Chapter 32: A small celebration

After leaving the knight's office, the six of us decided to have lunch together at a bar. For now, the cash we hold is around 1 million nira. So we decided to spend it together.

Is that wasteful? Take it easy, we will only spend about 100,000 dollars so that the remaining amount can be divided equally. Each one of us will receive 150,000 nira, and my proposal is accepted by all.

"Where are we going, Riel?" Ask Momo. His mood has been very good since we came home from the bandit headquarters yesterday.

His friends who were captured by the bandits survived and returned to his village. Then we also managed to save themselves from their place without being seriously injured.

"Hmm, maybe we'll find a bar that's famous for its tastiest, most luxurious, most expensive food..."

"No. No need to waste money excessively." Shin cut my sentence with his lecture.

"Heee, why? Though we will get 10 million dollars from the spoils of war, and once a sumptuous meal will not spend your money at once."

"That's not the problem. If you start trying to enjoy luxury, you'll get used to it."

"Then, where are we going to eat?"

Shin simply replied by telling him to follow him. I thought he'd surprise her with a nice place to eat, but it's rarely known to people here.

"Oh, yes. holy brothers there, where are you from?" I asked Mika and Christa. Saints I mean because they are a Priestess and a Cleric. You know what their background looks like.

"We are from the City of Atria, the capital of the kingdom of Itonia. We were born, grew up, and studied there." Mika answered him smoothly. That was because he was carrying his sword and shield, then his nature would change like a real man.

"Then after graduation, my brother and I tried to become adventurers to see the outside world. Turns out being an adventurer was more fun than I thought." Christ added.

Her attitude was very cheerful, but I felt that there was another side to the cheerfulness that she showed. That's just in my experience. Because it could be that these brothers actually have the opposite nature.

"really? When you become an adventurer, what have you accomplished?" I wonder about their experience. While walking after Shin, there was no harm in breaking the silence with a little chatter.

"When I first became an adventurer, my brother and I took a request for a beginner. We searched for herbs in the forest, hunted wild animals, and escorted a merchant on their way.

I also remember the first time I entered the dungeon. Brother dropped his weapon, then I became the prince who protected him while inside. We were trapped inside until another group of adventurers came."

"Ahh, I was still very weak back then. Sorry for not being able to protect my sweet little sister in there."

"Huu, sister can. But now you're great, even though yesterday you were kidnapped because you thought it was a pretty girl."

"Hey, it can't be like that with your own brother."

"Hehe."

They're actually too familiar, or brocon and siscon? Even so, the important thing is that I am entertained by their cuteness.

"You guys ever been to a dungeon? What dungeon have you been to?" I asked them again, so they wouldn't keep on making out. 

"Near the capital, there was a most large and famous dungeon named the Amber Dungeon. The name of the dungeon was taken by its inventor named Amber. He used to be a very great and famous adventurer. But now he's retired and he's secluded himself somewhere." Christa explained it to me.

I had heard the name of the dungeon from the group of adventurers who tricked me. Her name was Clem, a female adventurer our age in the group. But ironically the compactness they showed me turned out to be just acting.

"We've arrived." Shin stopped his steps, we stopped behind him.

We were around the trading district and the adventurer district. There were a few bars in front of us, but we stopped in front of a bar that looked very luxurious. 

"This bar again?" Ask Momo doubtfully.

"Yes, I expected it. So I just kept quiet." Clara added.

Mika and Christa seemed to be in doubt about the dining place we went to. From the looks of it, the two of them must have never been to this place. They were only adventurers from the capital who happened to stop by in this city. Either because of the request or what.

Then, as you've guessed. This is a bar we've been to before.

The bar belongs to a rabbit named Adele.

"Why did you choose this place, Shin?" My toot.

"You'll know after trying the cooking." Answer's short.

Oh, okay. Before I only ordered a pretty good apple cider drink, but didn't try the food. But if this bar is empty of visitors, I doubt the taste of the cuisine.

Without saying much, the six of us entered the deserted bar. It was completely deserted, there was absolutely no one in it.

"Welcome home." Adele, the bunny bartender greeted us. He stood quietly on his desk wiping a glass.

As soon as the six of us entered the bar, Adele paused for a moment wiping her glass and watching us.

"So many here."

"Just want to have a little celebration. Can you get it ready for us?" Shin approached Adele's desk. They both look like they know each other.

"Of course more. Six people, and..." Shin looked towards all of us. Of the five of us, everyone shook their heads except for Clara. He's nodding. "Two beers. The rest please find another."

"Alright, please find a comfortable place for you. Hana, please get me a drink without alcohol outside!"

"okay!" Someone snatched from the room inside.

Her voice sounds like a girl. I just found out that someone else is working in this place.

Shin told us to take a seat in the corner. This place is actually not dark because of daylight, but at least prepare a candlelight even if only a few in each corner.

The impression of this room does not look comfortable to eat. Mika and Christa also look uncomfortable with this place due to the lack of lighting.

"Sorry to keep you waiting." Someone came from behind the room inside the bar. She is a girl who dresses just like Adele, but has cat ears like Momo. The color might be a bit dark, but still I was interested when I saw it.

If that name was called earlier, it was possible that she was Hana. He nimbly opened the shop window, tidied up the messy table, and lit the lamp from the magic crystal already attached to the wall.

"A place like this has illumination of magic crystals?" Mika looked at wonder.

"Great, even though magic crystals are quite expensive objects on the market." Christa commented.

From what I understand, I also feel the same way as them. Not just anyone has magic crystals that they can make as lighting. Since the source was from a dungeon, then the selling price was quite high.

They doubt it because this bar looks lonely and does not earn enough to buy the object. Instantly, this place changed for the better after Hana cleared everything up. 

"What exactly is this place?" Now it's my turn to comment.

Hana took something from the bartender's desk. It was a wooden board with a rope, then he hung it in front of the bar to make it visible to people. It says, "This place has been booked."

Cool.

After installing the board, Hana did not return to the bar. He came out and went somewhere running. 

While waiting, we talked a little about this bar. Especially those brothers. They look amazed when they find a bar that can change like this according to its customers.

"That's because the main sale of this bar isn't the food. But if you want to buy food, this bar also provides." Shin's answer was full of puzzles. 

I understood a little what Shin said. Journalist Juan also liked this place for a certain reason. Oh, yes!. Is he on the 2nd floor now?

No, I can't leave them here just because of my personal affairs. I should be able to enjoy this meal together as best I can.

If from what I remember, eating together or some kind of adventurer celebration is usually done at dinner time. Doing it during the day actually detracts from the value of the celebration. But that's okay, because Mika and Christa have to go back to the capital.

"Thank you for waiting." Ten minutes later, Adele came carrying a lot of food in both hands. Hana also came behind him bringing drinks for the six of us at once.

"It! ?" I couldn't believe it when I saw the dishes they were serving in front of us.

In just ten minutes, the two of them were able to serve this amazing meal? From the aroma and color of each ingredient, the way they cook cannot be underestimated at all.

The aroma of the seasoning is very pronounced, the color of the meat and vegetables are cooked perfectly, very arousing my appetite.

Momo had already drooled, and the Sisters also looked impatient to taste it.

"What are you waiting for? Enjoy it while it's still warm." Said Shin.

Of course, we all can't wait to enjoy this meal.

"Good meal!"

It tastes like 5-star restaurant cuisine in my world.

Momo ate the meat very greedily, while the brothers enjoyed the dish quietly and happily.

If Shin and Clara, they both look longing to enjoy the food they eat. As expected, they must have been to this place before.

"Adele is so good at cooking, why don't you?" Shin glanced towards Clara.

"Hee, that's his job." Clara's whining so badly." I'm just a receptionist of the guild. What do you expect from a retired adventurer like me?"

Hahaha, it is possible that the two of them were joking like that. When it comes to cooking, I'm also very good at making instant food.

But for now, I enjoy the food they serve with all my heart. Since coming to another world, it was the first time I had tasted such a delicious meal, which made me feel more at home in this new world.

While eating, it must be fun if there is some kind of fun chat. Since this bar had been ours for a while, I felt more comfortable talking to them about anything. Mika and Christa have not yet left for the capital.

I was curious about the items we got from the bandit headquarters. How did Shin and Clara sell everything into money? If they had ever been adventurers, perhaps they knew of some other amazing places besides this place.

I can't wait to see what I'll find while being an adventurer. I want to go back to the dungeon and go deeper, also taking out dangerous requests against the big and monstrous monsters.
