Time keeps going. Removing some human memories. But, time also does not succeed in eliminating the sweet memories of some other humans.
Bad memories always lingered in Intan Kuara's mind. Even after his age stepped on the head of three.
A bright Sunday morning. The middle estuary is fun to enjoy the morning running sports around the Jogja Expo Center building. His attention was never separated from the figure of the little girl running before him.
“Micha, be careful!” She was strangled once when the 4-year-old girl ran too fast.
“Mother, want it!” Point Micha towards the grilled meatball seller.
I guess, six rounds is enough to make his body sweat. So he decided to obey Micha's will. He took the little girl to the seller and ordered a few stabs.
In a place not far away, a pair of eyes continued to pay close attention to Kuara.
“Mother want?” Tanya Micha thrusts a meatball into Kuara's mouth.
“Aaaaa.” The voice opened its mouth wide to ask in a bribe. “Thanks.” Kuara presents a sweet kiss on a tiny ppi Micha.
“Ara!” A call made Kuara look over.
“Fio. Here!” Kuara called Fio who was also running in the morning along with her husband, Sota.
“It's done?” Ask Fio.
“Let's go again.”
“Halo, beautiful aunt. What else to eat?”
“Bakso burn. Aunt Fio want?” Micha immediately fed Fio.
“Hemm. Tasty. Thanks Micha gorgeous.”
“Oom also want, dong.” Sota seduces Micha.
Micka stared at her grilled meatball skewer of which only one was left. Then cast his gaze at Sota. With a wrinkled face, Micha extended her grilled meatballs to Sota.
Sota chuckled then crouched down in front of Micha. He stroked the pretty girl's head slowly.
“Heheheh. Oom was just kidding. This, for Micha only.” Sota handed the meatballs back to Micha. The little girl was instantly excited and finished it.
“Micha want again?” Ask Kuara.
“No, Mother. Micha is full.” Micha showed her stomach while stroking it.
“Ra, we run first, yes.” Pamit Fio who then ran along with Sota.
The estuary decided to sit on the garden divider under a shady tree. Let Micha play with her papa. He just watched it from his place.
The estuarine feels thirsty after sweating quite a lot. Fortunately, he brought a bottle of water. He immediately drank the water.
SRRUUTS!
Kuara was stunned when suddenly someone grabbed the bottle of drinking water and immediately swallowed it to the end. He looked up to see the man who had taken his drinking water.
“Awan?” He was surprised not to play to see a man who had finished his drink.
“Ahh, freshness.” Clouds that take a seat next to the Estuary. He gave the empty bottle back to the owner.
While Kuara, he just blinked his eyes, seeing no confidence in the clouds who were now sitting next to him.
“Hai, how are you?” Ask the Clouds while throwing a smile.
“You?” Kuara is still not sure if what she saw was an illusion because she was tired of exercising, or indeed the clouds are really in front of her.
“Hem? Why?”
The estuary is still open. Seeing that the clouds waved their hands in front of Kuara's face.
“Ara? You okay?”
“Hahaha. Of course it's really me. Who is it?”
“You changed a lot.”
“More handsome? It's definitely.”
“And you're still big head.”
“No, Ara. I just got taller. My head is still the same.”
The voice could not help but laugh. The clouds changed a lot, but at the same time, he was still just as ridiculous.
“You're this. What are you doing here?”
“Sedang sports. You alone?”
“Sama.” Answer the returning estuary throwing a forward look.
Kuara's heart pias as the memories puzle-puzle scattered on his head. Looking at the face of the clouds, it reminded him of the sweet times of the past. The times when his heart kept pounding because of the little concerns of the man.
“So, how have you been all this time?” The sound of the clouds made Kuara look over.
“As you can see. It's been better. You alone?”
“Not much has changed. It's just that now I'm busy taking care of the foundation.”
Ah, Kuara almost forgot that Awan is the heir to the Abhimanyu Foundation.
“So, do you enjoy being an adult?” Ask Kuara.
“Not really. Because there is no you.”
The voice scrunched her forehead hearing that sentence. Whatdoes thatmean?
“I heard you've been a lecturer at the Halim campus? Congratulations yes. Sorry I was late in saying it. I'm glad you finally made your dream come true. It's not in vain that you keep your commitment first.”
The clouds are recalling their memory. Where once his heart was filled only by a kuara. Even now, his heart is still filled by Kuara.
If the girl knew.
All this time, Cloud had remained on her feelings. He faithfully guarded his heart for a Kuara. After he helped Kuara 4 years ago in Maliboro, he never again met the girl. And with his busy work taking care of the foundation and the company, plus with the health of his father, the focus of Awan so reduced to Kuara.
And his existence here right now is no coincidence. Yesterday, Awan had moved to the same residential complex as Kuara. He is used to his work. And on the sidelines of his busy life, he decided to return to keep his promise to return to Kuara.
I hope that promise can be fulfilled this time. May Kuara not get married so she can get the girl back. That was his hope for the past few years.
At first, she was met with opposition from her mother when she planned to move. But, the condition of his father who had been much better after being treated in Boston, made him round out his intentions. All the ways Cloud did to get permission from both his parents.
And since then the clouds have continued to pay attention to the Quara. He immediately approached when he saw Kuara sitting by herself.
To be honest, Awan was curious about the little girl who had always seemed familiar with Kuara. But he did not dare to ask. He was afraid of the possibility he could not face.
“Yes, I've worked hard.”
“I'm proud of you, Kuara. You look better.”
Without feeling awkward, Clouds rubbed his head gently. Makes the voice gasp with an almost uncontrollable heartbeat. There was a lump of warmth that flowed through each of his veins.
This sensation, is a warming sensation that he had felt ten years ago.
The voice and the clouds looked at each other with uncertain feelings.
“Mother!!” The screams of Micha who was in her papa sling surprised Kuara. Micha came down from the sling and wrestled in Kuara's lap. Staring cynically at the man sitting next to his mother.
Cloud Heart? Looks like it's broken off from the stalk. Looking at the figure of the spoiled little girl to Kuara. Then turned to look at the dashing and handsome man standing before them. His heart has broken. Causing pain running all over his body.
It seemed that the promise would not be able to be fulfilled. Is it too late?
