Chapter 9's

I dream. I was still lying on the bed, staring at the dark ceiling of the room.

"Welcome, Shin, Riel! Is your night fun?"

"Level 2." Clara answered proudly.

"But I already leveled up 2 yesterday."

"Oh, come. There's no need to joke that far if you're really excited about being an adventurer." Clara doesn't believe what I said.

"Can you show me your adventure card, Riel." Ask Shin.

"More." I took my adventurer card and showed it to Shin.

Shin took it and then noticed it. "Level 2."

Clara heard it, "you're just kidding, right?" The rabbit still couldn't believe it. "Give me!"

My adventure card changed hands very quickly. The rabbit watched every letter of the card very carefully.

"No way... Not likely... " The rabbit's eyes widened after seeing my adventurer card. "This is the first time I've seen an adventurer who leveled up at level 2 on his first day!"

After Clara said that, the attention of all the adventurers within the guild was on my way.

Most of their gazes looked at me as if they could not believe it. I'm used to this kind of thing, which is when everyone is surprised by my achievements.

"What's wrong? Isn't going up 1 level a natural thing?" 

As I slipped saying that, Shin patted my shoulder.

I understand what he means. He responded to my words and told me to look back at everyone. Then their expressions changed.

"Riel." Call Clara. "Everyone in this world has a level from 1 to 10 only. So raising those 1 levels takes a while."

What the fuck? 

In the game world, usually a person's level can be up to 100 or even more depending on the game. I have never found a level that is only up to 10.

"So, how roughly would it take for an adventurer to rise to level 2?" My toot.

"3 Months." A foreign adventurer answered me.

When I looked, it was the adventurer who first mocked me.

"It took me 3 months from my first day to climb to level 2."

"really? I haven't even levelled up until now."

"I've been almost 1 year since level 2, but haven't moved to level 3." Said a party I met yesterday at a forest crossing.

"Certainly that?" Mumamku. I am still a stranger to the world of adventurers after all this time.

"Why do you look at us in wonder, arrogant girl? You feel that you are strong just because you can level up on your first day?" The man approached me with a face full of anger.

I was terrified of being approached by him. But Shin stepped forward to hinder that person.

"Sorry, but this girl doesn't know anything about the adventurous world yet. So please understand him."

"Curtain! You're just lucky to have a brother like him." The adventurer got away from us. But the gazes of all the adventurers still looked uncomfortably towards my eyes.

I feel like I can be bullied at any time if there is no Shin.

"Alright, Riel. Take a request and during the journey we will find a new weapon for you." Shin directed my body to refocus on the reception desk where Clara was standing guard.

"It's okay, Riel. You are so great! Then as time goes by you will definitely get used to the adventurous world." Clara.

That doesn't sound like it can amuse me. 

"Can you get us a light request?" Ask Shin.

"All right!" Answer Clara.

I haven't been back in a fantasy adventure in a long time. But once I got back, I was treated to a different system than the last time I knew.

I feel uncomfortable. My stomach felt strange as long as I was inside the Adventurers Guild.
