The Seven World Of Fantasy

The Seven World Of Fantasy
Chapter 11's

As the sun began to set in the sky, Shin and I had already finished our work and returned to the Adventurers Guild.

"We're back..."

The atmosphere of the guild in the afternoon was not as quiet as what I thought. There were still some adventurers who had just finished their work, or those who were eating with their group at the bar.

"Hey look at that, the new boy."

"Did the arrogant new boy pick up the request looking for herbs? Ahaha!"

Hmh! They have been vengeful for me since yesterday.

I'm not the one who took this request. Of course I will definitely choose to take the request of hunting monsters or something more challenging. It's just that suddenly I have a babysitter here.

"Welcome back, you two." Clara welcomed us to her reception desk. There were no adventurers in line because on average they had all come back before me, or they might not be finished until tomorrow.

"This, the herbs we've collected." Shin handed over some sacks of herbs to Clara at his desk.

"Hey! Us?! Didn't I collect all those thick plants?" My rebut. It's good that he followed her by putting his name when he was just paying attention.

"Tanpaku, you're just gonna take the grass for the fodder."

"From the beginning who agreed to take the request."

"That's all so you can learn from the basics of adventure."

"Huhuh?!" Just so you know, I've been adventuring to beat Aldebaran and Fomalhaut in other games. Then you're now telling me to pluck the grass?!

"Already, already. As long as you finish the job well, someday you'll take on challenging requests." Clara calmed me.

After tidying up a stack of sacks on her desk, Clara gave us a piece of paper and also her stationery. "Please make your report."

Shin took the sheet and handed it to me. "Now, it's an exercise to make your report."

"What?! Why am I the one who has to make a report for the triviality of plucking grass?"

"It's not about plucking grass, but it's about making your first report. Then do it."

Haaah!! I'm really upset with this pretentious guy chasing me!

I picked up the piece of paper and started writing a report on it. Again this is not a game, but another strange world and I still do not know its origin.

Fucking Shin took me to the fucking forest, then stopped in the middle of the fucking forest. He told me to look for herbs in the form of ordinary fucking grass, until the afternoon I continued to look for different fucking plants up to 4 fucking sacks.

"It." I submitted my report to Clara. After the rabbit read it for a moment, he smiled in surprise at the results of my writing.

"Ahaha.well, Riel. Thank you for completing the request, and here's the pay for your work." Clara gave me a small bag of money.

On top of it, there is a screen that shows the contents of the bag. It's 10,000 nira.

Very small when compared to the money I got from the results of yesterday's bet. I took the money, then showed it to Shin.

"This. Take half for you."

"no need. Just use it for your needs or save up to pay for the gun later."

"Oh, okay. I'll keep it to myself then." I think that boy actually has a lot of money.

After finishing reporting to the guild and receiving his wages, the two of us will return back to the inn to rest.

I can't believe plucking grass all day is tiring. I only realized it from the moment I came back to remember that this was not the game world I knew. Although there was such a system screen within the game world, everyone here was definitely not an NPC.

Tonight Shin went back to sleep outside. I didn't know he was renting anywhere else out there, or he was secretly practicing at night.

I feel bad if he has to rent another place just because of me. Maybe from tomorrow I'll start renting my own room.

The next day, I woke up when Shin knocked on the door. We went back to breakfast together, cleaned ourselves up, then headed back to the Adventurers Guild.

My third day in this world, I will instantly take on the request of hunting monsters in order to level up quickly and get an answer.

"It." Shin gave me a piece of request paper that he had just picked up. "Today we'll take this request."

I took the paper, then saw what request was written there. The first hope that came to my mind was indeed not as far as directly exploring the dungeon, perhaps just hunting down a savage beast was enough.

"Why look for a lost animal?" I put on a sullen face annoyed to Shin.

"Yesterday you've learned about distinguishing plants and herbs, herbs and also herbs. Then now is the time to learn to look for traces of animals." Shin replied soberly. He gave me an explanation like a teacher who gave me the basics of adventure.

Some adventurers noticed me and threw their laughter knowing the request I received. They are adventurers who have not liked me since yesterday.

I don't really remember how to handle people like them in my previous world. But I choose to ignore them.

"Good morning, Riel, Shin. Have you found the right request for you?" Greet Clara with her sweet smile. It was appropriate for the guild receptionist to greet the adventurers kindly.

Although...

"I'll take this request!" I replied, putting down the request sheet while hitting the table.

Clara smiled. He confirmed the request I took, then invited the two of us to head to the request maker's place.

Such were my first days as an adventurer after all this time. Starting from looking for herbs, lost cats, escorting a trader, to the last one is hunting wild boars.

Yeah, a boar. It's not a wolf that can pounce on you, or a big snake that can eat you. But only a wild boar butted or escaped from our pursuit.

Then after that, there was a reason that could get me out of this impromptu teacher who was not exciting at all.

"Hey Shin." Call me heavy.

Shin heard and looked at me. Her face was flat as usual, but she kept listening to my call. "why?"

"From today on, I'll handpick the request I took!"

"Hmm? It's up to you." After replying, he again walked towards the guild as usual.

He's agreed? He didn't argue with me for any more strange reasons? Then why haven't I said it since yesterday?!

"All right." Upon our arrival at the adventurer guild, I went straight to the request board and started looking for an interesting request for me.

Since we left quite early in the morning, there were still many other adventurers who were crowding around to look for requests as well. I had to jostle and move quickly to find a request not to go first.

However, since my height was arguably below that of an average adventurer here, I had enough trouble finding a request on the board. As a result I only get the rest of the previous one.

That's very unlucky. There are 3 requests that have not been taken from the board. One of them was too far away, the other one needed a party of 4 more people, and the other one had a fairly small amount of rewards.

The third request came from one of the hunters in a village, and the adventurer's recommendation for this request was a long-range attacker. I fulfilled that recommendation, but the reward made sense to make the other adventurers uninterested.

I don't give a shit. As long as it's not a boring job like yesterday. I'll keep taking it to start a new step.

"Have you got what you're looking for?" Shin asked me.

"We're going to the village to hunt!" I answered with great enthusiasm.
