Wizard Runners
Episode 19's

When Aev sees a smoking carcass from the building he just experienced, he,

he was convinced that Mr. Joko had died.

But in an instant there were more sudden explosions, and though

the smoke of the damaged building prevents Aev from seeing many, many waves of fire

suddenly came out from the middle of the ruins, hitting another building in the

nearby and sent charred ruins flying in all directions.

“We have to go!” Master Usep called. “It's not safe!”

As if to illustrate his words, a bolt of lightning shot toward

they were from the smoke, crashing into a tree that was only a few steps away. Tree

it instantly exploded with thunderous cracks, and bits of wood that were

ripped drifted everywhere.

Aev and the others soon start running, desperate to escape

from the destruction behind them.

They had run several hundred steps when a large object

hit the ground in front of them. It took Aev a while to understand that

it was a building – one of the small huts that filled the ground

the monastery.

Aev stopped and looked back. He was amazed at the destruction

saw it. Half a dozen buildings have been flattened, and a thick haze of smoke and

dust filled the air.

The sky above them was filled with turbulent black clouds, from where

fire and lightning constantly erupted. Under his feet, he could feel the earth

it trembled and trembled, and a barrage of deafening explosions and thunder

attacked his ears.

Suddenly, a streak of fire erupted from the clouds with a thunderous roar.

When it hit the ground several hundred steps away from Aev and the others, it was,

several buildings and trees were obliterated in an instant.

The reason the monastery was in chaos. Everywhere Aev looks, he can

seeing lightning snatching the same buildings and trees, a giant ball of fire

rained down and ate everything they hit, and masses of rocks exploded from

the ground.

Aev felt as if he was an ant trapped in a fight

between giants. The destruction he saw around him exceeded anything

he could imagine.

It was like the world was ending, he thought.

“I have to save the initiates!” Kadir shouted, and he started running

towards the training hall.

Kadir's words that master made Aev regain consciousness. In shock, he

realize that not only he and the others who are with him are in danger

– the terrible destruction that the land of the monastery will endanger

hundreds of people there.

Mr. Joko tells them to run away and hide, but Aev

the Master Usep. He knew that the Academy was there for him, and he

unable to hide himself while the others died in his stead.

As they ran across the monastery grounds, explosions and explosions were

crushing ears continued to sound, and the earth continued to tremble and rumble.

In the corner of his eyes, Aev could see buildings torn apart like leaves

in storm.

Finally, they approached the training hall.

Aev's heart almost stopped when he saw the three white-robed figures

walking towards the training room, where several dozen initiates were enchanted

standing up, their attention was fixed on the destruction that lay before their eyes

them. They were unaware of the danger approaching them.

One of the white-robed figures raised his hand, and instantly,

an invisible force crashed into one of the initiates, sending his damaged body

fly to the back.

The sudden attack sends the other initiates into chaos, and

they immediately dispersed in all directions, some trying to escape

while the others moved to the Witch Academy.

Master Kadir roared furiously, swinging his hands into the air.

then, his body shattered into pieces, as if it had been slashed by

dozens of invisible blades.

The remaining two Academy mages turned around with a jolt, but Master

Usep has unleashed an attack on one of them. It hit right

when the man raised his arm to block it, and though a witch

it had survived the attack, a fragment of air cut off his wrist. Him

stumbling backwards in shock, blood gushed from his arm.

Without any hesitation, Master Usep sent a ferocious attack to the last mage

who is not hurt. The man blocked the attack with a wave of hands, then

replying with a bolt of lightning that fell into the air in front of Master Usep and

make him stagger backwards.

With Master Usep locked in a battle with a witch who is not

wounded, Aev, Amar, and Jiang Fei attack the wounded, who have

a shocked expression as he stared at the bloody stump where his hand was.

The Aev strike struck first, the huge explosion Wind Essence struck

the confused Mage was right in the chest. To his surprise, the man was close

stumbled. A moment later the witch was struck by the sword of one of the

the initiates who keep fighting.

The man turned around and the initiate was struck with a punch of invisible force

which made him crash into the training room, his body slumped to the ground. However

when the witch attacked the initiation, she was startled by Jiang Fei's attack and

Amar, whose sword slashed at his body with a violent punch.

Apart from the blood flowing from his wound, the witch attacked

with his remaining arm. He hits Amar in the chest, and Aev's friend is sent

take a few steps back, finally remaining motionless on the ground.

By this time, more initiates had joined the fight, and

the mage was struck many times by their sword, drawing blood from the

at least a dozen injuries. But despite his injuries, he continued to struggle,

dropped some other initiates.

Unable to injure the man with magic, Aev rushes forward to

join other initiates. He raised his sword, then

deliver a desperate blow to the man's neck. Surprisingly, it was like

cut to the big tree – even though he hit with all his might, the blade

barely stuck an inch into the man's flesh.

He kept attacking the man, over and over again, just like Jiang did

Fei and the other initiates. However even though the Magician Academy had stopped

attacking, he still remained standing, as if their blows were barely

jeopardize it.

After what seemed like forever, the witch finally came down,

his body was wet with the blood of dozens of wounds.

Aev turned to Master Usep, and he was relieved to see the man limping to the

their direction. Although he looked badly injured, behind him lay a body

lifeless of his opponent.

He would call Master Usep when he froze in shock. At

behind the man had appeared three white-robed Academy witches, who

quickly approached. One of them raised his hand, and Aev realized

the witch will attack Master Usep.

“Back of you!” he screamed, but he knew it was too late.

At that moment, a roar that roared through the monastery grounds suddenly

stop over.

The three magicians of the Academy stopped in their tracks, and it seemed like they would

turn around. But before they could, a huge wave of flames surged in the direction

them. When the fire disappeared a moment later, only three bodies were smoldering

remaining.

Moments later, a body figure emerged from a thick cloud of smoke and dust

which meets the center of the monastery courtyard.

Aev heaved a sigh of relief when he saw that it was Mr. Joko.

“That's the last,” said Mr. Joko.

When Mr. Joko approaches them, Aev sees that the man really

unscathed – even her clothes show no signs of battle

which he just fought.
