Soon, one by one of them began to show signs of wanting to launch an attack.
The wolf... The spider...
There are two types of monsters at once that I will be facing right now. They numbered about eight, with positions already encircling me from all directions. If it's like this.
"Thank you all. I don't have to bother looking for you."
Both of my legs immediately took a position, and both of my hands readied the gun to shoot.
"You are, my dear."
Awuuu!!
One of them howled, the other one started running and jumped at me.
I ran to the back while pointing both my guns at them.
Dor's! Dor's!
Dor's! Dor's!
One wolf was hit by a bullet. Although it is still level 1, but the ability to shoot accurately has become one within me!
Dor's! Dor's! Dor's!
Some of them kept chasing me while dodging bullets. As soon as it was close, a wolf lunged...
Buk up!
Quickly my foot kicked the wolf's head to make it bounce. Even though I am a Marksman, there is no reason for me not to learn martial techniques. It was my brother who was very meritorious in teaching martial techniques in the real world.
Buk up! Buk up!
Dor's!
Another one fell, and the other one went crashing. But their efforts were in vain as my melee fighting skills were also quite well-trained.
Rawwr!!
Dor's! Dor's! Dor's!
One more of them fell. But since then...
"Whup!" My body quickly bent backwards.
A web was shot quickly at me by a spider. I almost forgot there were spiders around. I saw that there were three of them, it shouldn't be difficult if the three spiders were finished first.
After replacing the bullet, I ran towards the spider and ignored the few remaining wolves.
In a fight in the RPG world, long-range attackers must be wary of because they will be very troublesome. So if they can, they should all be removed first.
Pshuut! Pshuut!
Pshuut!
The spider fired its web at me again, then I easily dodged all of their attacks.
When my position was right, I pointed both muzzles of my gun at them. At this close distance, there was no way I could miss it except for my sharp pistol.
Graauuk!
"Yeah!" A wolf suddenly jumped up and lunged at me. But I still managed to dodge his attack by retreating backwards.
"Tu-wait. What?!" When my feet were fresh, it felt like they were being held back by something. "Spider's web!"
Unbeknownst to me, one of my legs got stuck in a sticky net shot. I had trouble moving, and the pack of wolves came back to me to attack. If it continues like this, I'll have trouble dodging their attacks.
Pshuut! Pshuut!
A rawwrr!
The spider in front of me shot and the other wolf came back. They attacked simultaneously with unreasonable coordination.
"Sy base!"
Dor's! Dor's! Dor's!
I shot one of the crashing wolves while dodging the incoming net. The wolf died, then I used its body to hold back the spider web that came.
With great difficulty I tried to take off my feet that were still stuck.
"Whoaah!!" After the net came off, I was thrown back because it was pulling too hard.
"That's it!"
I rubbed my sore ass while standing up.
There was one more wolf left, and there were still three spiders hiding above the trees. My goal was to finish off the three spiders first, but in the end even a pack of wolves that ran out first.
Since then I have still not used the Piercing Shot skill to them, probably because they are still classified as weak monsters and can be defeated without the need for a strong attack.
[Piercing Shot (Active).
Lv. 1
I see, yes. So I can only use that skill every single minute. Then what about my passive skill?
[Eagle Eye (Passive).
Lv. 1
Increase Accuracy by 5% in bright and open places, and in standby by 8%/9%/10%.]
Unfortunately this forbidden forest was open but not bright. So I can't accept the effects of that passivity. But I can still take advantage of the effects of both if I shoot on standby.
Even though I said they were weak monsters, still fighting them alone with basic equipment could complicate the fight. The proof is that a pack of wolves can prevent me from attacking a group of wolves first so that I become difficult in fighting.
They were arguably smart enough for a monster, and were lucky to find adventurers who were alone. But their misfortune came later because of meeting with adventurers who were none other than me.
"It's time to try this first skill." I took up my position again, and put both of my pistols in hand.
A last wolf lunged back at me, then the three spiders showed themselves again to fire the web. By imagining the direction the wolf was pouncing on me and the shooting of its spider web, I should be able to predict where my next move was to shoot.
When the wolf was near, I dropped myself behind following the distance from his safety, then used both of my legs to throw him further back. While in that movement, I could also avoid the net shots from the spiders without being scratched in the slightest.
With this, "Piercing Shot!"
Dor's! Dor's!
One bullet I fired towards the wolf, so it penetrated the wolf's stomach very smoothly without making a shock. Then the other one I pointed to one of the spiders hiding behind the trees, to make the trunk of the tree partially destroyed.
The shots resulting from this skill were truly great! I was impressed with my first skill at level one being strong enough to defeat monsters.
The other two spiders tried to escape after learning that their attempt to attack me had failed. "It's not that easy, spiderso."
Once again I aimed at them, then fired a few bullets right at the two spiders. It ended my first fight in the forbidden forest and in this game world.
Exciting, fun, yet still not stressful. I will not return if I have not found a monster that can draw against me in this forest.
Then all the monsters I just defeated turned to ashes and dropped some items. Just like some other games.
"Drop items!" With a feeling of pleasure, I gathered all the items that had fallen into the storage bag.
Wolf fangs, and also small crystals. Then there was a thread from the spider that I also defeated just now.
Out of the five wolves and three spiders I defeated, I got 5 fangs, 2 skins, 2 threads, and 8 small crystals.
The size of the crystal is as big as the tip of the thumb. Much smaller than the size of the monster crystals in some of the games I've played. But hopefully the selling value is not much different when sold.
What kind of monster did I just fight? They seemed too easy to deal with a level 1 adventurer like me. Even after defeating eight monsters, I did not level up at all to level 2. Though the amount of Exp needed is not too much.
Rprr!
It is enough to check the system in a game that is a bit strange. The wolves are back.
"Oh ow!"
When I turned around, I saw a large group of wolves. If I look more closely, their number is about 10 that I can currently see. But there is still the possibility that some of them are blocked by forest fog.
If this is the case, I don't want to have to run. With the initial equipment and one skill that had a distance of 1 minute use, it was tantamount to suicide facing them all.
I don't want to die silly being gang-raped by a pack of wolves. Want as fast as they chase me, I can still finish them off one by one while running. But my top priority is to keep running from them first.
Awuuu!!
"Run!!"
There are still some drop items I left behind. But it's better than my lost life!
Dor's! Dor's! Dor's!
I shot them while rubbing them between the trees.
Buk up! Buk up!
Dor's! Dor's! Dor's!
I was attacked by two wolves at once.
The first wolf I dodged, the second and third I confronted them with punches and kicks. Where am I going now? Soon they will all be surrounding me from all directions!
A wolf came back to me from the side, and I dodged it and shot it.
They were all chasing me from right and left. It seems like they are planning to intercept me from the front as well.
Looks like I have to babble again and bring out my Piercing Shot skill on them. Reduce their numbers one by one while running, better than facing them all at once.
Cracks!
"Did?!" Just now that I wanted to take the initiative to strike back, one of my legs stumbled over a tree root and fell forward.
I had been monitoring the pack of wolves to avoid them and look for moments, and it made me forget to watch the road ahead of me.
As a result, I fell into a cliff that was quite high from where I was before.
"Whaaahoo!!!"
