Chapter 78 Love Without Trust (Part 2)

The king clenched his palms. He wanted to tear down the walls around him to vent his frustration.

"It's impossible! Alvian told me he was only given sleeping pills. He slept all night and didn't wake up at all. How could he have had a married relationship with Cleantha."

I don't know why the King's heart felt so bitter when saying the sentence.

"I want to laugh at you, King. How could Alvian have confessed to you that he fucked his sister-in-law. Alvian must be ashamed and feel guilty for you. Same with Cleantha. They agreed to cover it up for fear of hurting you."

Zevira pressed the number button on her phone and looked at King.

"I'll give you one more accurate piece of evidence. You want to find Fendi, don't you? Fendi is in Singapore. I'll give you a chance to talk to him directly. Just ask Fendi himself what kind of medicine he put in Alvian's drink. Sleep medicine or stimulant medication?" zevira handed over her phone.

Furious, the King received the phone. Shortly the call was connected.

"Hello, honey, what's calling me? Do you miss me?"

There was the voice of Fendi, a depraved man whom the King hated.

Hearing Fendi calling Zevira with the title "Honey", the King's blood seemed to rise to the crown. He believes that Zevira and Fendi are still continuing their dark relationship behind him. But the King tried to hold back in order to get the truth about Cleantha and Alvian.

"It's me, King."

"Re...ja???" repeat Fendi's scared.

"Why can you use Vira's phone to call me?" ask Fendi worried.

"Because your own dark lover gave it to me. He's even in front of me now" the king explained.

"Is Vira not sane? Why would he hand his phone to you," grumbled Fendi annoyed.

"Listen, Fendi. If you're here, I'll definitely finish you off. But right now I just need one answer. What medicine did you give Alvian at the hotel that night? Sleeping pills or stimulants? Quick answer!!!" tukas Raja presses Fendi.

Fendi was shocked half to death hearing the King's question. He did not expect that the King would find out about his actions so soon. But Fendi guessed that the King knew it from Zevira.

I don't know what the reason is until his lover opened his own crime to the King. Clearly, Zevira must have had a reason.

In a pinch like now, Fendi felt he had to keep supporting his lover. After all, if he confessed, Zevira would probably break their love affair.

"Why shut up? Are you too cowardly to admit it?" ask the King.

"Ti.dak, King. All right, I'll confess," replied Fendi to shake off his rains.

"I put the stimulant Zevira gave into Alvian's drink. Then I kidnapped Cleantha and put Cleantha to bed next to Alvian. I photographed them for a while and left them in that hotel room. Next I don't know what's going on between them" explained Fendi lying.

Gritting his teeth, the King ended the call.

Outraged, he throws Zevira's cell phone on the floor in disarray.

Zevira could see the disappointed, angry, and desperate expression implied on the King's face. And this made him satisfied. Finally he managed to avenge the actions of the King who had hurt and ignored him all this time.

"You heard yourself what Fendi said. Although the despicable act happened not because of Alvian and Cleantha's will, but the rice had already become porridge."

Zevira again launched his deadly attack.

"You're not a stupid man, King. Cleantha's pregnancy must have been the result of her last intimate relationship. And he did it with Alvian. It means that the child in Cleantha's womb is Alvian's son, not your son."

"No, this is impossible!" the King's cry felt a lara in his heart.

"Get out of my house right now!!! Don't ever appear before me again!" the king shouted to drive Zevira away.

"Well, I'll be gone forever. But you are the one who will suffer, King, not me" Zevira said.

"If you want to be happy, then love Cleantha and take care of your sister's child in her womb. It's just that you'll see traces of the forbidden act for the rest of your life. Hope you can stand facing it. Goodbye, King," said Zevira wiping away her tears.

He turned back his wheelchair leaving the room.

"Ahhh, why did all this have to happen to me!!!" erang King slammed his fist into the wall.

Outside, Bi Dewi was ready to bring Zevira's suitcases.

"Madam" said Bi Dewi anxiously looking at Zevira's careless eyes.

"Where's Ivyna? Please call him" Zevira told Bi Dewi.

"In a moment, Madam."

Bi Dewi ran over, picking up Ivyna who was playing in the pool.

"Mommy? Why carry so many bags? Where do you want to go?" Ivyna asked confusedly.

"Ivy, Mommy's gonna stay at Grandpa's house. Do you want to come with Mommy?" said Zevira holding Ivyna's arm.

The little girl shook her head.

"No, Mommy. I want to stay here with Daddy. But why did Mommy move into Grandpa's house?" Ivyna asked in curiosity.

"Because Daddy doesn't love Mommy anymore, Ivy," replied Zevira tearfully.

"But why, Mommy?"

"Because now Daddy only loves Mommy Clea. No more care for Mommy Vira."

"Ivy, Mommy has to go now. Don't be naughty and follow Daddy's orders. If you miss Mommy, ask Mbak Ningsih to accompany you to Grandpa's house. Bye bye, Honey," said Zevira peeping her daughters cheeks.

Bi Dewi pushed Zevira's wheelchair out of the King's house. Leaving Ivyna who was crying sadly for the loss of her birth mother.

"Already, Ivy, don't cry. Later Ivy can ask Daddy for permission to visit Grandpa's house. Mbak Ningsih will accompany Ivy," said Ningsih calming the little girl.

The servants were made to be concerned by the sad events that were happening before their eyes.

Inside the room, Cleantha squirmed slowly. After drinking the warm milk that Narti brought, his eyes felt heavy. He did not feel as though he had been sound asleep for nearly two hours.

"It's late afternoon? Oh, my God, how long have I slept? Why am I so lazy? Is everyone pregnant like this or am I the only one who has it?"

cleantha lamented in heart.

Cleantha looked around her room. But there was no sign of the King.

"The King hasn't come back here yet. He said after an hour he would accompany me and take me to Dad's house. Is Lord King in his study? I'll look for him,"

cleantah muttered down from the bed slowly.

Cleantha opened the room door and walked down the corridor.

When he reached the living room, he was surprised to see Ivyna sobbing in the arms of his nanny. His voice was as unwilling and his shoulders went up and down withstanding the grief.

"Mbak Ningsih, why is Ivyna crying? What's going on?" cleantha asked worriedly.

"Mrs Zevira just got out of here, ma'am. He went back to his parents' house. Ivyna was saddened by her Mommy's abandonment."

Cleantha was again made to gasp. I don't know why Zevira suddenly left her husband and son. Has the king thrown him out? Or is it possible that Zevira was hurt to know that she was two-bodied?

Cleantha did not know the cause. What is clear is that he could not bear to see Ivyna become a victim of the separation of King and Zevira.

"I must speak to the Lord King. I can't let Ivy suffer,"

muttered Cleantha walking into the King's study.
