With a heavy heart, Cleantha left Almero. He refused to separate from his son for a day. But conditions forced him to do this.
Cleantha felt uneasy during the flight to Bali. He rarely opened his mouth even when they reached the villa of Lord Bayu.
Looking at Cleantha's body language, the King understood what was on his wife's mind. He plans to invite Cleantha to enjoy the beauty of nature so that the woman is not overwhelmed by anxiety.
"The views around the villa are very beautiful. Not far from here is the beach. Do you want to see it? I will accompany you," asked the King gently.
"I'm tired, just want to rest at the villa" Cleantha said. He still used formal language in front of the King.
The villa guard who heard Cleantha's reply, immediately ushered them into the room.
"Please rest, Master, Madam," said the villa's guard putting down the suitcase belonging to the King and Cleantha.
"Thank you, Great sir," said the King with a smile.
The change that had happened to the King was beyond Cleantha's expectations. Now he is a man who is smiling and friendly to others. Though his carrier was so cold, as if he did not care about the humans around him.
After the villa guards left, the King closed the door. He waved the curtain that closed the window so that Cleantha could see the green trees that were soothing to the eyes.
"Clea, you can see the view through the window if you feel bored."
"Yes, sir," Cleantha answered briefly.
Rather than being awkward, Cleantha busied herself by taking her clothes out of the suitcase.
"Why not take a break? Let me tidy up these clothes," said the king offering help.
"It's over soon, sir."
The king turned Cleantha's back, which had turned her back. Now their faces face each other.
"Are you uncomfortable because of my presence? If so, I will move to another room" asked the King, trying to resist disappointment.
"No, I just...."
"Don't lie to me, Clea. I know you very well. Now get some rest, I'll be back for dinner."
Without waiting for Cleantha's reaction, the King passed out of the room.
Seeing the departure of the King, Cleantha experienced an inner upheaval. There was a sense of regret in his heart for wronging the man. It is not appropriate for a wife to reject her husband. But on the other hand, he needs time to be alone.
...****************...
Cleantha did not know where the King went all day until the afternoon. Whether he sleeps in another room or he takes a walk to the beach. It was clear that the man had only appeared at seven in the evening.
"I wanted to take you to dinner by the beach. But it will soon rain. Tomorrow we go" said the king sitting at the dinner table. He had already told the villa guards to order food from a nearby restaurant.
The King and Cleantha ate in silence.
Their relationship is quite complicated. A couple but like two strangers who keep their distance.
The king finished his dinner first. He got out of the chair and said goodbye to Cleantha.
"I slept in the front room. If you need anything, just call me," said the King, peeping briefly at Cleantha's forehead.
After the King left her, Cleantha helped the Great Sir clean the dining table.
The sound of lightning began to sound outside. Cleantha hurriedly left the kitchen and entered her room. He changed his clothes with a sleeping kimono and then laid himself on the bed.
Cleantha tried to calm her mind. The king-size bed felt empty with no one beside it.
Cleantha tried to close her eyes early. But for the second time there was a shocking sound of thunder. Next followed by the swift roar of rain water that hit the glass window of his room.
Cleantha got out of bed. Open half the curtain to see the rain falling outside.
From the window, Cleantha watched the rainwater rush with strong winds. Trees nearby to sway to and fro because of the wind.
Cleantha moved away from the window and returned to the bed. But he jumped in shock when he heard the loud sound of thunder. The vibration was quite powerful until the floor of his room seemed to shake. This situation really made him feel scared. Plus he felt anxious when the electricity would be out by arriving
"Shall I call the Lord King to accompany me? I can't sleep alone,"
cleantha thought hesitating.
This time he had to put aside his embarrassment.
Since the King did not open the door, Cleantha knocked even harder.
"Sir, please open the door" cried Cleantha.
"Clea? What's up?" asked the King half sleepy.
Cleantha bit her lower lip before saying her arrival intent. And I don't know why it looks so seductive in the King's eyes.
"Can you accompany me in my room? I was scared because it was raining outside" Cleantha said in a soft voice.
Cleantha's request made the King cheer in excitement. But he held back in front of Cleantha in order to maintain his pride.
"All right, let's go to the room."
The king hugged Cleantha's shoulder and guided her to the room to relax more.
After locking the door, the King told Cleantha to rest.
"Sleep, I'll take care of you" said the king.
Cleantha was about to climb onto the bed, but the sound of thunder came back to surprise her. Cleantha hugged the King's waist until their bodies stuck together.
Both the King and Cleantha could feel each other's heartbeats. The cold that had initially ambushed them turned warm.
Unknowingly, the pent-up desire of love rises instantly. It was difficult for the King to control himself when they were this intimate.
Reflexively, he stroked Cleantha's long hair. Moving his fingers to trace his wife's red lips. Then he began to taste the soft lips that he had long missed. It tastes so sweet. At first with a soft kiss but increasingly demanding.
Cleantha could not escape. For some reason this man's touch restored the memory of the love that once grew in his heart.
Feeling that he was going out of control, the King stopped him. As a man he had to keep the promise not to touch Cleantha before the wife herself would allow it.
"Sorry, Clea, I've gone too far. I will not repeat it" said the King away.
Cleantha could see the King was trying hard against her will. As a wife, she must have sinned because she had tormented her husband's mind and body.
Seeing Cleantha worried because of her actions, the King felt guilty.
"I have to step aside for a moment. If I stay here maybe I will break the promise" said the King while neutralizing the taste inside him.
Cleantha looked at the owner of the sturdy back who was about to disappear from before her. Suddenly he felt he had to stop the King. It's been a while since he hurt that guy.
"Master, don't go" said Cleantha holding the King's arm.
The king turned and held Cleantha's hand.
"Later to come back here. But now I have to go because I'm afraid...."
"Not to be afraid, sir. I am the guilty one. When I became a wife, I had to be ready to give it all up for my husband. That's my duty."
The king looked into Cleantha's eyes, trying to find the truth about her feelings.
"Are you sure you're ready to accept me, honey?" ask King. He could not hide the happiness that was burning in his heart.
Cleantha nodded slowly.
"Yes, I'm ready."
In the next instant, he let the King do as he wished.
The king started off softly. He wanted their first union to be dominated by love rather than just explosive passion. And Cleantha could feel that in every touch of her husband.
The speck of rain and the gust of the night wind bear witness to the reunification of two people who have experienced the bitterness and sweetness of love. No one can really guess how fate will bring a pair of human children together. If it is a match, then the universe will be closer, not distanced. Live each moment of your life sincerely, because only God knows when it is time to give you happiness.
