Rian.

"Since when?" ask Mr. Felix.

Apparently all this time Mr. Felix really paid attention to Rian's lectures. He even missed his adopted son's college schedule.

"This time, Pah. I'll try" replied Rian.

"Ok" said Mr. Felix, nodding his head.

That simple. Seems not to care much. When Mr. Felix stepped out of the main gate, he immediately contacted his men. Figuring out why Rian took the afternoon class.

"Rian, Papa just wants the best. Not for Papa, all that Papa did for you too. Papa just wants you to succeed" murmured Mr. Felix.

Guilt continued to envelop Mr. Felix. But he has to be firm. He was afraid that Rian would step wrong.

"Ah, careful!" mr. Felix said as his car came to a sudden stop.

Mr. Felix shook his head as he looked at Maudi who was about to graze his car. He asked his driver not to prolong the problem. Lazy if you have to deal with Maudi.

It's lunchtime but Mr. Felix hasn't been informed about Rian. To change his mind, he called Mia. Mia is her biological child who lives in Indonesia.

Over the phone, Mr. Felix asks Mia to remind Rian. He also told what became of his anxiety to Mia.

"Yes Pah. Later Mia calls Rian and talks to him. Rian must have understood what Papa meant," said Mia.

After the call ended. Mia immediately contacted Rian. There was no need to be a stale base because Rian already understood the meaning. Mia always talks blatantly to Rian.

"I know I was wrong, brother. I have also decided not to get in touch with Maudi anymore" Rian said.

"You love her?" ask Mia.

At Mia, Rian would easily be honest about her feelings. He acknowledged the taste he kept for Maudi. But Rian also realized that the taste he stored was not worth maintaining.

"I know it can't be brushed off easily. But we have a logic that controls the heart. Do not be pessimistic, there are still many women who can support your goals. You just haven't found it yet" said Mia.

"Yes, sister" replied Rian.

Rian realized that all this time he had put his logic aside. He only thinks about his feelings. Fortunately, many people rebuked him.

Not only Mia, Rian also has Sindi and Maya who he already considers as his own biological brother. In the past, Rian was closer to Sindi. But after college, Rian actually more often communicate with Mia.

In addition to Rian's two cousins from Mia who often called him, Rian also often asked about college assignments with Mia. Mia is a smart woman who can always help her make Rian amazed.

Admiration for Mia, slowly makes Rian try to erase his feelings for Maudi. He wants a woman like Mia. Mature, independent, intelligent, yet not forgetting her obligations as a mother and wife.

"Intentionally avoiding me? Run away from mistakes and forget about responsibility?" asked Maudi when he met Rian.

Apparently Maudi was deliberately waiting for Rian. His sense of regret made him willing all day waiting for Rian's arrival.

"I'm sorry" said Rian, looking down.

"I'm sorry? You think enough with an apology? You're a man. Where is your responsibility? Leaving a woman out on the streets, I don't think it's the nature of a real man. You suck," said Maudi.

"You ask me?" maudis asked in disbelief.

Rian silent. He was confused as to what to answer. Not to mention the clock is getting closer. An increasingly upset Maudi turns out to be making a painful decision for Rian.

"From now on, don't ever call me. Between you and me there is no relationship. Not even you, not my friend. I don't know you" said Maudi.

Rian could only hold back the tightness in his chest when he saw Maudi leave leaving him further and further away. Legs limp. He felt his world was destroyed.

Is this like heartache? Lord, strengthen me. My life goal is still very long. But Maudi's words seemed to make me have no purpose in life anymore.

The greeting from one of his friends made Rian aware. He immediately went to class. Trying to walk even though his legs feel very weak. Try to concentrate when his head is full of burdens.

While at the same time but in a different place, Mr. Felix seemed silent when he found out about Rian. He rubbed his glasses and massaged his head that felt heavy.

Mr. Felix came home when Rian was not yet at his house. The rare thing that Mr. Felix experienced. But he was quite happy when he knew Rian's struggle to fight for his ideals.

"Why haven't you slept?" rian asked when he went home.

"intentionally. Papa is waiting for you" replied Mr. Felix.

"Why? Did I make Papa worry?" ask Rian.

"Sit down!" said Mr. Felix patting the chair beside him.

Rian kept his bag and sat down next to Mr. Felix.

"Once again Papa has no intention of getting in the way of your love story Rian. Papa has no right at all to the affairs of your heart. Maybe Papa is too selfish. But Papa wants what's best for you" Felix said.

Many times Mr. Felix reminded that Rian was trying to put his lectures together. According to Mr. Felix, if one day Rian succeeds then it will not be difficult to find a partner. Rian even had to choose which one suited him the most.

"I should be thanking Papa. Papa's concern with Brother Mia made me realize from my biggest mistake so far," said Rian.

Mr. Felix was calm when he heard that Rian preferred his education to that of Maudi. Although he knows that Rian's feelings are not good right now, but someday Rian will be much better without Maudi's presence in his life.

After Maudi cut ties with Rian, Rian often returned home in frustration. Maudi is dating a classmate named Rey. Equally Indonesian with a pretty good achievement.

Although without a scholarship, Rey is a smart student. With Rian's superiority, Rey is much easier to blend in with her new surroundings.

Rey's handsome face, wit, and financial condition attracted Maudi. Especially with Rian. Maudi often showed off his affection with Rey.

Every now and then, when his heart was not holding the weight in his heart, Rian would contact Mia and tell her what happened. Thanks to Mia, Rian was much calmer.

One semester has passed. Even with a lot of drama, finally Rian still got the best value on the campus. Rey's grades were significantly lower than the previous semester's.

Rian, let's thank your already strong heart for accepting and living all this. Thanks to your disappointment, you can still finally maintain your achievements. Now you look at Rey! Messy. The value of his lectures dropped considerably just because of Maudi. Congratulations and spirit hey me.

Rian went home past Maudi and Rey who were in a campus corridor. With a cynical face, Rian passed by. There was satisfaction in his heart.

"What?" maudia asked with emotion.

"A passenger passed by," Rian replied as he held back his laughter.

While Rey could only turn her face away as Rian passed before her. There was shame and disappointment when I saw Rian waltzing with complete freedom. While Rey herself attended college with pressure from Maudi. This and that rule Maudi applied even without Rey's consent.
