Wizard Runners
Chapter 30's

Inside the Aev rampaged bursts of raw Essence, flowing through his veins

like a terrible storm. That's more than it can contain, more than it can

he thinks maybe.

He had taken out ten Opening Realm Pills when he understood that

Stormleaf was planning to kill him, and now, Essence was within them

erupted in his body.

Taking a pill was a crazy decision, but not a pill he took without

long thought. Each Pill of the KB Realm contained the raw Essence of the Grandmaster

defeated, and if he was able to use that power, perhaps he would

have the opportunity to escape the situation alive.

It was a wild gamble, but it was the only thing he could think of that

maybe give him a small chance of survival.

“Who are you?” Stormleaf asked. “Do you kill

our brothers?”

While there was some fear on the faces of his two friends, Stormleaf herself

it doesn't seem to care a bit. If anything, his expression was curiosity,

it was as if he had just discovered a new puzzle that he wanted to solve.

“You ... will ..” Aev tries to say those words, his body turning

pain when Essence burns inside him. With a last resort, he

screaming, “Go!”

“I don't think I will,” Stormleaf replied calmly. “Again, who are you?”

When he said those words, he extended his hand, and

an invisible force hit Aev, sending his body flying backwards.

Aev hit the ground with a loud noise. Among the pain of Essence

flooding his body and the force of the blow, Aev felt that he was about to faint.

Nevertheless, he forced himself to stand up, ignoring the taste

the pain even then caused his vision to blur. Temporal

Essence rampaged inside him, he tried to force it into his hands, like

what he will do with Master Joko's fireball technique.

If he could release the power that was now boiling within him,

perhaps he would have a chance to defeat Stormleaf and escape

self with his life.

Yet there was too much Essence for him to command, and he was only capable

control a little of him. However, even that, many times more than

whatever he had before.

Stormleaf approached Aev slowly, an amused expression on her face.

“It wasn't you who killed our brothers, right?” Stormleaf

shaking his head. “Actually, I doubt this Essence is even yours.

Which begs the question ... how do you get it?”

Aev was just back on his feet when an invisible punch hit him.

Once again he flew, his body swept away like a leaf torn from the ground

branches in a terrible storm.

Once again he fell to the ground, and he could feel that he was injured.

But the pain from the blow was nothing compared to

the suffering caused by Essence inside his body, and he felt

it was as if he would be torn from within.

“Do you take the KB Realm Pill?” Stormleaf's expression changed thinking

for a moment, but then he shook his head. “There's too much Essence

just for one pill. You're not stupid enough to take two, are you?”

Aev stood still, ignoring Stormleaf's words. It takes all his effort

to stay conscious, but still, the Dzat in his body increased by

quickly, and so will the pain that now threatens to take hold

his mind.

“Even more than that? Three, maybe?” Stormleaf laughing. “You think you can

using that stolen Essence against me?”

Without even trying to answer, Aev desperately tried to direct the Essence

raw into his hands and away from the rest of his body. There is however

too many, too many,

Master Joko, a cruel smile on his lips. “He suffered quite a lot before

implode.

Destroying some buildings too.” Ignoring the words of Stormleaf, Aev

pushing both hands forward, and using all of his determination to force

The essence that had gathered in his hand was pointed out.

For a moment, nothing happened. But then, a burst of Essence

it came out quickly like a tidal wave breaking through a dam, no

controlled and unstoppable.

Waves of Essence caught the magicians of the Academy unprepared, slamming

they're like bulls hitting grasshoppers.

Stormleaf staggered back a few steps, but her two friends did not

that lucky. Both of them exploded in a rain of blood and gore,

completely unable to withstand the waves of Essence that came charging at them.

“How many pills do you take?!” The Stormleaf before

it disappeared in an instant, and there was panic in his voice.

Aev didn't respond to – he couldn't possibly speak if he wanted. The essence

within him had built into a raging inferno, and he felt as if

every inch of his body was burned with the fire of a thousand suns. Only through will

hard enough he could stay conscious.

The attack only unleashed a small piece of Essence that was still piling up on

in him, and he knows that if he has a chance to survive

alive, he had to let go of more.

“You can't—”

Stormleaf's words were interrupted when another wave of Essence struck him,

much stronger than the previous one, swept him off his feet and sent him off

to ground.

“Stop!” Stormleaf shouted, but it was useless.

Aev no longer cares about witches. The only thought left

his mind was that he had to let go of Essence who ate it from within

and send it off from her and Aang Feng.

Again, the raw Essence exploded, and once again, there were several times more

many of them existed only a few moments before.

The Stormleaf that was blocking it was no problem. Even if the witch

still alive, he was like an ant blocking the incoming wave,

unable to hold it in the least.

At this moment, Essence no longer exploded, and a hint of its control

the previous Aev possessed had completely disappeared.

A seemingly endless flood of Essence emerged from his hands – Fire,

Wind, Earth, Water and many other types mixed into one within

an avalanche of destruction, obliterating everything that stood in front of him.

Aev felt as if his body was being crushed. The power within him is still

building up faster than he could let go, and he could feel

that if he stopped the flow even for a second, he would be consumed

the whole.

He forced himself to walk forward as the flow of Essence continued.

Even though he was just barely conscious, some parts of him still knew

that he had to escape from Aang Feng.

He did not know how many steps he had taken. All he felt was taste

the endless pain that left part of his body untouched, and

the overwhelming power that emerged from his hand, destroyed everything that was

touched it.

Finally, Aev felt his last shard of consciousness begin to disappear,

and he knelt down. However, with all the power he could muster, he

continued to take out Essence from within his body.

Finally, he could not take it anymore.

The world is dark.
