Wizard Runners
Episode 20's

“Kakakbula!”

Aev knelt beside his friend's immobile body. Now danger

already gone, he was instantly worried about the bulla, which had been attacked by

witch attacks Academy.

He was relieved, when he knelt down he could hear the bulla groaning. Him

it was painful, but at least he survived. The others, Aev knows, aren't as lucky

that's.

Amar opened his eyes. “Do I get it?” he immediately asked,

even though saying those words takes effort.

“True,” says Aev. There was no point in telling him now that it was necessary

half a dozen initiates to take down the Academy's master.

“Bags broke my arm,” katabula. While holding his right arm

the limp one, he slowly sat down, frowning as he moved his

wounded. “So, did we win?” He looked towards the rest of the monastery grounds,

and a look of astonishment appeared in his eyes.

Aev nodded. “Mr Emberworthy beat them.”

Following the matabula, Aev looked over to the monastery grounds. The view is almost

make him sick.

Almost a building still stands. Wherever he looked, his yard

filled with debris and debris. His heart sank when he saw

many bodies were lying among the ruins.

At that moment, Master Usep approached them. Despite his own injuries,

the man immediately began to inspect the injured initiates after Mr. Joko

defeat the last witch of the Academy.

“Is he okay?” he asked Aev, his voice thick because

apprehensive.

“He is good enough to speak for himself,” katabula, grin forced

it appeared on his face. He's obviously still in pain.

“This is all because of me ..” said Aev. “All this ... it's my fault.”

“No,” says Master Usep. There was a slight trembling in his voice. “This

action Windballad. He invited them. He caused this.” Aev

noticed he was not using his master's title.

“But they came here for me,” Aev said.

Master Kadir has no answer. That's right, Aev knows. If he doesn't

coming to the monastery, none of this will happen. The academy has come for him,

and he's alone.

“They will do it.” The voice was Mr. Joko, who appeared without

be seen. “You think they'll send witches for soldiers just for

an initiator?”

Master Cadir cut “Kamu’

“They are planning a massacre,” said Mr. Joko. “They just failed

anticipate who it is.”

“But why?” Aev asked. That doesn't make any sense. Windballad has

offer to help the Academy. Why did they attack him and the monastery?

“Academy does not comply with rivals,” said Mr. Joko. “In the past, Windballad monastery

small enough to ignore. But this ...” He pointed towards the monastery. “This is not

will never be able to survive.”

“Then why did they not act earlier?” Adir Kadir asked. Him

doesn't sound sure.

“Until now, Windballad is not worth paying attention to,” said Mr. Joko.

“But as the monastery grows, so does the danger. Without Windballad's invitation, though,

it might be a few more decades before they come, but they will eventually

come by. “

“Where is Windballad now?” Aev asked, remembering that Mr. Joko

he said he hasn't killed that man.

“A long time ago, I guess,” replied Mr. Joko. “I didn't imagine him

have a lot of interest in dealing with us or Academy.”

“Then what about all of us?” Adir Kadir asked.

“You must escape,” said Mr. Joko. “Gather the injured,

warn the townspeople to leave, then go deep into the mountains. So

the students are ready to attack on their own, send them away.”

“Leaving the monastery? Same as that?” Sadness is the voice of Master Usep.

“You have no choice,” replied Mr. Joko. “Once the Academy finds what

what happens here, they will send more witches. Anybody

the ones left here when they arrive will die. “

“But how can we escape from them?” Adir Kadir asked.

“Even if we leave the monastery and head to the mountains, they can

easily track us.”

Mr. Joko reached into his robe and picked up a small object, which he handed over

sparkles when he receives it.

“This should help you hide,” said Mr. Joko. “It won't

enough if they try hard to find you, but for now, focus

they are finding me.” A glint in his eyes, he added, “I

will make sure to catch their attention. ”

Master Kadir was silent for a moment. “When will you go?” he finally

inquiring.

“Now,” replied Mr. Joko. He turned to Aev. ” Say congratulations

stayed. “

Aev looked at the others. He did not expect to leave them

so quickly, but he understood that Mr. Joko would not let

postponements. If what his master said was true, then the Academy would be soon

sending more terrifying witches after them, and there was no time

to waste time by running away.

It took him a while to say his farewell to Master

Usep, bulla, and Aang Feng. Aev thought they would be bitter towards him for what reason

what happened, but all he found in their words was sadness

and regret.

Finally, Master Usep handed the booklet to Aev, telling him to

learn it when he has time. Aev accepted it gratefully, though,

I suspect what will happen.

As they leave, Aev can see that Master Usep has already started

taking care of the initiates, ordering them to take care of the injured, while

check for the worst yourself.

The sight made him feel pain in his heart. He still remembers how much

the contentment of Master Usep when they first came, and how the man was

tell him about his dislike of travel.

Now, Aev knows, Master Usep will be forced to flee, and possibly

it took a very long time before he found another place like a monastery

his beloved.

Aev and Mr. Joko reach the gate not long after. Up close, Aev

I could see that little was left of the gate and the walls around it,

and he hoped the guards had escaped before the witches

Academy arrives.

Suddenly, a voice sounded. “Archmage Embarheart!”

They turned around, and Aev was surprised to see Aang Feng running towards them,

carrying a large bag that seemed to have been in a hurry.

“Archmage Emberworthy!” he called again.

Then, he knelt down and pressed his head to the ground. Aev slips

seeing the unexpected sight.

“Please consider me as your student!” he said on his knees.

Aev's eyes widened in surprise. Aang Feng became Master Joko's student?

That idea seems ridiculous. And why did he call Mr Joko “Archmage”?

“You think I'm an Archmage?” Mr. Joko sounded amused.

“I know you!” Aang Feng said. “There is no Grandmaster as strong as

it!”

Mr. Joko examined him with a serious expression. “You will leave that

others to join us?” he finally asked.

“Biara is gone,” he said. “Do I go now or later, I

must find new path.”

“But why join us?” Mr. Joko asked. ” You must understand

that our journey will be a dangerous one. “

“Your strength,” said Aang Feng bluntly. “You are the strongest witch

which I've seen. If I learn from you ..” He is speechless, and a little

a red hue appeared on his cheek.

Mr. Joko chuckles. “Alright,” said. “I'll let you travel

with us. Though I should warn you .. you may not

find what you expect.”

“I am willing to accept your teachings,” he said. “Whatever it is.”

“If you want to join us, there is one small thing that should be me

do it first,” said Mr. Joko. “Stand.”

Aang Feng stood up, then looked at Master Joko somewhat anxiously. With

wave the man's hand, the air around him suddenly became blurry –

a familiar sight to Aev now.

When the air starts to clear again,

For a moment, Aev gaped in wonder. Then, regardless of the events of the day

that, he found himself struggling to hold back his laughter.

“What is it?” the man asked in Aang Feng's voice.

“I'll tell you later,” said Aev.
