The Thousand Mask Warrior

The Thousand Mask Warrior
The Tiger Terengganu

"May you be lucky, my friend" Hamid told Zainal meaningfully, a mixture of jokes and harsh warnings.

Zainal shook his head as he looked at the teacher who replied to him with a fluffy smile. "Who is this man, Hamid? You fought really, didn't you?" Zainal.

Hamid is still stroking his chest which still feels pain. "You think I want to pretend to lose and embarrass myself? He won fairly. If it continues, it's the same. I don't want to be hurt badly today" Hamid said.

"Is that really her?" reply Zainal looks a little worried.

"You don't have to feel inferior like that. How know you can learn the weaknesses of the man's moves and defeat him, or at least land one or two blows on his body" Hamid replied.

"Damn. What's the thing until I have to be curious and be in this kind of ignorance?" ruk Zainal's.

"Isn't the enemy we're facing in reality always unrecognizable, Zainal? That's the whole point of the fight, "this time Mansur the Kelantan Tiger is sloppy.

"Ah, shut up you Mansur. Just hope this fight doesn't come until it's your turn" replied Zainal.

Zainal stood in front of Jayaseta in a prepared manner. He saluted by clenching both palms in front of his chest and bowing his head. "Greetings, dear swordsman. I'm Zainal. I am originally from Malacca, but Tun Guru Labbiri gave me the honor to study the art of Gayong Terengganu. I ask for help and guidance from the swordsman," Zainal said politely.

Jayaseta smile. He is respecting. "I'm Jayaseta, my best friend. Thank you for being willing to teach me a lesson" he replied.

Zainal is slim and has a thin face. Both of his hands are well trained. When he opened the style and style, both hands widened with fingers that were played smoothly by the movement of the wrist which was also equally flexible.

"About the silat pulut," Jayaseta's mind. Even Dara Cempaka opened his eyes wide. He is very familiar with the style of Malay silat that one. On the other hand, Datuk Mas Kuning felt his chest shoot out full of pride and enjoyment preparing to watch the follow-up fight.

The Datuk remembered many years ago that he taught the basics of Malay Gayong silat in the form of silat pulut to the little Baharuddin Labbiri who absorbed each of his teachings quickly and well. Although he had regretted not having much time to teach everything he knew and mastered, for the sake of seeing the students of Baharuddin Labbiri, showed how rich the skills of kanuragan and his student's experience.

Baharuddin Labbiri visited Terengganu when he began to grow up from his teenage years. The Malay state was actually part of the Johor-Riau kingdom. When Malacca collapsed by the Pranggi attack, officials, dignitaries and royal descendants scattered across the country. By the kingdom of Johor, sent two royal dignitaries, namely Admiral and Grand Master Megat Seri Rama to reign in Terengganu. After that the treasurer of the Johor kingdom, Bendahara Hasan, was also ordered to Terengganu to strengthen the government. After that until now, Terengganu was led by Mr. Zain Indera and his descendants.

Terengganu was considered to have always been part of a larger empire. The earliest record of the history of this country is by a Chinese merchant named Chao Ju Kua in 1225 AD who explained that Terengganu was a conquered state of Palembang, or referring to the capital of the Srivijaya empire.

When Srivijaya collapsed, Terengganu became the next great imperial conquest, namely Majapahit, along with Paka and Dungun according to the letter Negarakartagama written by Mpu Prapanca in 1365 AD.

Conquered areas that hide and develop their own silat and fighting style. Changes in leadership and culture throughout history made Terengganu get a lot of influence silat science styles from the land of Java, the Malay island of Samudra, even China and Hindustan.

Zainal shifted one leg, while the other lifted slowly, like a rooster considering the direction of his steps.

Jayaseta stood without certain horses, although Datuk Mas Kuning understood, Jayaseta was implementing the Jurorless Style.

No attacks have been carried out from either side. Suddenly Jayaseta slid forward giving a straight punch towards Zainal's chest.

Unwilling to take the bad possibility of Jayaseta's continued attack, Zainal jumped with one leg, one leg that was lifted immediately released towards Jayaseta who did look to attack.

Jayaseta brushed off and crossed both arms in front of her chest. The collision occurred, the soles of Zainal's feet and Jayaseta's arms.

Jayaseta took a step back, while Zainal was thrown back two steps.

Now Zainal understands how great the opponent in front of him is. Damn it, thought Zainal. Fortunately I had not been as arrogant as Hamid, he thought again. But Zainal does not recede, does not want and does not want to recede. He smiles. Here's the real lesson.

Zainal took back the horses Silat Gayong Terengganu. Both of his palms were tinkering with flowers, putting both of them in a sequence of movements aligned with his footsteps, preparing to consider his attack.

Jayaseta is now learning that the Terengganu Gayong Silat strongly applies Silat Pulut. Each attack was very calculated, quite different from Silat Gayong Kedah who roared with multiple attacks. Silat Gayong Terengganu plays flowers and steps like a rooster that checks the weakness of the enemy to then attack profusely, maybe even suddenly.

Sure enough, Zainal charged forward quickly, hitting hard on Jayaseta's face. The attacked quickly shifted dodge to then resist Zainal's follow-up attack: a hard kick towards the heart.

Jayaseta replied with a straight elbow. Zainal fended it off with both palms. As before, due to the swiftness and force of each Jayaseta attack, Zainal deflected while retreating to reduce the impact that could be caused by the attack.

The three members of the Malay Gayong Tiger gasped and gasped at the sight before them. An entertaining fight at the same time makes their hearts beat quite fast: worried about their turn at the same time very excited to learn.

Zainal and Jayaseta are standing face to face. Zainal turned his wrist back. His legs were raised and raised slowly, carefully and calculatingly.

The tip of Jayaseta's eyes finally saw a gap in the Zainal moves. Actually, because their level of knowledge is different, Jayaseta can attack immediately. In a real state of battle, Jayaseta could have directly splashed with Bogem Watu Gunung, or Thunder Kick from the South. But, the Juriseless Movement aims to absorb other knowledge, study and enrich it. Jayaseta's defeat was when he was unable to find weaknesses in the opposing styles, or imitate and take his essence.

Jayaseta advanced quickly, but then moved sideways, to the left side of Zainal. The one who was attacked tried to face Jayaseta, but his steps were dead. Jayaseta had already discovered when the rooster's similar footsteps stopped, when it was lifted.

Eventually, Zainal's footsteps less quickly changed direction. Jayaseta poked Zainal's thigh with the side of his foot, making the opponent lose balance and just fall to the ground like a block of wood.

BRUG!

Incredibly strange, Zainal did not feel the pain too, but his body was hard to move. It took a single breath for him to be able to improve things and prepare to get up.

This situation when in a life and death fight, it was enough for the opponent to attack Zainal who was in a state of collapse. Enemies could befall Zainal's body, punching him repeatedly into the face, neck or neck. Or, it was easy for Jayaseta to trace Zainal's stomach, chest and head and leave him severely injured or even dead.

Zainal got up slowly, no longer in a hurry. He clenched his palms together in front of his chest and bowed in respect to Jayaseta. "I lost, Jayaseta. Please face my other friend. Thank you for the lesson today," he said out loud.

Jayaseta is respectful and grateful.

The boisterous applause of Sukadana's entourage, even including Baharuddin Labbiri. His pair of naughty eyes moved excitedly.

Although annoyed by this secret and fortitude, Mansur the Tiger of Kelantan tightened his cloth belt, scratched his thin beard and mustache and then advanced to the middle of the ring. "Ah, I guess it's my turn, isn't it?" He said to Zainal, who passed by him. A thin smile full of satisfaction as well as ridicule to Mansur painted real on Zainal's face.
