The Thousand Mask Warrior

The Thousand Mask Warrior
Lesson Two - Steal the Jurus

The audience did not want to scream, make a noise, let alone clap. Although clearly Jayaseta was hit by a barrage of attacks Tun Guru Baharuddin Labbiri, this does not show he lost. The disciples no longer wanted to show their hopes as they had then, where even the four Gayong Malay Tigers were utterly defeated in a variety of ways. Even if it was a real fight in the real world, Jayaseta's opponents would probably be killed or at least severely injured.

They no longer want to be deceived, even though in the heart, the hope is great so that the teacher can win the fight.

Jayaseta himself is back on his feet. He smiled and got himself tempered by this fight.

"Whose crazy person has just been hit by a blow and attack until he collapsed on the question actually even looks so happy?" said one of the students with his friend astonished at once upset. His words were heard by the four Malay Gayong Tiger Swordsmen because they were standing near them. Jonah smiled faintly at his grimacing friends. All of them suddenly felt small and reckless thinking could defeat the unknown swordsman.

"Do you really believe in fighting your enemies by cheating their moves, Jayaseta?" said the Labbiri. "I'll bet, the enemies you face must be shocked to death when they find out and there that you can imitate and even use their style to defeat them yourself" he continued.

Jayaseta smiled again. The words of Tun Guru Baharuddin Labbiri are not at all wrong.

"However, none of your opponents whom you have stolen the judge understands and is able to guess the moves you have stolen."

Jayaseta suddenly pensive. It sounded like it was going around in circles, repeating words, but Jayaseta understood the point.

"Yes, you are right, Jayaseta. There should be no swordsman who should be afraid if the manager is cheated, imitated and even taken by the opponent to be used against him alone. Doesn't the swordsman understand his own moves? So when you took my Silat Tomoi, Jayaseta, I knew what you were going to do first, how to defend and how to attack" Baharuddin Labbiri said at length.

Obviously the intention of Baharuddin Labbiri is to provide a kind of teaching for Jayaseta. And everything he said was true. Even Jayaseta admitted it. He lost in these early moves.

But, Baharuddin Labbiri also understood, the fight is not over until one of them is indeed defeated or feels defeated. Being exposed to opponents is common.

Baharuddin Labbiri laughed crisply, unaware of who his opponent was.

"Thank you for the lesson you gave me. However, let's continue back. Please teach me another lesson, Mr. Baharuddin," Jayaserta said as he advanced with a Silat Tomoi-style knee strike.

With ease, Baharuddin Labbiri returned to using Tomoi's defensive horses like a turtle that entered into his shell and shifted his body slightly.

Jayaseta's knee attack certainly escaped. The Labbiri instantly gave a quick counterattack. He was just about to insert a straight kick into the side of Jayaseta's body when it turned out that Jayaseta's knee that escaped changed direction into a spinning kick.

BRACKET!

Baharuddin Labbiri almost fell. Jayaseta's kick about his waist. He immediately retreated, balancing the body, lifting one leg and throwing it to the ground.

His pair of eyes looked at Jayaseta in disbelief.

The same explanation was reversed by Jayaseta. Now, not only Baharuddin Labbiri who knows his own moves that Jayaseta stole, but Jayaseta also understands his own movements so that he can guess and understand the style of Baharuddin Labbiri.

Whatisthis? Baharuddin Labbiri in his heart. It doesn't make sense. How can the young man quickly master his moves as well as a deep understanding of him. Not only that, Jayaseta twisted everything he explained at length. As if making whatever he had said earlier seemed bland and meaningless.

"I can't mess with you anymore, young man," Baharuddin Labbiri said earnestly.

All the spectators, especially the disciples of Baharuddin Labbiri held their breaths waiting for the next scene.

Sasangka felt he had to stay a while longer in this country. There was a strange feeling that enveloped his soul when he heard a rumor about the chaos that occurred in the fortress downtown Malacca the other day. The crowd called the name of the Thousand Mask Warrior figure who helped to thwart the destruction of the city worse. The figure of the hero is also described as being able to eliminate the intruders.

Somehow Sasangka could feel this incredible feeling. There was an odd sense of pride lingering in his heart. In fact, first he is not the Thousand Mask Swordsman, Jayaseta, the original. The use of his nickname was only intended to make the enemy tremble. He could not imagine, how the image of the name of the swordsman really. Second, he did not intend to defend the land of Pranggi's submission. All foreign Caucasians are bullies in various countries in the archipelago. They deserve destruction for their own actions. But, for the time being, no one should interfere with his responsibilities as a trader and arak trader from Betawi. Let him feel a little safe and have fun.
