The Thousand Mask Warrior
The Battle on the Second River: Yu Moves

Pratiwi escapes the keris without its wound from the sheath. The ship belonging to the first Chinese skipper was clearly visible to have been burned by fire. The ship tried to steer its course toward another ship and fired cannons, but failed.

Indeed, the first ship was successfully subdued. The pirates killed all the Lan Xang soldiers whose number was not even ten. They get a pretty fierce resistance when trying to take over the cannons and ships at once. The skipper had to fight two people at once, while the other two pirates fought with a cannon lighter. Both were killed after nearly capturing the cannon. What happened, the cannon exploded over the bow and created a fire that burned the deck.

Fortunately, before the ship changed direction, the Chinese skipper had a fairly capable silat ability to fight both pirates, so the ship was not captured. Damn, the crew and all the remaining soldiers died on board his ship.

Pratiwi and Yu were well aware that this ship would briefly be the next target of the pirates' attack. Pratiwi drowned but carefully scanned the state of the ship. The soldiers were not in the stern or the middle of the ship.

Pratiwi grunts. “Dungu! The soldiers were instead busy watching their friends who were down attacking the opponent from the bow while firing cannons. They don't give a little defense.”

Yu took a look around, then fixed his gaze onto the one ship across. “They have attacked the ship, Pratiwi.”

“They have also arrived on this ship, Yu. Ready your needles,” said Pratiwi suddenly.

It turns out that Pratiwi's warning is not without reason. Naked hands appear from the side of the ship. Six Annam pirates, small short, yellow-skinned Chinese-like and bare-chested, bit a dagger in their mouth, and their right hand clasped a Han Chinese-style sword.

Two people without any cue immediately ran to the bow section. Their goal was clear, attacking the cannons. The remaining four surrounded Pratiwi and Yu. They had noticed that the Pratiwi looked like a petite man like themselves, and a man was a Chinese man. Pratiwi himself has unsheathed the keris without its wound.

This action is considered by the pirates as an attitude of resistance. The hatred of the Annamites for the Han Chinese was enough to add to the four Viennese pirates' reason for besieging Yu and Pratiwi whom they considered a Chinese master and his aide or guard.

Yu felt a row of needles behind his belt. His hands trembled slightly against these pirates, although not once did he use his killing ability.

The problem of fighting, Yu inevitably had to admit that Pratiwi was a figure and a swordsman who was very experienced even digdaya. The woman's face had now turned cold and full of murderous lust.

“For all of you. My keris needs to be bathed in the blood of these kind of people. Let's just say you're lucky to die in my hands!” pratiwi exclaimed regardless of whether the pirates understood the language he used or not.

Pratiwi requested that Yu stand behind him as the four pirates slowly walked over with swords and daggers in both of their hands.

Yu growling. His hands felt grim because he had to face this kind of thing. He pulled out a few needles, then shouted loudly. Surprisingly, the Chinese healer from Betawi drove forward and threw his needles towards the lethal point on the enemy's body.

Pratiwi. This wasn't the original plan. He only needs Yu to be behind to support him from enemy attacks.

Sure enough, Yu's attack could be avoided by the enemy. The needles Yu threw deviated from the target. Although indeed two of them still stuck in the body of one of the pirates Annam, the puncture wound is not severe and dangerous, like a regular needle pierced.

As a result, the attacked pirates roared more because of anger than illness.

He charged in like a bull running amok towards Yu. He made his sword read out toward the head, ready to split in two.

Yu jerked back, Pratiwi pulled him in at the right moment. The tip of the Chinese sword was two screeches in front of Yu's face.

Without wasting any more time, Pratiwi jumped up high and climbed over the small body of the attacker and planted his kris on the neck of the enemy, plucking it and stabbing it again quickly. Blood spurted profusely from the wound until the victim fell dead floundering on the deck. Pratiwi immediately took Annam's dagger as his weapon partner. Back two types of daggers have been clasped in both hands of Pratiwi which does have the silat-straight of the twin daggers.
