Chapters 32. I Don't Want to Lose Again

Armstrong's Mension, Newcastle (Tyle and Wear), UK - 08.13 am.

I washed my face a few times before looking in the mirror. I've never looked at myself in the mirror. I turned my body and checked my back. A smile spread on my lips. It doesn't look like anything, I just saw my tattoo, but I really know what it was like when Elisa's fingernails grabbed my back skin.

Never imagined that I would do it with Elisha, it felt like I was going back to doing it for the first time. And sure enough we had gone through it, I even managed to control myself while doing it. Yes, although in fact this morning I witnessed Elisha who could not get up from the bed.

I didn't lie when I said I never found a woman who couldn't get up after sleeping with me. Remembering the sentence I gave to Elisha made me chuckle to myself.

After a long time in Elisha's bathroom, I finally decided to go out. When I came out, I saw that Elisha was ready. He can already sit on his bed and eat his dessert. His cynical gaze did not intimidate me, instead chuckling at what he said. After jokingly spending time with Elisha, I decided to leave.

I spent all day with Zach and here I am at Zach's Missions.

"So you already know who's predicted to do big things in the next few days?" Zach asked without looking at me.

"Still on my target, Aleksey."

Zach who had been struggling at his desk had finally turned his attention to me. "It seems that it is still not, from some agents who are still watching the movement of Aleksey is still safe and nothing suspicious. It's just that a few days ago there was an agent sneaking into some network that was still in contact with him. I don't know for sure, it looks like he's hiring a hit man."

I snorted at Zach's information, "Did he not want to dirty his hands?"

Zach tapped on the table with a pen in his hand as he replied, "Yes I guess after the auction he chose to be more careful. Even the security at his residence was tightened, our agent could find nothing but just hack his communication system which occasionally fissures."

I closed my eyes when I thought about the auction. "Yes you're right, after the auction I think he'll be on the list of people I should kill if he tries to pry at my family too."

Zach narrowed his eyes before commenting, "I don't think if he knew he would dare to disturb your family, Leon."

"Well, no one knows about it considering Jose's gone, and many don't like my father. But what I'm wondering is, does Jonathan know the ins and outs of my family?"

"You're kidding me still asking that? Come on, he can't possibly not know. I've even found out how many times he's been in contact with your dad."

A feeling of wonder approached me, "My father?"

"Yes, I think your father was always scraping things with his family. I even found his men wandering around the auction. Don't you know after Elisha's sighting a few months ago, when you decided to disappear after and tomorrow your father strangely came to James?"

My confusion doubled, "For what?"

"I heard I'm just apologizing for you."

I finally stood up from my seat, "That's right! My father never even apologized for what he did, what else I had to do."

"You don't believe it? Just ask James."

I was silent for quite a while. What exactly is Dad planning?

With a few things that I just heard like a silly riddle, I decided I would figure it out later. All I need is to calm down.

I decided to sleep in the east mension. I didn't want to risk sneaking back into Elisha's room just to see him do well. But before I go to sleep, I will see what Elisha does without me.

Yes, I again violated Elisha's privacy. Earlier this morning before leaving I put a cctv in some part of Elisha's room. Not without reason last night I sneaked into the Amatrong family's ministry. Of course I put some very small cctv in some corner of the mension just in case.

A few days later...

These two days I visited Elisha in his office and only accompanied him to lunch. Pretty fun actually on the sidelines of my growing concern. How not? Dereck reported that someone was caught sneaking around and almost entered the area around the Armstrong mission.

When I confirmed it to Zach, it was true. And the only people who know about it are James and Zach's agents. Thankfully it did not cause panic among the residents of the Missions who did not know. Until a week passed since the incident, strangely there is no other suspicious thing.

My confusion at the thought stopped when my phone rang and it turned out to be Elisha. Tumben once at 11pm he had not slept, but after we had dinner last night I managed to drive him home and he looked sleepy.

No text messages, he just sent me a photo of the street that I know very well is the street out of the Mension Amatrong area. I sent a reply, 'You're out again, with Dereck?'

There was no reply at all, for fear that I decided to call Elisha's number, but it was not answered at all, I think the phone is dead. I called Dereck and while waiting for his answer I checked the cctv that was in Elisa's room a few minutes ago.

Finally Dereck's voice reached my ears, "Well, Dude what do you want?"

"I can't call Elisha." It was then that the cctv tape was twisted, and there Elisa, she went into her room and lay down.

"Maybe he's sleeping."

"Can you check it out."

Back I sped up the cctv and just as Dereck wanted to answer, my curse had already come out, "Damn, Elisha came out of his room by himself and I didn't find him back in the room!"

"Leon, what's wrong?"

"Quick find Elisha all over the mension!"

I immediately turned off the call to Dereck, while running out of the room, I called Zach.

"Zach, can you open access to Armstrong's residence cctv, I can't contact Elisa."

I didn't hear an answer from him, but for a moment I heard his conversation on another channel, "Call immediately to the agent at Armstrong's session, see the whole cctv, and ... has anything been detected approaching the Missions?"

Before I heard Zach's swearing, I immediately turned off the phone. I dialed my executor's number by writing a message, 'Find Elisha!'

I did not forget to send the photo Elisha had sent to me. I also sent Elisha contact with trembling hands. After that I hurriedly ran to reach the main mension where Zach was. When I arrived, I approached Zach, who was sitting in the living room facing the main door of his Missions. I saw the same panic on Zach's face.

"Elisa sneaked into the car of one of the bodyguards, as the car came to a halt in refueling it seemed like she was riding in a taxi. They're looking where the taxi's headed."

Hearing Zach's explanation, I subconsciously swore loudly. I stopped it when a message came into my phone. I immediately opened the message and from the information of my executor, he gave the coordinate point where Elisha was. When I opened it, it turned out that he was right at Zach's Missions.

Knowing this, my reflexes stood up from my seat. Zach who saw me immediately asked, "What's wrong? Found her?"

I looked at Zach and it made him even more confused. Before long, the roar of the car entered the mension yard, where we are in here very well know that the car stopped right in front of this mension. We both saw the big door open and behind it appeared Elisha.

He seemed to be shocked by our existence right in this living room. I who immediately saw Elisha involuntarily shouted very loudly, "Elizabeth Armstrong!"

He seemed to be jolted with my screams until he stiffened not daring to come to us. Zach was speechless, he just sat limp on the sofa and massaged his forehead. While me? Don't ask any more questions, because all I did was turn to Elisha and drag him right in front of Zach.

Elisha's complaint was heard as I did so, "This Leon is sick! Release!"

He beat my hand, but I was so unperturbed that I unconsciously threw him on the sofa.

"Auhh, you're rude, Goddamn it!"

"So what you say!"

To be honest, I was never this angry when someone cursed me. But really this time Elisha scared me half to death with what he did.

I saw that Elisha's tears had settled in his eyes. But what I did was to keep scolding her.

"Don't cry! Don't make everyone worry more. You don't see us being frustrated looking for you. How could you sneak out of the mansion without thinking about your safety, Elisha!"

In a discordant tone he replied to me, "What are you thinking? I'm just trying to get here. Don't you see I'm okay?"

I shook my head at what he said.

"Elisa, why don't you understand too. Why should you keep quiet and not tell others? You see Zach, does he look better than me? do you think your father will be better than us? Try not to think everything will be okay if you do everything yourself. Use your brain to－"

"Leon, just don't overdo it!" Zach managed to interrupt my anger.

"Elisa, please don't be like this anymore. Don't come out without your family's knowledge."

Elisha's tears had fallen and with a sob he said, "Zach, I'm going with my bodyguard!"

"Yes and you left it in refueling to go here! Don't you realize what you're doing? You made me have to fire him just because of you!"

Just this time I saw Zach's anger on Elisha. I think everyone's pretty emotional about this.

Suddenly Elisha's cry grew. "Why are you always like this? Why can't I be like a woman in general? I just want to be free wherever I go without anyone following."

I began to calm Elisha down. "Elisa can't be like that, try not to be stubborn for your own safety. We're all worried about you."

Elisha who was already covered in tears finally stood up from his seat and approached me. He hit my chest repeatedly and I just let him.

"Are you going to be just like them, Leon? You're a fool, you don't understand what I'm feeling."

I could not bear the cry of Elisha. He kept chanting how stupid I was, "You stupid, you stupid Leon. I'm here for you, don't you remember it's your birthday."

I finally stopped the hand of Elisha who had been beating my chest. My heart crumpled when I heard what he said. He did this for me? The stunned me finally hugged Elisha, I rubbed his head and he cried in my arms.

"I'm sorry, I'm sorry Elisha. I don't even remember that, you don't have to bother about it. You know it doesn't matter to me, you're more important than that, Elisha."

With Elisha still so busy, I brought Elisha to sit on the sofa and he returned to calm as before.

"I just remembered it and I tried to give you a surprise, and what happened was like this." He was crying over what he had done before.

Zach who could not bear to finally come closer and rubbed Elisha's back while saying, "Here you go, this has already happened, then never do something careless like this again, Elisha. Stay here, I'll call your dad."

Zach glanced at me, signalling Elisha's handing over to me to be calmer. He passed to his study, I think he would accept James's tantrums again after Elisha took the initiative to go to his ministry without telling anyone.

Elisha was still as happy as I kissed his head. "It is Elisha, it has happened. Come on you need to rest, you want to go to your room?"

In my arms he nodded his head. By walking slowly I escorted him to reach the second floor where the room he always used to stay in Zach palace.

When we sat down on the bed, I still rubbed Elisha's back while patiently waiting for his body to calm down. I didn't comment on anything to make him win his own mind. A few minutes passed and he was no longer sobbing.

I finally opened my voice, "Rest Elisha, forgive me and Zach for yelling at you."

I kissed his hand, and continued, "Please, begging for your future safety we are very protective, I will not forgive myself if anything happens to you. I can't afford to lose the one I love anymore, Elisha, I can't."

It felt like my head was hit by a dark thought while saying that. Deep down in my heart, it was so painful, it was painful that my tears would drip. I tried to cover it all up in front of Elisha. I don't want to look weak in front of him.

I kissed her hand before hugging her body. In my heart I said 'I love you Elisha, don't let yourself be wretched, I don't want to lose the person I love, ever again.'

I let go of my embrace before laying Elisha down, I still held his hand as I kissed his forehead.

"Sleep." He just nodded without answering.

I don't want to stay here any longer because I feel like I'm gonna shed a tear. But I abandoned Elisha when I heard Elisha's tweet, "Leon, accompany me."

I stared at Elisha for a while before coming back to him and laying down beside him. I hugged him and kept rubbing his back. Elisha was calm in my arms until he did not move indicating that he had fallen asleep. While me? Still wandering in my own mind at the thought of my greatest fear of losing Elisha.
