The Thousand Mask Warrior

The Thousand Mask Warrior
Knife Blow

The bifurcators were suddenly shocked by the sudden attack of someone who preceded their shooting attack. Moreover, those who attacked did not come from the group they were about to shoot. The attack came from the crew of this ship itself.

"Bang*sat! Who did it?!" said one of the Ambonia-born bedsmiths saw one of his colleagues killed on the spot, while another was dying because his hands had been butted and continued to bleed profusely.

"There! Shoot ... Shoot it!" shouted one of the other members of the firing squad pointing towards the disc pitcher known and well known by Jayaseta as Grandpa Keling, one of the teachers of canuragannya science while still feeling in Giri Kedaton who came from the country of Hindustan.

Inevitably, the shot instantly erupted deafeningly and made the air filled with thick white smoke.

Grandpa Keling rolled around nimbly, then threw his disc. The sharp round flat slab slid into two bedil muzzles. Although it did not damage the firearm and did not kill the enemy, the attention of the shooters was a mess. The muzzle shifted and the body of the shooter hit the companion next to him, and so on.

This provides an opportunity for Jayaseta, Datuk Mas Kuning, Narendra and Katilapan to move quickly to avoid places that can be targeted.

In addition, there are still additional surprises.

Two crewmen from Bali nimbly jumped up and climbed to the top floor. With so deft both have pulled out two blades of dagger named knife and ready to pour into the body of the enemy.

In circumstances that did not allow for this firing, the paraphernalia decided to pass the Pranggi-style sword from the scabbard hanging from their waists. The long sword was almost similar to the rapier, but slightly wider with a bowl-like stalk as a covering and finger protector.

Two Balinese swordsmen thrust their knifepoint rapidly. Both tried to use space and time as best they could before the shooters managed to re-prepare the beds.

Knives slapped the arms, shoulders and chests of the shooters. One Flores man had managed to pull out his Pranggi sword and thrust towards the two Bali attackers.

The noisy and dense atmosphere on the upper deck made every attack troublesome. In this case, the shooters were clearly out of luck. The stabbing attack of the shooter Flores was inevitable, even he himself had to bear the consequences. His outstretched hand was immediately slapped by a dipping knife. Due to the pain, his body smeared, hitting the ranks of other shooters who piled up behind him, then fell to the lower deck. His body crashed and was most likely killed, or at least severely injured.

Grandpa Keling looked at Jayaseta. He immediately took off his mask. The face of the disciple looked so surprised and happy. A sense of longing and curiosity is clearly drawn there.

"Grandpa Keling, how can ...," Jayaseta's question hangs in the air.

"Once, later on the story. I also have a lot of questions for you, Jayaseta, the Thousand Mask Swordsman," said the teacher. His gaze also pounded the eyes of his old friend, Datuk Mas Kuning. "Ah, you, Yellow Mas. You still seem to be influenced, too," said Grandpa Keling.

Datuk Mas Kuning smiled, "But it is not at all comparable to the ability of your disciple, Bharata," he replied.

"Alright, it seems quite old enough to miss. We'll connect again. Let me and my two friends from Bali take care of the Pranggi claws. You guys just keep watch down here because you've been fighting from before," said Grandpa Keling. He did not heed the objections of the four warriors who boarded this ship. Instead he immediately slid up onto the top deck, helping the two 'friends' of Balinya.

Now things are even more gripping for de Paula. The crew that came from Nias' slave started to move. They took various things that could be used as weapons.

At first they did not want to interfere, after all they were bought from the beginning as slaves, not free servants. The Nias warriors have a decent life compared to them because the champions have martial skills that can be used to make them have higher levels and degrees. But look at it now. The lives of the Nias warriors were the same, even worse than them.

The warriors of Toba, Aceh, Mangkasara and Bugis, as well as Nias have fallen. Maybe it's time to differentiate themselves.

The crew who were on the hull as rowers had already pushed their way up. They beat up their foreman masters who had always been the government violently, ruthlessly and vilely. This group of Nias rower slaves heard clearly that on the deck, victory was on the side of the warriors who came to visit this ship.

So did the crew who had been working to roll the rope and set the screen with two Balinese and Grandpa Keling who they did not know were the warriors too, immediately took the axe, knife, machete, machete, wooden batons, even daggers from defeated or dead ship warriors.

Everything is jerking forward, guarding from the bottom ready to attack upwards.

Grandpa Rivet jumped nimble. Thunder Kicks from the South that are still 'original' hit the shooters. Their bedding fell. In that narrow space, two Balinese people are also very adept at playing a knife so that the sword Pranggi does not work well.

Grandpa Keling with his bare hands knocked down the shooters by kicking them until they fell to the lower deck. It was there that their bodies were stoned and chopped by the crew of Nias who had become anxious about their condition.

De Paula became very pale. Both of his hands holding the gun were shaking.

"Stop everything!" suddenly the skipper who was standing in front of de Paula shouted loudly. "Stop this battle. There are enough casualties for today. Don't make the deck of my ship red" he exclaimed.

For some reason, perhaps because of the power of the shouts of the skipper who was coated with a certain energy or indeed because of his voice that was full of authority and power, which was obviously suddenly everyone stopped from whatever they did, including the attack of the crew Nias, as well as the battle of two Balinese warriors with Grandpa Keling hit the gunmen.

"My name is Jala Jangkung, once again, Jala Jangkung. I'm the captain of this ship who is fully responsible for the lives of my crew and my warrior warriors on the deck" he exclaimed. He turned to look at de Paula, the bull officer with power and money, curled up like a coward.

Jala Jangkung then looked towards the warriors who defeated the superior warriors. "I thought you were the one they knew as the Thousand Mask Swordsman. I really did not expect my ship to be visited by the great swordsman to choose the famous match," he said referring to Jayaseta.

"I will let you and your companions take over this ship and get any news and explanation you want, including the soul of this master, de Paula of Pranggi, if you defeat me," said the skipper. Of course his words made de Paula surprised and riled. "What do you mean, Jala Jangkung? Don't forget who you're with right now. I am your master, I pay for all your ship needs" de Paula explained.

"Master, it's not the time to play that arrogant and domineering role of yours now. You wanna die?" reply Jala Jangkung, making de Paula immediately speechless to hear the word 'dead'.

"Well, you're a joke, that's all," Katilapan said. "Still trying to bargain? Didn't you see for yourself that this ship will soon be defeated. What do we have to bargain for?"

"Not what Kakang Katilapan. He was a skipper. He just wanted to show his responsibility. I will serve the challenge" Jayaseta said softly to Katilapan.

He then shouted loudly at the skipper, "Choose your weapon, master skipper. If I lose, let alone get killed, we'll leave this ship. However, I need to warn you. I will use a rattan stick, not a sharp weapon so there is no need to kill you and get an explanation directly from master. But that doesn't mean you won't get hurt. I will only warn you that I will break the captain's legs" Jayaseta said coldly.
