The Thousand Mask Warrior

The Thousand Mask Warrior
Five Bloodthirsty Demons

The cold-blooded assassin warriors who attacked Jayaseta were titled Five Bloodthirsty Demons. Sarti, who was stabbed to death by a knife at the end of his own rifle by Jayaseta, is a former leader of the Kenya Trisat force, a Mataram women's army that is feared by all its enemies.

The depiction of female warriors, especially from the Mataram kingdom may be somewhat surprising. Female soldiers did not look manly at all, including muscular and dressed like men. They still show their identity as a woman but are very dangerous and deadly. Even the troops of Trisat Kenya are famous for having the ability to use bedil much better than male soldiers.

Except for Tiang Goan, the others are also former Mataram forces who failed in the attack on the Betawi fort Walanda company. Tiang Goan indeed from the beginning has sided with Walanda in Betawi. He joined forces with Chinese and indigenous Walanda mercenaries, Hindustani people, some Japanese Samurai and Walanda bull soldiers against Mataram forces who attacked Betawi.

Four Mataram warriors eventually chose to cross to Betawi for fear of being killed by Sultan Agung, punished for their failure to drop the Betawi fort.

Sarti's dead. The goose was so badly injured that it was highly likely that he would not be able to use both of his swords anymore. Damar and Tiang Goan suffered severe injuries to the face. Although they were injured quite badly, but it is certain that their faces will still be able to recover.

Parta was injured in the chest. Toya felt his steel on Parta's chest due to a tremendous kick from Jayaseta.

All four survived. Their weapons were gathered under Jayaseta's feet, and they were all human and sitting under two large trees.

Jayaseta plays one branch in his right hand. He was still wearing a Samba mask that always smiled strangely. He had collected all three discs and put them back on his head. Unfortunately, one disc has been sompeled in one of its sharp edges because it collides with****Sarti.

“Now I want clarity. No need to go around in circles. Sarti had to die at my hands. You wish it was the opposite, right? Looking at my corpse, instead of one of you,” Jayaseta continued.

The four warriors looked at each other. It was clear their behavior and morale was now degenerating. Moreover, seeing that Sarti was lying lifeless. Sarti indeed might have an unusually high place for them. Sarti was probably the greatest warrior among them all.

“We five are telik passwords of Betawi who holds the title Five Blood Smelling Devils,” said Parta whose voice can still come out well from her throat. While others may have difficulty speaking the word.

It was then that only Parta fully told who they were. He then also explained why they wanted to finish Jayaseta and how they knew about him.

The Company's central government in Betawi was upset that other members of their code from the Hell's Earth Needle group had been killed by the so-called Thousand Mask Swordsman. Shortly another incident occurred in Cerbon, where three members of the Hell Earth Needle were also beaten and even one of them died at the hands of the swordsman. The news explained that the swordsman turned out to be a young man who wanted to go to Banten and Betawi using a ship. He was also accompanied by seven other warriors on his journey.

These characteristics are very strong attached to Jayaseta who entered Banten with seven people including his uncle. Sarti and Damar have been following Jayaseta since they reached the port of Cerbon.

Jayaseta dropped the branch in her hand to the ground. At that time unexpectedly, Tiang Goan who had been like no intention to continue the fight hit Jayaseta. Can not be sure when he did it, which is clear Tiang Goan has released a rope that twists his hair clumps. Then he flicked his head towards Jayaseta. The red rope slid towards Jayaseta.

BRET!

Jayaseta's breastplate was scratched, tearing her clothes and slicing her chest. Blood straight out of his chest. Jayaseta only had time to shift back a little because of lack of preparation. Apparently at the end of the hair tie Tiang Goan tied a small blade so sharp.

This weapon is actually another form of sheng biao, or spear-edged rope. Usually the spear-eyed rope is used similar to a chain whip, but it is longer and pliable. This family of weapons includes chain hammers, flying claws, chain whips and fei tou whose blade is similar to the tip of a spear but heavier.

This spear-edged rope or sheng biao has many advantages when used to face opponents. Within a considerable distance, the tip of this spear-edged rope can be thrown towards the enemy and pulled back. This weapon can also be used to snatch, stab, strangle, and even ensnare opponents.

However, the form of a weapon made specifically by the Goan Pole is played using his head. Clearly this weapon is treated as a secret weapon hidden in the form of a hair knot that will be easy to use when in a state of forced.

Tiang Goan seems to be a swordsman who specializes in studying the science of bending weapons. It is said that flexible weapons such as chain whips, chains and spear-edged ropes came from a chief criminal who became captive in China hundreds of years ago.

This prisoner can escape from prison and can defeat all the soldiers and guards who tried to catch him, even though at that time his hands were still tied with chains. It turned out that he was using the chains hanging in his hands as weapons.

Gradually he created and perfected this bending weapon along with its style and use.

Jayaseta took a few steps back and shifted to the left and right to avoid the rope of the Goan Pole. Tiang Goan's attack turned out to be more and more forced when a Goan Pole attack was so dangerous, Jayaseta used both arms to protect his neck.

Mast Goan's rope weapon coiled in Jayaseta's hands and tied him. In one jolt Jayaseta pulled forward. When his body was approaching the Goan Pole, Tiang Goan used his head to poke Jayaseta's chest hard.

Tiang Goan's rope was broken from Jayaseta's hand, but Jayaseta was thrown a few steps because his chest was sat on the head of the Goan Pole. The rope of Tiang Goan rippled again. This time Jayaseta's left hand was tied to the rope. Goan's pole stomped him back and made once again Jayaseta pulled forward. It was clear Tiang Goan wanted to do the same, which was to attack Jayaseta with a header. But this didn't happen.

Jayaseta is too easy to learn all the moves of his enemies. When he was jolted forward and the head of the Goan Pole was ready to head his chest or neck, Jayaseta gave the best opportunity. He quickly smashed his masked face into the head of the Goan Column.

PRAK!!

“Akhhhh ...!!”

The head of the Goan Pole was injured. A scrap of wound was spitting blood from his head on the sidelines of his hair. Tiang Goan himself was screaming in pain while holding his head. Jayaseta's mask was split into three parts.

The Tiang Goan style is not an arbitrary style. His head had been trained in such a way as to become a weapon. In Chinese silat, many warriors train their heads to be very strong because of the rigors of certain exercises.

Their heads can break wood and crush bricks. That is why, the rope tied in the hair of Tiang Goan became an extraordinary weapon because the veins and head muscles of Tiang Goan have been well trained.

But unlucky for Tiang Goan, Jayaseta is not an ordinary fighter. He had gathered strength in his head when the Goan Pole pulled a rope that was coiled in Jayaseta's arm so that the wooden mask on Jayaseta's face became harder than ordinary wood because it had been fed by the energy in. This finally succeeded in injuring the stubbornness of Tiang Goan. The misadventure of the Goan Pole did not stop there, because the rope was still wrapped around Jayaseta's left hand.

This time it was Jayaseta who stamped it so that the jolted Tiang Goan's turn came closer to him. When the Goan Pole was near, Jayaseta opened his mask which had been split into three parts. One part of the three parts of the split mask is now a sharp wooden blade. Jayaseta used it as a kind of dagger-sharp weapon, and stuck the wooden blade right around the neck of the Goan Pole.

Goan's pole held his neck pierced by the wooden blade of Jayaseta's mask that stuck. Blood spurted profusely until the dead Tiang Goan lay on the ground with both eyes widened.

Just like Tiang Goan, the other three friends bought their eyes. Now their guts were no longer shrinking, but they were completely exhausted. Now in front of them stood a young man who was so terrifying. Swordsman Mask Seribu seems to be a title that is not kidding. The fragment of the mask smiled strangely, because only a small part of the face was visible, stuck in the neck of Tiang Goan.

Jayaseta removed the rope from the hair of the Goan Pole which was still wrapped around his left hand. Then he took the weapon Tiang Goan, which is a chain whip, and wrapped it around his waist.

“I take this gun,” said Jayaseta coldly. While the remaining three hordes of Five Bloodthirsty Demons nodded loudly in trepidation and overwhelming fear.

With a still painful wound to his left shoulder due to the Goan Pole chain whip, a wound to the chest due to a knife at the end of the Goan Pole's hair, and the side of his neck that was pierced***Sarti's rifle, the, Jayaseta turned his back on the three hordes of Blood-kissing Devils and walked away from them.

“Do not try to follow me again. Go all the way if you still want to live!” jayaseta said.

Jayaseta's cold voice had suddenly become very scary for the three gangs. They remained motionless from their place, as if glued to the ground.

Jayaseta himself took a long breath as he continued walking. He collected pure air to treat his wounds and fatigue from within. Thank goodness the wound wasn't too deep. Once until the tavern or inn later, he can rest to restore energy and treat his injuries.

He never had any plans to kill, kill his enemies. Until now, he had only done what he felt he needed to do. Does this make him a slaughterer? At this young age Jayaseta has killed many people. Either people who some consider fit to be killed for their crimes, or people who put their lives at risk.

He is sometimes confused by his own actions. No one should have to be the victim. But there are things that make him forced to do these actions. He was worried that he would have a tendency to take the life of someone, either a criminal or a person who risked his life. As a swordsman, is this commonplace? But he had to stop the attacks of Tiang Goan with all his might. His mask was shattered and the clothes Pratiwi had given him were in tatters. He became upset himself and decided to forget the debate inside his head.
