Wizard Runners
Chapter 34's

Thump!

Aev groaned as he opened his eyes. Through the window, he could see

that the first light of dawn had just begun to appear. Half-conscious, he

wondering what just disrupted his sleep.

Thump! Thump!

This time, he realized that the voice was coming from the door. Somebody

knocking door.

“Who is this?!” he called.

“Time to wake up!”

Hearing that the voice was Lord Aang's voice, Aev hurriedly got up

from the bed. It had been more than two weeks since he had last seen

signs of his host, but after all the men did it for him,

the last thing he wanted was to offend her.

When he opened the door, he saw Lord Aang standing outside, wearing

simple brown clothes. Once again he was amazed at the size of the man – him

it looks like a living mountain.

“Today, we start your training,” said Lord Aang, smiling brightly. “You

got enough time to recover, and then some. Now, it's time to work

hard,”

Aev nodded. That's right – he's fully recovered, and a few days

lastly, he had spent a lot of time exploring the estate with Aang

Feng, enjoy the food, and spend a long morning sleeping.

Now, it seems, peace and tranquility are finally over.

In a hurry, he changed into simple clothes, then stepped out

from door. Already, he felt excited by the opportunity to learn

new skills.

“Follow me,” Lord Aang said as soon as Aev stepped out. Soon, he

go running.

Aev rushes behind him, but he quickly discovers that he

I can barely follow the guy. Regardless of its size, Lord Aang was more

fast and more nimble than Aev could have imagined, and even ran

at full speed he had difficulty only matching the speed of a man

that's.

After a few minutes of running as fast as he could, Aev found himself

really tired. Gasping loudly, he doubled down, trying to pull

breaths.

“Use circulation technique to recover.” Lord Aang stopped behind him,

but unlike Aev, he shows no signs of fatigue the same

once. From what Aev could tell, not even the man's breath was

the slightest.

Aev did what Lord Aang said and used a circulation technique

which he has been practicing for the past few weeks. Tired like him, though,

it took him some effort to find the concentration he needed, but

after several attempts he succeeded. In a few moments, he felt

fatigue subsided.

“Good,” said Lord Aang with a nod. “One more time, follow me.”

Once again Lord Aang went running, and once again Aev followed in

behind him.

They spent several hours training this way, with Aev

following Lord Aang by running fast until he could not run anymore,

then use a circulation technique to recover in a fraction of the time from

which should have been taken otherwise.

Each time, Aev found it a little easier to use the circulation technique, which was,

and immediately, he can start it as soon as he stops running.

“It looks like you're used to it,” said Lord Aang. “But now, try

use this technique when you run,”

Aev was almost stunned. Suddenly, he understood that circulation technique

he can do more than help her recover.

Seeing Aev's surprised expression, Lord Aang grinned in agreement. “I know you

finally know. Come on, just try.”

Eager to see what would happen, Aev started running again,

although this time, his steps were a little slower than before when

he tried to focus on using the circulation technique at the same time.

After a while, he realized that even if the idea seemed

it was too difficult if he stood still and could focus his intentions, but when

he ran, his body moved constantly, and it became much more difficult

to distribute his Essence.

Just a few minutes later he stopped, completely exhausted. Yang

surprisingly, he found that using the technique while running was much more

weight than running alone. It was like trying to make a fine painting

while at the same time performing wild dances.

“Not so easy, is it?” Lord Aang said while chuckling.

“I don't understand why this is so difficult,” Aev said. He can run

and he could circulate his Essence, yet do both at the same time

simultaneously proved almost impossible.

“This technique requires you to be fully aware of your body,” says

Lord Aang, “but when you force yourself, your body keeps changing.”

With a nod, he added, “There is only one way to learn it. “

“What is it?” Aev asked excitedly.

“Continue practicing!” Lord Aang laughed roaringly.

Aev's face fell, but he remembered the man's words inwardly. While

sighing, he came back running, while continuing to try to do the technique

circulations.

The following hours were exhausting, both mental and physical. Sometimes Aev

had to rest for a while to recover some energy, but other than that, he

not wasting time, practicing continuously.

It was already past noon when Lord Aang finally stopped him.

“Enough for today,” said the man. “Currently, all you need is

good food and plenty of rest. We will continue your training tomorrow.”

After making little progress in the past few hours, Aev did not

it might help but feel disappointed. Although he was exhausted, some parts

of him wanting to continue training, at least until he could see some

outcomes.

Then, a thought entered his mind, and he turned to Lord Aang.

“Master Aang,” he started.

“Uncle Bear,” Lord Aang corrected it.

“Uncle Bear,” says Aev, although he still feels uncomfortable talking

with that man so casually, “can Aang Feng join us

in training tomorrow?”

“Learning my secret is not enough?” Lord Aang asked, looking comforted.

“Now you want to share it too?”

Aev felt embarrassed when making such a request from someone

that helped him a lot, but he didn't give up. He owed Aang Feng

at least this much, he thought.

“Aang Feng is part of the Aang Clan,” Aev said. “If you can

teach me, of course it's okay to teach him too?”

Mr. Aang chuckled. “It's not as simple as you think. You're an outsider, man,

and what I teach you won't have much effect on the clan. If

I taught him, on the other hand ..”

The man looked at Aev with a inspecting look. Finally, he nodded,

and a big smile once again appeared on his face.

“Alright,” said. “I think if I teach you, he'll find out.

After all, there are no secrets between lovers.”

Aev cleared his throat loudly, desperately hoping that Lord Aang would never

repeating those words in front of Aang Feng.

“And in addition,” Lord Aang continued, grinning cunningly,

“the ad can do it with some vibrating. The gray old fox

it has grown too comfortable.” He nodded again, looking firmly at the

his eye. “Alright, go get the girl.”

Although he did not fully understand what Lord Aang was talking about, Aev

it faintly sensed that it was the man's decision to teach Aang Feng

it has implications beyond just learning a few techniques.

However, he was not too worried about it – if Aang Feng was happy

just meeting Lord Aang, he would definitely be overjoyed at the opportunity to

taught by him.

With a nod of thanks to Lord Aang,
