First Night #2

Toni shook her head

"Other than that little boy."

I laugh.

"Otherwise Dee" Toni stopped talking.

I wonder why else out there.

"Dad, mom.. Sorry, Toni thinks, Nadia again, come in, Mom" asked Toni.

"Dad, mother." I said, and took them to sit on the couch.

"Toni.." Dad called Toni's name.

I held mom's hand. What's the matter exactly.

"Previously, mom and dad are sorry, because mom and dad don't have any wedding gifts for you. Mom and Dad just have this"

Mother handed over a Qur'an, and gold bars.

"What is this, Mom, dad?" I was surprised to see what they brought.

"Toni, Ayu, make this Qur'an your guide. Ton, I realize, has not been the perfect father for ayu, but I know, you will take care and guide ayu. Father's work is done, I give you my most precious treasure, Ayu." I held Toni's hand while crying.

Mother was the same, crying hearing father's words.

"Dad, mother, thank you for giving birth to a woman like Ayu. Patient, independent, and beautiful, Toni could not say anything, but, God willing, with God's permission, Toni will guard and become a priest for Ayu."

"Father and mother are relieved and sincerely release our son. Well, we just want to hand this over and hand Ayu over to you. Rest up. Tomorrow, my mom and dad are back in the village. Tomorrow you also have to go to Bali" father woke up from his seat, and took mother's hand.

I hugged both of them.

"At least there are more guests" he said as he sat behind the door.

I laughed funnyly at his face and his childlike behavior.

And sure enough, the door was knocked back.

"Really, right?" he said while standing, I smiled amusedly.

"Night, sir. Here's the order." said the hotel employee.

"Thank you" he said, tipping the employee.

"No, sir, it's my job."

"It's okay, but can I ask you a favor?"

"What is that, sir?"

"I asked at my door, there was writing, don't disturb" Toni said.

"Okay, sir" said the official, smiling

I shook my head.

Toni locked the door.

"Why is that?" much

"Dad, mom has come here, nothing else matters, others will want to disturb us" he said, opening the food.

"Baby, let's just eat. I was hungry" he said as he opened the food,

"Here, sit here" he asked.

And we had dinner together in the bridal room, once in a while he told everyone who was present at the party, our dinner was very warm with stories that made us smile.

After eating, I immediately took a clean shower, and completed my task with 4 rakaats. While Toni has done it first, and now has fallen asleep on the mattress with a sound.

I pulled my blanket, I looked at him who was very tired, he said,

"Thank you, baby" I said as I tidied up her hair that covered her eyes.
