Geck.
Geck.
Geck.
“Log in!” Rava said coldly, yet very authoritative. Sitting behind a desk in a white shirt suit with a wrinkled forehead.
“Why tell Ara to come?” Ara asked without further ado, looking at Rava who was still struggling with her work. A second later the figure who had been reluctant just to just glance directly stood up with a smile. Stepping wide and clutching the little shoulder of the lover.
“Taxi online is not late to pick you up?” Rava asked without answering Ara's question. He led her to sit on the long sofa in the not-so-big room.
“No, even faster 5 minutes than the hour that Mas said.” Said Ara while sitting herself down. The black sling bag strap still hangs on Ara's left shoulder, splitting her chest and ending with a semicircular bag resting on her thigh.
“Mas busy?” Ara asked, looking at Rava who was smiling happily while rubbing the top of her head.
“Ngak.” Answer Rava quickly does not fit the facts. In fact, Rava's work has piled up and mounted.
If Rava had continued his father's struggle in life, now Rava is struggling to build his own business from the ground up. Indeed, the status of Rava is still the highest shareholder of PT ELANG AKIRA, but he will not plunge into the management of the company if it is not about important and critical matters.
Slowly Rava wants to realize and raise Ara's childhood wish, of course without Ara's knowledge. Let's just say it's a surprise as well as a future investment both of them.
“So Ara was told here for what?” Said Ara while circulating her gaze. Researching a minimalist room that feels very comfortable.
“Before sometime, Darling.” Moving on from her seat, Rava said as she stepped away, approaching her desk picking up a stack of books dominated by bright colors.
“Try see this, Yang.” Rava said while presenting a book that read ‘Your Dream Day’ on the front cover. Looks very elegant with gold Glitter patterned writing on the white cover of bone decorated picture of a pair of rings embedded in the ring fingers of two people of different types. Without mentioning more clearly, Ara already knew about what the contents of all the thin books that Rava brought.
“This thing, Mas?” Ara asked to confirm the contents of her mind, matching what had crossed the imagination with the answer that Rava would give.
Opening the first leaf, Rava chose to show a complete picture with a variety of explanations that were more than enough to answer Ara's question.
“This?” Said Ara full of questions with a frown, not do not know the purpose of disguised Rava, but there is something that makes Ara immediately fixated. Confused, awkward and doubtful, that was what Ara might feel.
“Mas has an acquaintance who opened WO, so yesterday the reunion time just ask.” Kilah Rava, in fact, has been a few days he was secretly looking for a wedding organizer that is quite famous in City B, as well as looking for information through acquaintances of his business partners.
“Mas just want us to take a look first. During the preparation later must be a lot of things that want to be changed, but there is no harm in looking at this. If there is a match with your taste, we can use for our wedding later.” Rava said as calmly as possible still trying to interpret the eyes of Ara's riled eyes.
"One month after your graduation, three months more a week from now, want to be Mas's wife?” Saying as he grabbed Ara's fingers in his grasp, Rava could feel the jitters radiating to Ara. The tiny finger that was used to being warm turned ice-cold in Rava's grasp. Trying to think of the effect of air conditioning as the cause, Rava rubbed the back of Ara's hand slowly.
“Mas, our wedding.” Pulling slowly his hand away from Rava, Ara said softly hanging, his tongue seemed unable to continue the sentence that had been perfectly arranged in the brain.
“Why with our wedding?” Rava asked still in a soft voice, choosing to flip through a book in his hand. There was no denying Rava's hunch that something bad was going to happen. He did not know what might happen, but Ara's different attitude frightened him.
“Can be delayed again?” Ara's speech was even more soft, almost like a very subtle faint whisper.
Like an electric shock that strikes suddenly, Rava is only able to sculpt surprised. Instantly Rava's mind was empty even though a pair of pupils of his eyes were fixedly staring at Ara who was looking down while squeezing her fingers.
“A year away, can?” Said Ara still with her head lowered deeper and deeper.
“Indeed why should we retreat until that long?” Rava asked in a limp voice, his eyes glaring, the twinkle of happiness instantly disappeared, disappearing into oblivion without any remnant.
“Ara wants to work first, Mas.” Ara replied with a bold look at Rava, but only briefly. Even so, Ara was able to capture the look of disappointment from Rava's hardened facial lines.
Closing his eyes and exhaling deeply, Rava still tried to be calm. He did not want Ara to see the overflowing emotions that were already rebelling within him. “After we get married you can still work, that's if you want. I promise I won't ban you.”
“But different, Mas.” Ara interrupted Rava's words. After Ara thought again, she wanted to jump into the workforce first before marrying Rava.
Feeling not yet a dutiful child and a responsible Big Brother, that was the reason Ara wanted to postpone her marriage to Rava. Although Rava said no prohibition, but now for Ara all that will feel different from the status of marriage.
Shallowest? Yes, Ara justified her overly shallow thoughts. But it was like that which Ara now felt and wanted.
“What's different, honey? You can still work. Because of status? Mas sure all that will not disturb and affect anything.” Kneeling before Ara, Rava stared at Ara's downcast face with teary eyes. I don't know what Ara was thinking that made her hold back crying.
Wanting Rava to shout angrily, but Rava more want to hold Ara tightly in his arms, convincing the heart that is shaky to return to its original place.
“See Mas here.” Cupping both sides of Ara's cheeks, Rava smiled stiffly. Trying to transfer the tempestuous love that will not be daunted by anything that will happen.
“You want to work or prefer at home, Mas will always support your decision. Do not make the status of marriage as a reason you feel constrained, because Mas is always on your side.” Despite the fear, Rava is still able to control himself. Evidently the words that Rava spoke softly, everything was clear so that Ara was not hurt through the sentence that came out of her lips.
“Ara wants to work more freely, Mas. Sorry.” Ara's speech this time ignited the emotions that Rava had been resistant to. Disappointment and anger are clearly reflected in the face and body gestures of Rava who is now away from Ara.
Clenching tightly and patting her hair rough, Rava stood her back to Ara. “Actually you want to or not be Mas's wife? Why does everything seem to be delayed and pushed back continuously?” Rava said flatly, reluctant to see Ara which certainly only makes Rava feel unwanted.
